One of our priorities for the next update is to improve performance for people with slower machines so hopefully we can make some progress on this.

If you want to send me your TNLog file and TNConfigAutoLoad file and a screen shot of your tables to support@alxsoftware.com I'd definitely like to take a look at your setup and see what could be causing such lag.

I do most of my testing on a pretty high end machine and I usually play no more than 30 tables but I never have any lag whatsoever so its been a little tricky for me to track down the cause of these lag problems. Do you ever have lag with 30 tables?

What OS/windows theme do you have? Do you know what kind of graphics card you have? If you have a nice graphics card, everything will be much much faster in Windows Vista with an "Aero" theme.

New feature request:

How about being able to assign hotkeys to raise a specific number, rather than a % of the pot or whatever.

Ie. If I press the hotkey it will raise to specifically 550, whatever the blinds are (realising that it won't work if the blinds are too high)

This is essentially to combat TableNinja becoming funky when ante's come into play. There is a blind level of 100/200 (no ante), then 100/200 (25), and when setting up SNG Betting you can't separate the two. So I would like to set a key to specifically raise to 550 in this situation.

I think this could be handy to everyone, SNG/Cash whatever, because obviously the same scenarios keep coming up, and to have buttons preassigned for them in this way would be a cool alternative to pot size.

New stars update and now when I try to register for a tourney using tableninja it all freezes and I have to close stars and restart it. This is using the autoregister feature where you just double click on the tourney and it handles the register box for you

Love the software so far - great job ! One issue I would like to raise is that I like to 24-table a mix of different sngs from 18 mans - 180 mans . I have tried running 2 or 3 filters at once on the sitngo opener , like I will set one filter for $16 18mans , one for $6 and $12 45mans and one for $7.70 and $12 180mans and enable them all at once . It starts out all right but once I have a full set , each time I bust I end up being registered for the same tourney type all the time. Is it designed to be able to run several filters seperately?
If I have a full session of 24 running and then I bust from one it will register me in the first tourney type. However, when I bust from another tourney I would like it to register me for the next tourney type or move onto the next type if I am already reg'd for that one. This way it would keep a balance of tourneys running , rather than continuously registering me in the same tourney type . Is there something I could do? Or something you could add to the software?

This wouldn't be hard to do, and could probably be added to the fixed bets tab. Would you prefer this being added to the fixed bets tab or us making it possible the separate things by antes on the SNG betting tab.

Todays PokerStars update changed the way the Tournament Registration popup works.

We are working on fixing this issue and we hope to have a update for TableNinja out within 48 hours. TableNinja will notify you automatically at startup once the update has been released.

As a temporary solution while you're waiting for the update you can revert Stars to the previous version.

To revert PokerStars go to your stars install directory and open the "backup folder. By default this is in "C:\Program Files\Pokerstars\backup". Not everyone will have a backup directory, but if it exists you can revert to the previous version of Pokerstars until we release an update to TableNinja. Copy the files from the backup directory into the C:\Program Files\Pokerstars directory and then run the Pokerstars.exe directly from your PokerStars install directory (DO NOT USE YOUR DESKTOP SHORTCUT). This will allow you to temporarily run the old version of Stars.

We will release an update fixing the problem as soon as possible.

Things should work the way you want them to with multiple filters running simultaneously, however we have another user reporting the exact same kind of problems you are having so we think there may be some kind of bug that is affecting a small percentage of people.

If you could email me at support@alxsoftware.com with your TNLog file and TNConfigAutoLoad file from your TableNinja install directory, hopefully by comparing your settings to the other person having this problem we will be to narrow things down and get this fixed.

Thanks guys

Cool man. As long as by adding it to the fixed bets tabs it worked in SNGs/MTTs as well then this seems like a good solution. Perhaps up to 6 or even 9 boxes to be able to set that many different numbers would be sweet.

Hey, on the autoregistering problem with the update. Which files exactly would I be copying from the backup folder?

