That should work - once you build the complex filter in the main Filters window, you can save it by typing something in the Description box (at the lower right) and clicking Save Filter. Then you can load that filter up quickly and easily later.

I have some hand histories from Pokerstars in text files. Could somebody please tell me what's the best way to get these in PT3.

Go to the Import -> Manual Import Tab. Click Import From File. Choose the files in question (if you have them in a dedicated directory you could use import from directory and selected the directory). Click Import, and they'll be imported.

Thanks, but it seems I didn't made myself clear. I have some observed hands from Poker Stars and I copy paste them in Word pad. Is it possible to get them in PT3?

hi, i just got pt3, but can not get hud to appear, it says it will appear automatically but it doesnt. i have already auto imported all my hand histories.
I know this is pretty basic stuff, help would be appreciated

The HUD is fully configurable, and you can split the stats and lines up however you like. To start a new line add the Special Stat "new line".

You can't see your own stats in the HUD at Rush tables due to the way that Rush sessions work. We do hope to be able to add this at some point, but given that you play different players every hand you don't really have a "table image" so your own stats aren't much use to you while playing - you can always see your own stats in the main tracker for analysis.

I just bought pt3 for party poker and tested it in a HUsng. Can it be you calculate the rake wrong? If so, can i fix this manual?

I played a $20,50 +$1,50 HUsng and won. So i got $41 for the win which means $19 profit.

PT3 says i won $40 and made $18 profit.





So they think its a $20 +$2 i guess. But its not. Can i change this to make sure in the future they calculate it right?

It looks like we do think it's a 20+2 - you can edit the tournament directly via the Tournaments --> Enter Holdem Results window. Please also attach the original hand history to a support ticket so that we can make sure that we fix this so that it imports properly for everyone in the future in these situations.

ok, first i want to say i suck at computers,

i was playing around and deleted some important folders and had to get my laptop reformated, lucky i have my pt3 data on a usb drive, well i think i do, did i copy the right folder?

i copied the folder called processed and after i got my laptop fixed i imported from that folder,

i am missing around 70,000 hands just on my ps name, ive played at least 30,000 hands of plo8 alone and my total omaha graph is 20,000 hands, the sng's and tourney seem right but cash game data is way off, and i didnt even look at the other sites i have played on yet.

when i did the new download i downloaded 3.11.2 BETA, i was using 3.10 when the data was right

so did i copy the wrong folder?
should i download 3.10?


please help

The "Processed" folder is the right folder - as long as you hadn't moved or deleted any files from there yourself then everything that was auto imported into PT3 should be there.
If you had any HH files saved anywhere else and had done a manual import then those files wouldn't have been moved to "Processed" automatically.
Did you get any errors when you did the import? Are there any subfolders? If so, did you import from directory with the include subfolders option enabled?

If the hand history files aren't there, then no version of PT3 will be able to import them and you will need to request the missing histories from your site.

For future reference, you might want to make regular Backups of your database(s) and settings, as you would for any other important documents.

When I play tournies on WilliamHill (Ipoker) if I get moved table then the HUD stops working, so I have to stop auto-import and then restart for the HUD to appear. This isn't a major problem although a bit inconvenient. Is there a way to fix this?

Also, when I play Rush I don't get stats for myself. Is this standard?

When you are moved to a new table iPoker do not write the new table number to the hand history file so PT3 cannot find the new table window. If you close and reopen the table or stop/start the import it will force it to create a new file with the correct table number and the HUD can then find the right window.

You do not get stats for yourself at Rush tables due to the way that Rush sessions work. Your own "table image" is much less relevant at Rush tables because no-one has seen all the hands that you have played. We do hope to be able to add this at some point, but I don't know when that will be.

Another question, it seems when I play tournaments on Ipoker that the BI's and results end up being pretty mangled from the truth in PT3, eg; tournies with rebuys and addons end up recording a total BI above what the actual total was.
I have a tool called tournament updater from propokerlabs and I just renewed subscription but it is still failing to amend my results. I think i can opt for a refund within 30 days if their software is useless to me.
I've just moved there from FTP and Stars. Am I right in thinking that tournament updates on the two big sites became automatic? And although I know you don't represent propokerlabs do you think I should get a refund?

What version of PT3 do you have? There was a fix fairly recently for iPoker rebuys IIRC, so if you're not using v3.11.2 Beta please update.

If you still have the problem there please compress and attach an example hand history file for a tournament to a Support ticket and detail the problem (how many rebuys you made, what PT3 shows, etc) so that we can investigate.

Both Full Tilt and PokerStars now save tournament summary files to your computer, and PT3 imports these so your results should be accurate there.

Playing on RPM/Merge. I still cannot get my HUD to accurately put the boxes on the correct players. I have mix and matched with almost every possibility. I have to manually move the boxes everytime. My stat box opens at a different position everytime I start a new tourney or get moved to a new table. Any advice?
