Really sorry guys, I just spent a bunch of money to upgrade to my own VPS about 2 weeks ago, and until today it was working great, this morning they claim it was overloaded and took it down for almost 40 minutes, which is completely unacceptable, I am pretty enraged at them and dealing with the situation now. The funny thing is my average server load is about 0.15, which if you don't know about VPS basically means that I am using about 1-3% of my server's resources, so i'm very interested to hear how they're gonna explain that my server was "overloaded" and how it's somehow my fault. Also on an unrelated note they say their servers need to go down for <5 minutes sometime between 11PM-1AM EST for a software update, so if you get that message tonight just give it a minute or two and try it again, it *should* go very quickly or at least they claim it will

Anyways I do have another shared hosting account I'm still paying for so I will set it up in the next update to check a backup server if the primary server goes down. I apologize again for any inconvenience

Do you use HUD filters, eg. only use stats for 4-6 players or last x months?

Two (unrelated) problems:
1) On 5050poker (Microgaming), the scan often starts looping around the lobby and the scan never stops. This also steals a lot of attention from the poker client, making it impossible to type a note and difficult to get mouse clicks in if a table is open.

2) Often after 1st-3rd permascan finishes, I see "Waiting to Scan" at the bottom but without the timer. And there will not be a scan before I click "Scan Tables".

Both get fixed (for a brief time) by restarting TST.

RC1b3, Vista 32.

EDIT: oh, scanning all sites but Bodog that are available in the list

This is happening for me on stars also, sometimes it will say "opening table" sometimes waiting to scan.

Ok, I will have to test on 5050 more, for the 2nd bug is it possible you have the option "Don't start a new scan when TableScan is in focus" checked, at Configure > PermaScan. Just wondering because that is the only way I'm aware of that it could display a "Waiting to Scan" without the timer next to it, maybe the bug is in that feature

I'm using tst to scan tables from 5050 Poker lobby. There are 14 tables with players seated but tst wrongly states that 8 of them are empty. No error is reported.

Yeah I have "Don't start a new scan when TableScan is in focus" on. FWIW, I just updated to a new PC (win7 64), didn't see either bug during a nights worth of scanning. But just managed to crash TST by trying to set the stakes range in 5050 lobby... a scan was going on and somehow (suspecting TST obv) the stakes slider kept sliding by its own.

Is there any way you could turn off ClearType off only from the monitor that has TST active?

Ok, well it's possible that you could fix that by lowering the selection speed, but I think the problem is, I code and test TST on my WinXP computer, and on WinXP I think microgaming scanning is working very well. But I have heard a lot of people having strange problems like this when using it on Win7/Vista, so I definitely need to test it more extensively on my Win7 machine. In the meantime, I made some very tiny improvements to the microgaming code for reading players which can get messed up on Win7, here is a build which includes that fix:

http://www.tablescanturbo.com/files/...te_RC1b3-3.exe

Also i'd suggest you try switching between the browse view and the advanced view of the lobby and see which one works better for you at the moment

That indicates to me that TST thinks you are in the "TreeView" lobby but you're actually in the "Advanced/Browse" view of the lobby, and that's why that slider may be getting clicked. I'd say for the time being try and use the "TreeView" lobby and see if that works for you, as I said above I need more testing of Microgaming on Win7, the code which seems to work well on XP seems to have problems on Win7, anyways it's not a very difficult site to work with so I will definitely get it running more smoothly on Win7 in the next few updates

I can't get RC1 build 3 to install.

When I click the file (update or setup same result) I get an error that says:

Unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted.
Error 5: Access is denied

The files are in my download folder. I have tried clicking them and all also right clicking then "run as admin". I have UAC turned off. I can run the v.50c update files that are still in my download folder. It still doesn't work if I copy the file to the desktop and then try to run it.

What am I doing wrong?

Ok, tst works better with this update. Right now there are 9 tables with seated players and tst reports back the numbers correctly for 8 of them. Lots of errors are being reported now though. Do you want the error log?

Many player names are being read wrongly as well, but you seem to know that already.

I'm using Windows Vista btw.

Are these new problems, which didn't happen before the latest update? I didn't really made any changes to the ipoker scanning. Are you using the new HUD feature in TableScan when these problems occur? Can you send me a message on AIM/MSN/ICQ/Skype and I can try to view it on teamviewer or build/send different versions to debug what's happening

Well I've never heard of that before, there's no reason I can think of that it would just start now, searching google came up with this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555644

I don't know if that will help. Anyways I've uploaded the necessary files in a .zip file for you, so you can download it and extract it to C:\Program Files\TableScan Turbo\ and overwrite the current .exe and .dll files, and it should work for you:

http://www.tablescanturbo.com/files/...ate_RC1-b3.zip

But if you have a few minutes to try and figure out why the installer isn't working for you, that'd be preferable so I don't have to make a zip every update

Sure, if you could email me the error log maybe I'll find something interesting in there. I'm not really aware of player names being read wrongly, can you search if there's a file in your C:\Windows\Fonts directory called "Arialuni.ttf". That font seems to slightly change the font used in microgaming's player list, but I did program the OCR so it should work well with both that and the regular arial. If you could send me a message on my AIM/MSN/ICQ/Skype listed above, it would be very helpful

I got it install. Problem with Comodo.

How do I get permascan to leave the table list in tact? It seems to work exactly like before the update.

I don't understand the question, I had sent you a version with permascan before I released it, so it is pretty much the same thing in this version as what it was when you were testing it, if that's what you mean

Looks like this morning's FTP update is causing some issues, I'm trying to figure it out and should be able to get a fix out by tonight but there is a simple workaround in the meantime:

- Start FTP but do not login instead click "Observe"
- Run a Scan with TableScan
- Now login to FTP and the scanning will work properly for the rest of your session.

For some reason, if you start FTP and login, TableScan will give you errors and will not scan unless you restart FTP and use the above process

It does seem to slow down on FTP right after an FTP update maybe because lots of people are downloading from their server, hopefully it'll be faster today. But yes, FTP has been making it progressively slower with every update, especially that one about 2 months ago that took the waitlists out of the lobby

Anyways I am happy to say I have finally figured out what the problem was with FTP's latest update in TableScan and I will be releasing a fix shortly, it was actually really difficult for me to figure this one out
