If you're not using the latest version 3.11.3 Beta please update.
Other than that please check the FAQ: PT3 HUD in the FAQs and Tutorials forum on the PokerTracker website which has solutions to common issues and a link to how to report your problem for further investigation if it doesn't help.

Many thanks
I replied to [what I assume was] your duplicate post on the PokerTracker forum.

You can add stats to any of the built-in reports (except "Details"), but the All-In EV stats are only currently available for individual hands so can't be added to reports showing session results.

guys, PT3 just informed me that a new version is available. i downloaded and installed it. when i run it, PT3 says my registration code is invalid. it then lets me run in a "2 day trial mode."

strangely, the version identifies itself as 3.11.4 alpha.

it's friday night. this is not good, guys.

Anyone having this issue, download the beta again from the download page. Be sure to delete the original download file so that you get the new one from the server. The new download should work properly.

From your edit it looks like you found the solution.
If you want more info there is a tutorial about exporting in the FAQs and Tutorials section of the forum on the PokerTracker website.

Why have you sent me two mails claiming that I tried to recover my password?
Are you guys under attack or something? Does not look like a standard phishing mail.

Please create a support ticket on the PokerTracker website and paste the content of the emails that you received and we will investigate.
Thanks.

Hands are not being tracked nor is Hud working on locker poker. Yes, I updated to newest version Any help is appreciated.

I don't see "locker poker" - do you mean Lock Poker?
That is on the Merge network so please read the Merge Configuration Guide in the Documentation on the PokerTracker website.

If you continue to have problems please start a new thread in the tech support forum on the PokerTracker website and we'll be able to help you in more detail than is possible in a thread like this.

Ok I've tried search etc and have a very simple (prob answered 1000's of times already, sorry in advance) question.
If im not using the HUD etc do i need to auto-import during a session or can I just import at the end of the session...does this create any problems?

The PostgreSQL installer has not yet been updated for Lion so you will need to install it manually. There is a sticky thread about this in the PokerTracker 3 > General forum on the PokerTracker website or you can search for installation instructions on the web.

Manual Import after the session will work just fine if you don't want the HUD or stats while you play.
Just be sure to have the housekeeping options ticked so that the database is kept optimized for best performance.

I have PT3 v 3.11.5 Beta installed on my mac, my problem is that my HUD for my account, is located wherever the button starts, obviously I dont start the button every game and it is rather frustrating to move the HUD around to match the players.. Any fix for this?

Please read the "Preferred Seating" tutorial in the FAQs & Tutorials section of the forums on the PokerTracker website - the information there is relevant whether or not you use preferred seating and should get things sorted out for you.
If not please start a new thread in the PokerTracker and we'll help you get things sorted out.

Hi, I am having a problem with importing merge tourneys. Every time I call an all in and lose most but not all of my stack, it won't import any more hands or the tourney info, from that hand on(in that tourney).

Have you heard of this problem?

Anyone else have problems with PT3? I bought it yesterday and when running it my computer heats up. I have 3g of ram and my laptop heats up to 60c when running PT3.

I can play about 8-10 tables, but any more and it is incredibly laggy and basically I can't use it.

I have PostgreSQL 9.0.

Please create a support request and attach some of those hand histories to it so that we can investigate further - this is the first I've heard of this particular issue.

What version of PT3 are you currently using? If you're not using our latest beta, you should try upgrading to that version as that may help. PT3 is going to use your system resources to some extent though in order to perform its functions which is always going to result in some amount of extra heat .

Hey,

Even when I import hands I'm getting temperatures on my laptop that hit close to 60c and a CPU usage of 75-90%+. That doesn't sound right at all. Is there any way to deal with this? =/
09-09-2011 , 04:10 AM
It very much depends on your computer - if you're multitabling there will be constant activity and the hard disk will be in use all the time. If your CPU or hard disk are slower they could be working quite hard.

Im having a problem where on occasion, the results of my SnGs are not recorded correctly in PT3..

For example.

I played a 50$, 6 max, DoN on Merge. I won, however in PT3 it records it as a net loss of 54$, and is saying that the place I finished in was 0. This has also happened to 4 other, 10$ DoNs, they are being recorded as losses, even if I finished in the top 3 for the money. And are automatically recorded as me placing "0"

I have over 100 DoNs logged in PT3 already and haven't had this problem.

Is there a way to filter out a player?
I want to be able to see my profit/EV graph, but against 1 player in specific I always flip, so I want to filter out those stats/results since they aren't relevant.
Thanks in advance.

I'm on RPM. I have set the preferred seating correctly both on RPM and PT. The boxes align with the correct players in all my 6 max tourneys but on the 9 seat tables, the PT boxes always align with where RPM sits me originally, i.e. as if I did not have preferred seating on within the RPM client. I have literally mix and matched every which way and can't figure out how to fix this. Any advice?

One possible cause of this that we see semi-regularly with Merge hands is an error in the hand history where a player is recorded as posting a zero blind - this seems to happen more regularly when that puts the player all-in. If that happens then the hand won't be imported (because it is invalid) and if that is the last hand of the tournament (as often happens) then PT3 doesn't have all the information it needs to determine the results.
Please attach the hand history file to a support ticket on the PokerTracker website and we'll check it out for you.

That isn't possible as a general filter in PT3.
If you're playing heads-up we could probably design a custom report to give you the sort of info that you want, but for multi-way games determining exactly who you won and lost money from is somewhat tricky to define. If you want to look into this further please start a new thread in the forum on the PokerTracker website where we'll be able to go into more detail.

Please make sure that you have the Adjust Qualifying Tables Limits option enabled in the Auto Import > Preferences so that PT3 knows the table size (Merge do not specify table sizes in their hand histories), and that you have specified your preferred seat for both 6 and 9 seat tables (it's a separate configuration in PT3).
Other than that please read the tutorial on preferred seating in the FAQs and Tutorials section of the forum on the PokerTracker website, and in particular the Troubleshooting section.
