Looking over the logs tells me the issue is that whoever made your custom theme needs to update the pot box location to match the new location of its hyper-simple base. Everything should work fine if you use a standard theme.



This would definitely be a nice improvement, however it is also significantly more technically complex so we went with the simpler more manual system. I think in the future we'd definitely like to streamline the update process.

Yes, I'm afraid the old feature is no longer compatible with the new version of PokerStars.

Had same problem with classic theme and hypersimple theme ...So it's not theme problem.

You can strongly suggest all you want,but I wont give another dime to a company that has small fine print and makes a product that stops working after a year and won't fix your BASIC problem unless you pay the more money when this isn't mentioned anywhere. You specifically say we don't get new features or programs but will throw in free upgrades that have to do with the program working. That's fair. But you won't even let us update and use OUR OLD program anymore. It's principle. I always suggest to my friends to get TN and about 4-6 of them have bought it this year because I though you're company was about the customers,not hoping a pokerstars update will break your software and you can make another $35 from thousands of customers.
Also when are you going to address the people who bought your program the month it came out. As far as I remember there was no option for a year or lifetime updates in the beginning.

It seems new TableNinja don't accept Tiltbuster theme at Setup table.

Nice job Tarath,it´s working ok for me after the first update (1.2.70.0).
It was a big problem for me yesterday, and when I read before my sesion today that two 2+2ers where still having the same issue whith the update I just assumed that the problem wasn´t fixed,but at last decided to try it and it worked ok for me,so thanks and sorry for the confusion.

Also congrats for this wonderful sotware.I´m now with the trial version and hope I had tried TN before.I will seriously consider buying it..

Ugg why is there no option to run current version instead of updating, I haven't updated Stars and everything is fine as it is.

Just dloaded the latest TN update. Am using the latest version of stars with hypersimple them. The auto-post blinds functionality is still not working - it is still often clicking sit-out next hand.

The new update should take care of all the changes. Feel free to update Stars. The only conflict remaing is with custom hyper-simple based themes that haven't been updated with the new pot box location. I'll be sure to mention this to Tarath though for further review.



While time was short we were able to test the auto post blinds feature across multiple system configurations. What version number is listed when you go to PokerStars>Help>About PokerStars? Are you using hyper-simple or a hyper-simple based custom theme? Have you tried using classic? If none of this applies please make a new thread here:

Using standard stars hyper-simple theme and it does the same on classic anyway. Stars version 3.84. TN version 1.2.71.0

Can we get a 'skip update' option for next time, I never update Stars until necessary so I don't need or want the latest version on TN.

I have purchased lifetime updates, but an option to keep using the version that worked correctly with pokerstars before they updated will be nice.

+1111111 Would love TN to be able to display stacks, pot, and bets in BBs and to of course be able to bet in BBs.

The excerpt from your log file doesn't show the problem, but as far as I know this is not an issue a lot of other users are having. It was reported by a lot of users in 1.2.70.0 and has been confirmed as fixed in 1.2.71.0 by everyone else I have spoken to. I tried again to reproduce this on Win7 and XP and I think Fool tried a bunch yesterday with no luck so I'm think taking his advice and making a support thread and letting him help you personally is the best bet. He has a knack for resolving these types of issues

There is a "Stack Tables" hotkey at the bottom of the Table Control tab in TableNinja 1.2.70.0 next to the cascade and tile hotkeys.

I agree 100% with you guys that this would be a nice feature for our expert users and it is something we'd like to implement if we can figure out the best way to do it.

The basic issue is that we have a lot of users who aren't nearly as savvy as you guys are and don't know how to revert Stars. However, everyone hates downloading updates so if there were an option not to update I'm sure a lot of them would just choose that option without giving it much thought. In cases where the update contains a fix for a major problem that could cost our users money, forcing them to update is a valuable protection.

I've got a few ideas on solutions to this (detecting which version of Stars the user is running might be the best solution) but thats why it is that way it is right now and I hope that makes some sense at least.

Just to confirm,all the hyper simple theme problems are now fixed with the newest TN update?(72).

For the defualt hyper simple, yes. The problem was the new pot box location. Everything is fine between TableNinja and Stars but if you use a custom hyper-simple based theme you will need to make sure its been updated by whoever made it.

Anyone else having problems getting TN to load up today?

Yeah I just use the one provided by pokerstars.
