ow and could you launch a small update where we can uncheck the 'maximum number of tables x" but the "automaticly click no if over maximum" still works?

Hmm, I had not thought of this. Let me make sure I understand:

You want the option to have TableNinja automatically click no when you are over the maximum but NOT have it also automatically click yes when you are under the maximum?

Is that right?

We could probably change the interface so it would say, automatically click yes when I have less than X tables and a separate option to automatically click no when I have more than Y tables.

Let me know if this is what you want,

when I uncheck "maximum numbe..." "auto click no" is not working. so when im ending a session and the wailist thing pops up i have to click No manually.

What im doing now when shutting down a session I enter "1"in maximum number of tables.

so either you could add "0" or let the auto click box checked when maximum number is unchecked.

do you play cash or sng's?

I play cash and I definitely appreciate that the current system makes ending a session harder than it should be. Adding 0 would be very very easy for us, would keep the interface simple, and would do what you want so that sounds like the best solution.

The next update will have this changed.

Thanks for clarifying,

Hi tarath

I play MTT's & SNGMTT's for a few hours at a a time, I stack them down one side of my screen as you can see in the attached picture. Is is possible in future upgrades that you would be able to automatically size all my tables the same, and also rotate through the tournaments as I start/finish them?

What I mean is say I have 15 tables stacked, I stack them in order of starting time, the first table(Table Amneris in the picture) is in slot 1, second table(Albiorix) is in slot 2 and so on. When I finish a tournament in slot 2 I would like all the tournaments below to jump up one spot in the stack, with new tournaments started joining at the bottom of the stack. So that throughout my session I know that the MTT's that hopefully I will be in for a few hours will work their way to the top of my stack, while as I start and finish SNGMTT's they also work their way up the stack, so that tables where I am deeper/shorterhanded on will naturally be further up the stack. Is this something TableNinja will be able to do in future versions? Here is the pic so you have a better idea of what I mean.

Hi Tarath,

Is there any way to tell when a table empties? I just had a bunch of tables open, and I have them stacked. When I closed them, I noticed that several had emptied without me noticing. Thanks.

Hey,

Thanks for the suggestion. We do have long term plans for something that would allow you to do what your describing but I'm sorry to say we will not be adding this kind of feature in the near future. I'm sorry.

Right now TableNinja does not count how many players are at a table. However, the next update will have a feature that requires counting how many people were dealt into a hand, so once that tool is at our disposal we will have the ability to offer features like "auto sit out and close table when # of players < X".

So nothing like this will be added in the very next update, but two updates from now this is definitely the kind of thing we will be looking at adding.

Thanks for the feedback guys,

Tarath

Is there a way to get Pot Sized bettings working with PT3? WHen I had PT3 and my HUD loaded there is a PT icon partially blocking the POT size that I cannot move.

Also what is the best way to set up my windows? I'm 20 tabling and put 5 in each corner but randonly 3-4 do not work when i try using the % pot feature? this is without using PT3 btw.

Also it is not automatically sitting after automatically clicking OK on a waitlisted table. if i click on the reserved seat then it will automatically buy in .. but will not automatically sit.

however, what is interesting is when i open a table with an empty seat, it will automatically sit down and buy in.

Hi,
I've been testing TableNinja and having a problem with the "Pot Betting" portion. For the "Default Bets", I have it set up for #BB: 2.5 plus 1.00 per limper.

So what happens is when there are no antes it does what I want, but when antes hit, it starts to add 2.5BB + Antes + 1 per limper (which is not what I want). I think including the antes into the default bets is better when you're choosing %Pot, but when choosing to go with the BB, you're just looking for bets in BB. This has been iritating at points because "Table Ninja will automatically enter into the bet box on your turn." so on 200/400 A25, I may scroll it back from the 1300 or so bet and change it to 1050 only to have TableNinja rechange that number back to 1300 when I click "raise" thus overbetting the raise I want.

I use HEM personally so I am not 100% familiar with the customizing the PT3 HUD but I know we have hundreds of people using TableNinja with PT3 so there is definitely a way to have it not cover the pot box.

Hopefully one of our PT3 users will be able to give you some advice on this

As long as you have all your settings on the setup tab correctly set and are using either the hyper-simple or classic pokerstars theme it should not matter how you lay out your tables. Having 4 stacks of 5 tables is a pretty common setup and definitely should work. Make sure you have "stacking" or "overlapping" chosen as your "Table Layout" on the setup tab.

