Another Nit ....

In the Pop-up for the hud, the agression Frequency needs a space between the label and the value.

What is your preference? Would you like things posted here at 2+2, or in the PT4 Beta Preview thread on the Pokertracker forum?

Thanks

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.24) Hero has 3 3

UTG raises to $0.32, Hero calls $0.32, fold, fold, BB calls $0.16

Flop: ($1.04, 3 players) 8 Q 7
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($1.04, 3 players) 3
BB bets $0.32, UTG calls $0.32, Hero raises to $3.24, BB calls $2.92, fold

River: ($7.84, 2 players) 5
BB bets $10.46 and is all-in, Hero calls $10.46

My rebuys are not accounted for. strange but true.. the $22cubed for example says $62, which is correct.

The $109r says $109, which is not correct since I payed $309.

There's a bug in the Pokerstars software... check out the Pokertracker forum for a fix.

Some background. During the install I told setup that I played on CAKE Poker and Pokerstars.

I received a message "Did not detect Cake Poker" and "Cake Poker does not appear to be installed". The Hand History location did not appear to be set correctly. It was set to "C:\Users\doug\AppData\Local\CPN\Cake\Hand History". I selected browse to point it to "C:\Users\doug\AppData\Local\CPN\Cake\Hand History\<email deleted>\HH\".

Today I played my 1st (and 2nd) tournament. The import did not start. It did not seem to be watching the Cake location. (It was watching for Pokerstars files and found 0 to monitor). When I added "C:\Users\doug\AppData\Local\CPN\Cake\Hand History\<email deleted>\HH\" on the Cake import configuration, it found Cake files to watch for.

HUD worked great.

I have completed 2 tournaments.

I think I have 2 issues:
(1) If I view Active Tables, it still shows the second tournament as active.
(2) View Today's Hands is blank. Selecting a different # of hands, I see it flash "Loading" followed by "populating". No data is ever seen.

This is my import history:

08:10:14 pm: Cake: Processing Tournament #10668188.
So it looks like it has fully processed both tournaments.

Another question. Under Poker Sites & Networks, If I highlight Pokerstars, it enables the "Launch" button. Should the same thing happen for Cake? Is that related to the messages I received as described above?

Thanks

Ignore this question. I missed that $ was selected instead of "T". Selecting the correct table type shows the correct data. Sorry.

It seems like PT4 doesn't support NL30 stake on OnGame. Graph shows correct number of hands and winnings, but Overview and table at the bottom lack results from NL30.

Report "All-in Equity Adjusted" shows nothing (blank tables).

What site do you play at?
Please attach a few example hand history files to a support ticket on the PokerTracker website so that we can investigate.
Thanks.

Didn't you say you'd open the beta for everyone this month to test as they please ?
I see 0 invites and on the site says :

To prepare for your beta invite, make sure that you have a PokerTracker website account and your PT3 registration code as they are both required to receive a PT4 Beta registration code.
You also said I don't need PT3 code to test PT4.

Now I need to follow facebook and twitter ?? F$$K that crap!!! Why can't you be normal and put it on YOUR OWN site FIRST for easy access, not follow crap around on anything but your site. I understand the function of more sources but MAIN SOURCE for codes should FIRST be your site.
Give me a useful link!!

You're making it quite hard for new customers with all the postponing to actually test and like your product to buy it in the near future.

Hand history files are read from subfolders too, so having it set to "C:\Users\doug\AppData\Local\CPN\Cake\Hand History" should work fine - that's how my Cake configuration is set.

(2) To see your tournament hands click the "T" instead of the "$" to the right of the button bar at the top.

Launch isn't supported for all sites. I hope it will be possible to add this for all supported sites at some point, but there could be technical reasons why this doesn't happen.

"2bet" refers specifically to the first raise, like "3bet" is the 2nd raise (first re-raise). "Raise" could mean any raise.

By default they are moved to the 'Processed' folder in the user data folder - you can access this from the PT4 File menu > Open User Data Folder.

Just curious (enjoying PT4b as far as I've been able to find time for in the last 2 days): how do we interpret the luck bell curve graph? If I'm "very unlucky" in the sets category, does that mean I've had few than would be statistically expected, or that I've lost more often than would be expected?

I believe it is how many have been dealt, but Kraada will be able to confirm this for you when he comes on.

Thanks, that would make sense. Results are influenced by decisions, eg not folding a small set on a 4-flush board, instead stacking off.

On another issue, is it possible to limit the range of hands used in Leaks Analysis with filters? Eg, if I wanted to look at my performance in the last 6 months rather than lifetime at "low stakes". And why can we only limit it to "low" and "high" stakes? Yet to be developed functionality, or a conscious decision?

Why does the programme convert all the different currencies into one? It's one of the things I hate about Holdem Manager and now Pokertracker does it too. Is it possible to turn that 'feature' off?

We do plan to allow date filtering of LeakTracker, but I don't know when that will be added. I'm sure that splitting into just low stakes and high stakes was a conscious decision - the ranges have been analysed in detail to give recommended values, and the more the stakes were split up the less data our experts would have had for each type, and the more time it would have taken to get good values for all cases.

If you play in multiple currencies a sum of different numeric values doesn't really make sense, so you have the option to view stats converted to your own currency.
There are "Game Currency" versions of the stats, though, which show results in the currency the games were played (other than the totals, because that doesn't make sense for multiple currencies).
If you only play in a single currency and set your global currency to the same as you play in then the values will be equivalent.
If you want to look at results in a "pure" way then you could use the BB stats instead to see your winnings in terms of the number of big blinds (or big bets for FL).

i haven't had enough time to test it. But overall impression is "GOOD" vs PT3 "OK".
I'm very happy with the overall performance gain i observed on the same VM (virtualbox) vs PT3. I did noticed that hard drive is working "harder", but it maybe due to one of my cron jobs running @ the same time. I'll look into this later.
I'll put a detailed list of the things i observed later next week.

But for now a few quick questions:
a. to adjust the amount won/lost - do i still have to create a hand history file?
b. documentation - is it ready or i still have to ask my noobs questions here and waste your guys time?
c. (loaded q ) what are the financial arrangements - do i have to buy pt3 now or the price for PT4 will be the same ($50) for public beta testers?

Thank you.
Andrew

(a) We do not have a manual entry for hands at this point, so if you want to track hands that PT4 does not support you will need to create hand histories that we can import.
(b) We are working hard on it but it is not yet ready - what sorts of issues are you having trouble with?
(c) If you buy PT3 now, the upgrade to PT4 will be free for you. We have not yet released upgrade pricing for people who cannot take advantage of the free upgrade.