Inside the backup folder I have 2 other folders (Gx and Themes) and then 3 files (Pokerstars, update and i18n.msg_cli).

Sorry not the best on computers.

Cheers

You want to copy everything in the backup directory (including the GX and themes folder and all 3 files) and then paste it into your PokerStars folder. When you do this, Windows will ask you if you want to replace all the existing files and folders and click yes.

Then just double clicking the PokerStars.exe file inside the PokerStars directory should work.

Hope this helps,

Hey guys,

We've released a very important update to TableNinja which contains a fix for the latest PokerStars update. You can download the update from our website at http://tableninja.com/downloads.php.

We changed the way TableNinja handles tournament registrations so that it is now compatible with the latest PokerStars update. If you have reverted PokerStars to its previous version please update both TableNinja and PokerStars at this time.

Here is a complete list of what new in TableNinja version 1.1.23.0:

New Features
  • Updated Tournament Registration handling to be compatible with the latest PokerStars® update

As usual feel free to continue to request new features on this thread. If you encounter any problems with the new version don't hesitate to post here or email me at support@alxsoftware.com and I will do everything I can to help you out.

Thanks!

Tarath, by saying to update Stars and TN at the same time, you're not saying that 1.1.23 isn't backwards compatible to the old Stars client, are you? I'm still holding off on upgrading Stars to give the fallout a few days so should I hold off on updating TN as well?

I believe its backward compatible but I did the majority of my testing on the new stars.

We actually think that there is a chance that 1.1.23.0 will also fix the problem you were having using multiple filters simultaneously so why don't you go ahead and update TN and give it a try.

Thanks

tarath, do you think it's possible for you to make a "Shark List" feature like the old Full Tilt Shortcuts had?
It would not register for a sit and go if X amount of players whose name are listed in your sharklist.txt were already registered.

In FTS you could also set the number of players that should already be registered until it starts registering you for tournaments.

In conjunction those features were great for sit and go table selection.

Tarath,
Are you planning on adding a overlay display feature to table ninja? What I mean is a basic HUD that shows stack sizes in # of BBs and # of players currently at the table, etc..

Hey guys

has anybody a clue for the following: I'm using a Logitech MX Rev. mouse, but all I can use with tableninja is the right click button, nothing else. What do I have to do to be able to use all button from my mouse (except left click button obv). thx for the help.

Can you make it so when you auto take a seat, it takes the left most one so I'll be to the left of a fish if one joins? It seems it only takes the one on the right if there are two open.

Just open mouse- and keyboard settings from setpoint (logitech soft). There you can define a keypress for every mouse button. Define the same key in tn.

I have all-in on the search button, bet on the back etc. - you can set it "per application", so those keys are assigned only for pokerstars but i.e. your browser still works as expected. Make sure to select pokerstars.exe, not tableninja.exe.

Works really great for me here.

yuk

I'm having some problems with my TN for the first time. Too be honest 20 tabling with a mouse is making me go absolutely *** nuts so plz help fast.

- The pot betting works fine
- The sit'n'go opener works fine

The thing is this; all of a sudden:
- The action Hotkeys: basic is not working
- The fixed bets all in function is not working
- The automatically refresh info tab for tournaments is not working
- The tournament closer is not working
- Set table aside hotkeys are not working

Weird, it's been working fine until a couple of days ago b/4 latest change at PS.

I was having issues yesterday with the automatic handling of DON SNG tourney registration messages with TableNinja. Not sure if a complaint has been filed, but the Pokerstars window where you can click "REGISTER" and "CANCEL" was ultra-laggy.

This may be a result of the new update, it may have been on pokerstars end, but i wanted to throw it in here in case someone hasn't mentioned it

Basic question here thats likely already been answered. Do Pokerstars themselves concent to the use of this programe. Seems touch and go to me as its the players decision but theres still a program doing things for you.
