One question, may be unrelated to TN, but perhaps TN can make it stop.

I stack SNGs. Anytime a new SNG opens, the table pops up to the front and I have to alt tab, or use a hotkey, to get back to the table with action needed.

Is there a way to make new tables NOT come to the front unless there is action required on that table?

Thanks Tarath.

Hi Tarath,

"jump mouse to table" always put mouse above the action buttons, so I have to constantly move mouse down until it's at the edge of mouse pad and then lift the mouse moving back to the middle of the pad. So it's a problem if I'm not using hot key to act. If I AM using hot key, then probably I don't need "jump mouse to table".

So the question is can I control the position of "jump mouse to table" or put it on the middle button (usually call/check btn)?

Thanks

I've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is this just happened to me again but this time it was at a six max .10/.25 table after I had been there for about 100 hands.I hadn't changed tables or sat out or anything of that nature.I tried frantically to get a screen shot but I was unable to.I will keep my eyes open though. The good news is just saved a ton of money by switching to Geico!Muhahahahahaha...I'm ******ed

I just downloaded table ninja, I want to use the "set table asdide hotkeys"

However on the way of snapping back, It encounters the common non refresh size problem. How do I get around this? I have read a few pages back. I can use the F5 key to force a redraw, and this does fix the problem. However is there a more automated / permanent solution?

Thx for your advice earlier on Tarath. It's working fine now. I was just wondering ( it might be a stupid question ) : if you continuously run let's say 6 tables but you ask TN to reg for 30. Suddenly you disconnect and lose connection for couple of hours. You will only lose those 6 games you're running as TN will be cut of the internet too and won't register for any more games i guess ? . It also doesn't restart registering automatically when you have conn back ?

Thank you.

Check the tableninja thread.

Tarath is the guy who runs tableninja, so you should PM him here on 2+2

He doesn't take money by transfer on Stars as it contravenes Stars' TOS

I'm running Win XP SP3 and using the Hyper-simple theme. When I first installed TableNinja, the automatic detection worked w/o any problems.
Could you turn off the "Handle Big Blind Annoyances" feature and take a screen shot of a table where the "Wait for BB" button is visible and email it to support@alxsoftware.com? I'll take a look and figure out exactly why TN is failing to recognize the situation.

Unfortunately there is no way to do this, Stars brings new tables to the front and we cannot stop them :/

Unfortunately the mouse jump location is not customizable although I agree that it should be. Its on my list of todos but is not something I've gotten to yet.

I spent a while trying to reproduce this problem by getting moved to a new table in an MTT and had no luck so I think since its a very minor bug that just results in the OSD being off for a hand I'm going to move on at this point so don't worry too much about a screen shot unless you think you've really pinpointed the cause of the problem.

Glad you got things working

Theoretically speaking, if you lost your internet, didn't close Stars and were not using a time limit or the idle timer and then reconnected I'm actually not entirely sure what would happen.

To protect yourself in this case there is a "Stop if idle for X minutes" option on the Sit-n-Go Opener. This option automatically turns off the Sit-n-Go opener if you do not hit a hotkey or move your mouse for X minutes so its a good fail-safe if you are worried about this kind of issue.

Unfortunately we cannot accept Stars transfer, but if you email me at support@alxsoftware.com I'll see if we can work something else off.

I'm sorry you feel that way, we offer a 30 day 100% full featured free trial was to help people make sure that they like the program before they buy it. I certainly encourage everyone to take advantage of the free trial and give the program a try before buying.

Thanks guys,

I remember asking before but was wondering if there are any plans in the very near future to have the HUD display the number of players seated not just your BB stack. This was something I used on full tilt shortcuts when I used to play there and felt it helped my game very much.

For SNG players this will help with games being played in sessions and not sets as you often have to go from 9man tables to 4man bubbles back to 8handed. being able to display a (5) next to my (14BB) display would be maybe the biggest help to my game atm in terms of software/multitabling. Even having the BB text change colour based on number of players would help.

With ToI being such a good thing and TN allowing an almost unlimited mass multitabling commands, the only limitation I have is trying to keep up with glance counting players at the table.

I hope you are able to add this soon and if not, I would be willing to pay for a standalone AHk script to do this if anyone can assist. Although I still have full faith in tarath

We're planning on adding an M display which requires counting the number of players, so also adding in the number of players as a display option should be pretty simple once we have M working.

Right now we're putting most of our development time into TableNinjaFT so it may be a month or two before this gets done, but it is something I'd like to add in soon.

Thanks for the feedback,

Tarath

Tarath,

I'm having problem with the pot bet feature on a new computer. Windows 7 64-bit, Aero enabled, using the hotkeys assigned for various bet pot size %s returns the error that instructs to make sure the pot area is uncovered, even when I am playing on a single table with no HEM or anything else running. The big blind bets option does not work, either.

Tarath,

A few weeks ago I posted about having trouble with the Sit Out Next Big Blind feature...how sometimes it would sit me out in the small blind. Sorry if it has been posted already (long thread!!)...but I figured out that this function relies on the button and where you are and if someone sits out in what would have been his big blind, the program assumes you aren't in the blind. (if that makes sense).

So Say for example you are seat 4 and the BTN is on Seat 1. then the Seat 2 player sits out, you are now the Big Blind. If you click on Sit out next Big Blind while you are in the big blind, it sits you out the next hand (in your small blind).

Not sure if you can fix this or not but thought i'd let you know if someone else hasn't already. I'll just be careful to click it individually when I'm not in a blind..but when you do it for multiple tables, I guess you are just out of luck if this happens.

Thanks. Take care.

I tried out the new version with the idempotent window placement hot keys. Great stuff!

Now if I only had this on Full Tilt!

If you never improved the placement hot keys I would be happy with the current functionality. That said ...

PlaceMint's UI for selecting window size and positioning is awesome! I like my windows identical size and regularly spaced. PlaceMint makes this easy. TN not so much. With my current setup when I move tables to different positions at least one of these positions has a slightly different size. In PlaceMint, I can adjust the position and size by dragging the sample window or by typing in coordinates and dimensions. If TN had the option to use coordinates and dimensions that would really help. (Perhaps just a width dimension with the height being scaled appropriately).

While PlaceMint is a great program, it is a bit hard to set up for the n00b. This really highlights why I pay for TableNinja -- the setup UI for TN is wonderfully simple. This combined with top notch support means I spend far less time wondering how to configure TN or how to fix an issue I've come across than if I used AHKs and PlaceMint.

Auto opening of waitlisted tables, with the auto-open threshold is golden!

Lastly, could you add

to the next release of TableNinja? That would make it perfect!

Thanks for the "no snap back" option,
Updating takes a couple of minutes , sometimes i want to play straight away, can you allow an update to be declined for a while ?
Any chance of the 'saving current Hand History' option? - it would help when stacking.

I have the full version for a while now but for some reason it wont open for me today at all.

When I click the icon on my desktop, a grey rectangle appears on my screen before an outline of the program appears with the version (1.2.13.0) appearing in the blue header but inside the blue border is just white. My screen then flickers for a few seconds before it then closes down automatically.

When I tried to open it for the first time tonight, I got a pop-up from Online Armor saying that C:\ProgramFiles\TableNinja\TableNinja.exe wants to remotely control C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe - I clicked the ok to allow this.
It doesnt seem to be working since then. The new version worked fine for me since I downloaded it yesterday(or a few days ago?).

Is there a way to have TN make you sit out if the number of players gets below 5? And then sit back in once the table fills up again?

Disregard this-- apparently the problem was caused by the custom background image that I used for the HyperSimple theme.
