Hi,

I noticed the scan is slower and slower in long session and can be reset by restart the poker client. I am playing on 888.

2 wait-list related ideas, tell me what you think:

1) I wish that the Tables list showed me just WHAT NUMBER I was on the waitlist...currently it gives waitlisted tables a different color..."2/15" would be SO much more useful than just "15".

2) While most fish I play against have no patience for a waiting list and just sit at any available seat, some of them actually like to get on waiting lists for tables...I think I've brought this up before, but can TST add me to waiting lists that players I designate are on?

Since TST seems to have the ability to detect when hero's screename is on a waitlist (since it knows to color it in the Tables window), both of the suggestions above don't seem like they'd be TOO difficult to implement, and I think would pay BIG bang-for-the-buck dividends

What do you think?


EDIT: something i just noticed...what's the asterisk (*) for in the Tables list? The iPoker waitlists that I'm on have an asterisk but the Stars waitlists don't...all of them are colored orange (which is the setting i chose), but what does the asterisk mean?

Ok, thanks, I'll see if there's anything I can do about that, also just so you know I did make some nice improvements and bugfixes to 888 scanning in the next update so we'll see if that helps.

The * is right from the iPoker lobby in the list of tables, it shows when you're on a waitlist, the way TableScan should tell you if you're on a waitlist is by making the tablename green. Anyways I probably will implement something like that eventually, but it will be a huge project, also it will not work well on some sites, for example iPoker i think would be one of the worst sites to do it on and would cause a lot of focus stealing issues because TST would have to click on the waitinglist button then back to the regular playerlist for every table, which would cause the lobby to steal focus, so it would only really be usable in like a server-side scanning scenario

Yep, I thought about that too...but some sites like Stars, where the WL is right in the lobby shouldn't be as difficult.

do you work in Celeb poker now? because before 3 days ago not working...

TST has been working great for pretty much forever, but in the past few days it has stopped responding while scanning party poker tables, on win7 x64 fwiw.

Ok, thanks, I'm trying to release the next update tonight, so let me know after that if you see any improvement. I've fixed a lot of little bugs, also there was some mistakes I made when I upgraded the npgsql api in the latest version, which could cause lag or crashing in some rare scenarios, I have fixed those mistakes as well

Anyone notice some misbehavior on Ongame? TST is opening way more tables than it should...i have AWL on, so it is supposed to join the waitlist (or simply OPEN the table in the case of Ongame, since there are no WLs) for tables where one of my buddies is found, but it's opening a LOT of other tables where no buddies are playing.

Can you see when it happens, if you click on the table in the lobby, and look at the playerlist and compare it to the playerlist of TST, is it the same?

I am planning to add server-side scanning, but I need to do some more research into whether or not enough people would actually want it, as it would require a big investment in computer hardware for me to get it started

^I would not bet that interested, especially if it would require paying a monthly fee. If it's that big an investment on your side I doubt enough people will sign-up.

I used to subscribe to each of PT3 and HEM's server-side scanning, and at first thought that no client-side scanning tool would ever be able to match server-side scanning...but now I realize it's because PT3 and HEM's client-side scanning tools sucked balls. TST is the nuts and -- as I think you pointed out to me at some point during an IM chat -- server-side scanning will be orders of magnitude slower than client-side...for example, I can set TST to permascan every 10 seconds...I wouldn't have any sort of control over that via a server-side solution...but don't let me speak for other people; maybe there's enough demand out there for it. Just 2 cents, coming from someone who used to use PT3 and HEM's server-side scanners religiously, and now realize how much better a good client-side scanner like TST actually is.

2 bugs to report, both in relation to the table hud.

1. When playing on party and you get disconnected, after reconnection tst will no longer display the table hud even if you close tst and rescan all tables. However on any new tables opened the table hud works perfectly. This bug has been happening for a while but I kept forgetting about it.

2. Since the last update, when viewing players on the table hud you have to scroll down to see the last player. This happens when there are 3, 4, 5 etc players so doesn't seem to be related to a particular number. This is happening on party nl 6 max tables btw. I think I explained it clearly enough but I can get a screenshot if required.

Yeah I would charge 10$ a month, with better rates for bulk-time. But I probably will need 50 or more VMs running TST 24/7 and also it is a very large time investment just keeping them all running properly.

Thanks Well I do think there are some good uses for it. Also there are situations where it could be faster, or as fast as client side scanning, for example if you're scanning 100+ tables at .25/.50 on stars, if on the server side I actually had like 3 or 4 different instances scanning .25/.50 on stars, then the server's data would definitely be updated more frequently than your own. I would have autoscan running on a 0sec interval on the server side so you wouldn't have to worry about that either. And also it could be nice if you have a slow computer and want to scan a lot of tables on multiple sites. But of course, I do agree with everything you're saying

1) I know about the issue, I will try to fix it. The problem is that after a disconnect they change the titles of the table and throw random numbers in it. But I should be able to fix that
2) If you could email a screenshot, it would help, zandry@tablescanturbo.com , I am not having that problem. What I have seen before is that if the playerlist is not wide enough, then the horizontal scrollbar is shown, and the playerlist height adjustment code doesn't properly account for the horizontal scrollbar so you have to scroll down. I should be able to fix that too. But an easy fix you can do now is to make the columns less wide, or you can increase the playerlist width in Hud > Configure > Appearance, then it should work properly I'd think

I just tested it and this seems to be what is happening. Around the time of the last update I added a new column which added the horizontal scroll bar. I also hadn't realised I could set the width in the settings so ty for that.

Hello, I play on PS and sometimes when I select some tables and press SPACE, it doesn't automatically join me at the waiting list, just opens the tables. I don't know if it is PS or TST, just wondering.
Also, when I move tables/browser/etc on PS software it seems like "freezing" (not exactly), still scans of course but I noticed there are some mistakes.
Other than that nice software, and when it is released it'd be cool if there could be payment through PS/other sites.

I inadvertently introduced a bug in the "open table AND join" functionality on pokerstars in the last update, I sent you a PM with a fix. Also if you're using the "non-ocr method" on pokerstars, try to turn that off it should help. As far as accepting payment through pokersites, the problem is I'm in the USA. So it would not be easy, possibly I could do it through a third party but probably the easiest thing to do would be to transfer money to a friend of yours on the site and have them buy a key for you

When I tried to started "SCAN" on pokerstars today TS crashed. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it (also the 2008 SP1 red pacjage) but the problem persists. Latest TS version and Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with all updates.
