everything takes so long to load lately im trying to use setup assistant to weed out all the duplicates so when get hands when playing goes quicker but it doesnt even do that anymore nothing works on my pt4 and it comes after i switch dbs the important hud stats that i need disappear when switching from one db to another and i dunno why it happens theyre very small

when you click the notes on your HUD and pick a colour for the player, it only adds an outline of the colour around the top HUD box, is there a way to make either a new box that you can fill with a colour, or get it to surround all my hud boxes?

For the last week my pt4 has been importing hands very slowly, all the hands from the day before don't fully import until the next day and I think it misses a lot. My hud is also not working. I had a message pop up saying something about having a lot of hands to import, when I click ok it seems to work again for a few mins and then stop. Any idea what it could be?

That's not currently possible but if you want to be automatically notified if this functionality is added in a future update then you can let us know in a Support Ticket.

I understand that there is no pt4 support for BetOnline/Chico Poker network.... is there anything that can be done in order for the BOL card catcher to import results/prize pools correctly into pt4?

Any communication between pt4 and BOL catcher?

We do not support converted hands and are not in contact with third party hand converters but for any tournaments with incorrect data you can update the information manually using the Tournament Results window.

You can download rakeback statistics to use in your reports/graphs from our Download Warehouse.*What statistic you need depends on what type of rakeback deal you have - take a look at the rakeback statistics and see which is closest to your deal. You can tweak the values if the calculations don't match exactly.*Once you have downloaded any statistics you need to import them via 'Configure -> Statistics -> Options -> Import' to make them available for your reports/graph and to view rakeback in your graphs take a look at the tutorial video on the Graphs page (the green "?" icon).

Does PT4 import and track ACR/Carbon without any hassle?

ACR and Carbon do not provide tournament summary information in their hand history files and until they do there are no results for PokerTracker 4 to import. For single table tournaments we can usually infer the prizes from the tournament structure and buy-ins, but that isn't possible for multi table tournaments. For any tournaments with incorrect data you can update the information manually but for ACR you can also save this information to your computer from the ACR lobby and then import that into PokerTracker 4 - see this guide for details.

hello Rob,

I just purchased PT4 to play poker on a mac system. for a hm2 user, the pt4 hud seem quite big, taking up a lot of space. so, I wish to know if and how can I get rid of the names of the stat, like VP PR 3BET etc, and only show the numbers.

after playing a while, we all know which position is what (VP PR 3BET etc), and I feel this could be removed to save space. I look at the hud option and profile, but cannot figure out how to do it.

Go to 'HUD -> Edit HUD Profiles' and select your HUD profile. Next select the VPIP stat and then you can remove the prefix under the 'Item Properties' for the stat. If you want to reduce the size of the HUD further then you can also change the size of the font in for all stats in the HUD group by clicking the first stat in the Group Items list in the HUD Editor and then shift-clicking the last. Now you can change the font of all the selected stats at once. You can also make the font any size you like so if the font doesn't show you the size you want you can always type a smaller number although some fonts don't behave well at very small sizes. You could also try changing the font used as some fonts are smaller than others.

Thanks a lot! that is very helpful. Another question though, I adjusted the hud layout and saved it. but the next time I start PS and open the table, same poker site of PS, the layout is gone, and back to the default layout.

Is there any other place like Configuration or HUD Options that I should check to save the hud layouts? I kinda like to move the hud away from near the table to the corners, to make it look more spacious.

How do I check my cbet flop IP and cbet flop OOP?

Are you refering to the layouts or the HUD profile?

To move the panels of the HUD you´re currently using you can click control+mouse to move them around, once you´re done remember clicking on the PT4 logo and select Save Layout so you dont have to do it again on a new table.

You can either create those stats and load them into a Player Report or just create a HUD profile and add flop cbet and andd the IP and OOP condition in the item properties and checkout a hand in the replayer loading that HUD profile.

I'm using a fresh, fully updated windows with the newest PT version and the recommended postgres on a samsung ssd which is not faulty according to HDD Sentinel. From the very first moment my import speed is around 18 hands/s. I tried now to only import a few sessions but after importing with 30-40 for a few minutes now it's back again at 18..
Any idea what could cause this?

What are the specific HUD stat names for Villain's fold to 3! there are 2 stats idk which one it is?

Also what are the specific stat names for Villain's flop x-raise and raise IP vs a bet?

There are more than 2 actually if we take into account both preflop and postflop play but im guessing you´re refering to preflop so the most common ones are...

Fold to PF 3Bet (Same stat name)
Fold to PF 3Bet After Raise (2Bet PF & Fold)
Fold to PF 3Bet After Steal (Steal PF & Fold)


The differences are the first one if the global more generic one as it counts for all the folds when facing a 3bet.
The second ones isolates the folds when facing a preflop 3bet only when the active player was the last raiser (not necessarily the original open raiser).
And the last one takes only into account the times active player folded to a preflop 3bet after he made a steal attempt.


Raise F Float

Is it a bet or a cbet? If it was a bet wasit on the flop or in the turn after a miss cbet by the preflop aggressor?

Raise F Cbet and you can set the IP or the OOP condition in the item properties in the HUD Editor.
If we´re talking about the preflop aggressor checking back the turn and facing a bet on the turn (this would be a probe bet) then we´re talking about "Raise T Probe".

If you mean folding to preflop 3Bets then there are three built-in stats as xPISCIVOROUSx mentioned. The most commonly used one is 'Fold to PF 3Bet After Raise' which tells you how often a player folds to a 3Bet given that they made the first raise (2bet) in the hand.

That's going to depend on the specific situation you want to count. Is this all versus all bets, vs cbets only or something else? There is a generic check raise flop stat called 'Check Raise Flop' which counts all check raises vs bets and cbets. For IP raises vs any bet you can use '2Bet Flop' and set the 'Has Position' property to 'In Postion On Flop' in the HUD Profile Editor or you can use the 'Raise F CBet' statistic if you only want raises vs Cbets (still setting the position property to 'In Position On Flop'). Also if you go to 'Configure -> Statistics' in PokerTracker 4 you can select any built-in stat and then view a description and formula for it on the 'Details' tab.
