Out of curiousity, how long do people have to wait for games in the $60 level, typically? Can you get 4 tables running consistently?

4 tables never ever possible. U do get like 1-2 tables with waiting times. If u are lucky and some people rematch u a lot u can get like 3 tables up.

I would prefer if stars would implement this.

Probably he doesn`t care cozz most of SS users are typical boohumterz.

Of course +1

im afraid of sit declining too.. you can sit decline someone then take a 3min break and come back and ur already exploiting it in an annoying way

+1 tho

Is it already possible to see who's ahead of you in the waiting list and instantly sit them?

IMO, that'd be a much better solution - and effectively make it very similar to Full Tilt's current system. Of course, that would quickly clear the lobby from the weakest bum-hunting regs because they would instantly get sat by stronger regs.

I think this would be the ideal solution

Have a list of everyone in the queue, at any time someone can pick to play a person in the queue and next lobby that opens they get registered vs each other

Definetly +1

Why it cant be as much lobies as it is on the cash tables?
I guess there wouldnt be any queues, and we wouldnt need to use any "sharkies".

Cause infinite lobbies looks like a predatory environment to fish. Imagine fish, comes to lobbies looking for game and there are 20 tables open, you think fish aren't thinking "hey, why are these guys not playing one another?" and then deciding its probably a bad idea to sit? Inifinite lobbies would do nothing for the health of the game, and wouldn't help anyones hourly.

def. def. would like sit 2nd / get next lobby.

So, is that scenario in the cash games?

Isn't it even more predatory if they ever learn that there's a tool that has been specifically designed to squeeze the most money out of them?

And if they really care enough to observe lobbies and think about what's going on - wouldn't some huge alarm bells go off when they see that apparently some people sit there for 5-10 minutes or even longer without getting any action, but whenever they sit they get sat immediately within half a second?

On Full Tilt, which has infinite lobbies, even fish sometimes get to sometimes opensit for a few minutes because not all regs constantly scan all the lobbies.

Another problem with Stars's system is that even fish may not want to play against anybody, though it's probably more a question of whether or not they "like that guy" rather than skill related. But if some guy is opensitting that they hate and they also don't like the next guy and the one after him, then they probably get frustrated and quit. On FT, they have a large variety of different regs to choose from.

No, in cash games people will simply sit out and decline action if you're half-way decent. This actually allows a lot more weaker regs to sit first and wait for fish because they don't risk anything: if a better player joins them, then they can just simply sit out immediately. Whereas in a husng, they actually have to play that person.

Only if he uses that feature too.

Something comparable can quickly be programmed imo. Instead of the algorithm going over the tables, it also goes over the list. If someone found; both quickly will be seated together.

Fun part; regs know that it is worthless to sit regs that are equally good or better. Therefore they are not that worried about this feature because everyone almost always overestimate their skill level. This resulting in not significant changing sales for any new users. We will only see a drop in sales from current users that are indeed hunted & that refuse to go down.