If you need more help getting things working, go ahead and email me at support@alxsoftware.com with

1) A screen shot of your tables with your HUD running
2) Your TNConfigAutoLoad file from your TableNinja install directory
3) Your TableNinja log file from your TableNinja install directory

and I can help you get everything configured.

Seems like if I set a table to the default table size, the pot bet % feature does not work. I have to make my tables a little bigger ... interesting issue. Are we aware of this?

This should definitely not be the case. the pot-betting should work at any table size. I am almost certain that something is a little off in your configuration and if you email me with the information I requested above I'd be more than happy to help you out

Sorry I didn't respond to this earlier, I somehow missed this post. This will be changed to work the way you want in the next update unless we run into some unforseen problems. Mathematically it made sense to me for it to work the way that it does now but I completely appreciate that this is not what people want and we will fix it. The user is always right

Its possible that this is also a configuration issue although a few other people have been having trouble with this feature since mondays pokerstars update.

Pokerstars changed the way the seating and buy-in popup work and for a few people this has caused problems.

Once I get your email I'll know more.

EDIT: Just saw your new question Free trial lasts 2 weeks from the first time you download and run the program. And thanks, glad you like the prog!

Stars definitely knows about TableNinja and we run our features by them to make sure we don't break any rules.

We are on their official list of permitted software programs which you can view here:

First of all, I really couldn't live without this program any more. It's by far and away my favourite poker addon. Without this and a HUD I'd be totally lost.

With that said, Tarath, I thought I'd let you know I experienced the SNG over-registering issue again today. I asked it to fire up 10 tables and to keep 10 tables open for 45 minutes. It went ahead and loaded up 10 just fine. When I busted out of my first game however, it re-regged me for 2 more games, bringing the total up to 11. It did this once more during the set I believe. For some reason I didn't have the Tournament Closer enabled which I usually do, and I'm wondering if it might have gotten confused by the dead tables still being open in my stack. I re-enabled Tournament Closer and didn't experience the issue again, but whether or not the 2 events are related I obviously do not know. Anyway, if you would like any more info from me, just ask.

Keep up the great work

Glad you like the program I'll take TableNinja being your favorite poker program as an extremely high complement!

What we're finding with the SnG opener is that if Stars lags at all at just the wrong time, even Stars won't realize you've registered for the tournament (you may notice that even when you join tournaments by hand when tableninja is not even running, the register button in the lobby doesn't switch to "unregister" for a few seconds sometimes). Unfortunately, when this happens, Tableninja doesn't know that you've registered successfully either, so it tries another tournament.

In the advanced settings at the bottom of the SnG opener there is a "scroll wait" option. If you increase this, TableNinja will wait longer between registration attempts which should decrease the odds of this happening significantly. Fixing the problem completely (without making the SnG opener run very slowly) is a very tricky problem because if Stars is slow to realize you've registered sometimes obviously its very hard for us to figure out what stars doesn't know.

We do have an idea for a solution that will be in the next update but we cannot promise anything yet, the idea is untested. We plan to make some pretty substanial improvements to the SnG opener in the next update, including fixing the problem where the lobby occassionally stops updating, improving the counting, simplifying the interface, etc

So in the mean time try increasing your scroll wait and hopefully in the near future we will provide an update with a more permanent solution. We listed this feature as being "beta" because we knew there were bound to be a few unforseen difficulties with something new and as complex as the SnG opener, and just like with the rest of TableNinja we hope to quickly improve the SnG opener with all the feedback we're getting from you guys.

Thanks again for the great review of the program and for buying

The "AA Check/Fold" hotkey will click the advanced action check/fold box for you. If you are using the "Table Under Mouse" or "Manually Cycled/Clicked" Table Control mode the "AA Check/Fold" hotkey will also click the regular fold button for you on your turn. If you are in the "Table in Foreground" Table Control method you will need to use separate hotkeys to click the advanced action check/fold checkbox and the regular fold button.

Thanks and let me know if you have any other questions.

I think TN has been causing a problem for me. It happened just a minute ago. The window from the PS client popped up telling me my seat was available that I was on the waitlist for. At the same time I was using the hot key to close a table. The table closed but the join table window disappeared. After this it never reappeared and I got the notice "Sorry, you did not respond in time. You have been removed from the table "......." waiting list" for every other table I was waiting for. This is the second time this has happened. Not only that, PS will not close properly and I have to use the task manager.
