- Short name on digit nicks are not working



- Some UTG hands are reported as "UTG+1" position in Merge 6max tables leading to 7 different positions



Oh, and please reconsider doing something with the note tags in the HUD, they are killing me I mean, if you look at the size and colors when you assign them it's easy to spot the difference etc, they are great. But in the HUD sizing is too small and the colors are hard to see.

I submitted a ticket on this a few days back. Looking at the hand histories associated with these hands, this appears to arise in hands where someone is sitting out or there is a dead button or blind, which seems to screw up PT4's identification of the positions.

The Merge positions issue has been addressed for the next release.
The numeric player name issue has been reported to the development team, and the request for more obvious note colouring has been made before but I'm not sure what will be done about that yet.

Sessions are overlapping each other, causing the total hours played to be totally wrong. Played one site, one nickname, two limits.

Also, I can only open one player note at the time when playing, this needs a fix

i was also annoyed bu that but then i found that if you put the cursor on the note icon, the notes appear as a tooltip, no need to open them. Convenient till we have a fix that allows multiple notes opening. HTH

Any news on PT4 release date?

As soon as it is ready, it will be released. We've got quite a few known issues that we need to fix before we feel comfortable making a public release.

These are both known issues that we are working to resolve.

We have some plans here which we will implement eventually but first we need to focus on getting our known issues (like those you mentioned above) fixed.

Could you attach those hand histories to a support ticket on our website for us? Once we have examples of these kinds of things it helps considerably in figuring out what exactly we need to do to fix it - what you are seeing is certainly not the desired behavior.

Can you move the hud lines up a bit (1/2 inch) for the 9 seat tables on the Merge network? As is, the hud covers the chat/info/stats tabs so we can't click on them. (Or maybe there is a way for me to move the lines up? New to huds.) Thank you.

You can move stuff around if you hold ctrl key and then click and drag using left mouse button.

On PT3 I could find results vs. a specific player. How do I do this on PT4? Thank you

What method were you using in PT3?

In PT4 you could add the player to your player list and switch to their statistics, or, if you used a custom report in PT3, you could use a custom report in PT4 - though of course then you need to edit the filter when you want to switch players.

I used the tab - "vs a player". Anyways, how do I do it in a custom report? Thanks in advance

You'd need to know the individual player you want to look at for a custom report. Create a Player report on the My Reports page and click the blue Filters link after you've added whatever data you want to see and add the following text to filter for a player with the name Villain:

tourney_hand_player_statistics.id_hand in (SELECT thps.id_hand from tourney_hand_player_statistics thps, player p where thps.id_player = p.id_player and p.player_name = 'Villain')

Note that you do need the single quotes around the name.

I'm not certain why the Hero vs Villain report was not brought over to the tournament side in PT4 but I'll see what I can find out on that score for you.

C'mon make it faster!! you don't have to make it bugfree. Whenever it has fewer bug than HM2, you can released it. Otherwise you will lose momentum!

Tools - NoteTracker. Select the status button, and the respective cash or tournament button. The click Purge.
PS: The interface for NoteTracker is not complete yet, its one of the things we are working on in the Beta.



PT4 is still a beta application, that functionality has not ben added yet. It is planned, and will be added soon.

Thousands upon thousands of potential PokerTracker 4 users disagree with you, they want a working application that will not interfere with their online poker workflow, not something that is riddled with bugs. I can assure you that we are contacted by people every week who want to wait until PT4 is out of beta because they do not want to use an application with bugs. With that said, hunting for bugs is just a small part of what remains to be completed before we release PT4, we still have new interface design to be added and new features that are planned - that is why we will not release PT4 before it's time.

PS: Don't be so concerned with momentum, this is not in a race, we do not win a prize for being first across the finish line. PokerTracker is 10 years old, we are already thinking about plans for when we turn 20... think big, think long term!

Yeah, that would be incredible. Maybe we can work on some custom stats for this if they don't include them.

You can see your hourly rate in the Results > Overview report if you select Advanced and By Session or by Date for example.
To see average length of a game (do you mean table session?) you'd need a custom stat - please start a new thread in the PT4 forum on the PokerTracker website where we'll be able to help you in more detail.
