Does anyone have a solution for "Sit Me Here" problem. I want to sit at the same seat position every table, but that means I have to manually move to that seat, then the PT4 HUD stays in the same spot, and it is a PAIN IN A** realigning all the HUDs on 15 FR tables.

I suggest adding a "Rotate Hud" option, then it would only take a few clicks to rotate to the correct position you chose

Unable to login to database (postgres). Reason: server closed the connection unexpectedly This probably means the server terminated abnormally before or while processing the request.

Its extremely frustrating since I NEED to grind to reach my VPP goal, it happens during session, where its stops importing, please advice what steps to take, to solve this.

I'm confused with how PT4 is supposed to be configured on a second computer. I got a new laptop and followed the guide from Support to uninstall on my old comp and install on the new one. PT4 on the new comp. contains none of the data I had. Is it a separate process to import the database or how does this work?

PokerTracker4 can you please make a "Rotate HUD" arrow buttons either in the main HUD overlay , or in the HUD table options like your competitor has PLEASE! Such an easy fix for the biggest sites traffic wise that don't offer preferred seating. (Seat me Here) is the only thing you can do and then have to manually move HUDs

Most sites these days have preferred seat or auto center options and if you use that and configure the same setting in PT4 then the Hud will line up automatically, but 'sit me here' adjustments are not supported.

This often means that security software is blocking PostgreSQL, although there could be some other issue with your PostgreSQL config too.

To transfer your database and settings make a Backup on your old computer and restore it on the new one after you install PT4.

So can Pokertracker4 add a "rotate Hud" feature? I'm shopping HUDs right now and doing free trials, HM2 has a "rotate Hud" feature. I like PT4 interface better, but it comes down to usability for me. Sell me why I should choose PT4 over HM2, since I only play at a site with "sit me here" seating. Actually a number of your competitors have this option. Holdem Indicator as well

The development team are aware of this request but it isn't something I anticipate being added in the short term.

Hi, I think I am going to switch to pt4 for 2016 from HEM.

I play on WPN. Is there a way to make the jackpot sng's show up with no rake? Right now it looks like they consider the $40 jackpot sng's a $37.60+$2.40 and if you win, it only counts it as winning $72.80 and not $80. Is there a way for me to make it count a win as +$80? TIA

When doing color ranges is there any way to add in number of hands?

E.g if VPIP is >x with >y amount of hands, then etc.

You can edit tournament results via the Edit Tournament Results button in the left hand sidebar of PT4 when you're in the View Stats -> Results area. Alternately you can right click any report with one tournament per row and click Edit Tournament and edit the results for that tournament.

That said if we are not properly detecting the results please send us the hand history via our support system so that we can investigate whether we can improve our detection in these cases.

Not in the Color Ranges section of the HUD, but you can do this via the Configure -> Statistics -> Colors section. Note though that due to site restrictions colors added in this way will not function on Full Tilt or PokerStars.

Hello,

You can build a custom stat to track your rewards if they are based on a percentage of rake, however most sites now use additional personal metrics making it impossible for us to build anything general (and for many sites, impossible for you to even track your own results as it's based on an unknown factor).

That said, if you have all of the relevant information about how it is calculated you can build this as a custom statistic and put it on your graph. See this guide for the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide for a deeper walkthrough. The latter was written for PT3 but the techniques all apply to PT4, the interface is just slightly different.

There are also a few custom stats in our download warehouse for free download that work in this general fashion and they may be a good starting point for you (just search for rakeback).

No - PT4 gets its information from the hand history file which is written when each hand completes and it doesn't know anything about the progress of each hand.

When manually importing hands from disk is there any way to avoid importing all of the duplicates? I have been manually importing hands from bovada for the last few months and now the hands are really starting to add up, as well as the time it takes to import.

any suggestions for plo setup? also, whats are good/bad vpip stats for plo...over ou60?

Duplicates aren't imported, they're ignored, but to avoid them just import the new hand history files. You'll only see duplicates if you import files which have already been imported.

You may want to check the strategy forums for discussions like this, although you can get a rough guide to how the average winning player's stats look by using the LeakTracker tab (for cash games only).

You could try reinstalling the same version of PostgreSQL again - as long as you don't delete your 'data' folder that will just update the installation but keep the same databases.

Since acquiring PT i've had a decent amount of problems, all of which are now either fixed or managable. I have one hinder left, being that FT's on Winamax consistently don't show a PT hud. This is not a problem on general Winamax tables or Pokerstars. Any clue what it might be?

Please restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then report it via our support system with the log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find that file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.

If you could include a hand history as well that would be a big help. We'll need to see the log to be able to figure out why the HUD isn't displaying for you.
