Lag Sufferers: Please Read This
We've decided that a cache is needed to solve the performance problem of the Hud. The fact is, if you have a dozen or more tables open, PT3 is doing hundreds of queries every few minutes. These queries, while they don't take much time individually, are creating too much strain on your computers as a whole. The cache will improve this very similar to how the cache in PA Hud does.
That's the good news. The bad news is that I unfortunately don't have time to add this feature before commercial release next week. It is a very high priority though and I will be getting to it ASAP. Likely by the end of the month.

(6 tables total)...When you add the Omaha and stud sections, would it
be possible to link this MT stat to ALL tables, including tourn and cash games?
I can't really comment on this since I'm not sure how the different game sections will interact with each other yet.

Check out the documentation on our site on the custom statistics.

the current way the HUD works makes multitabling with overlap (cascade) impossible
What site are you playing on?

For example I have a lot of hands on somebody. On one table it shows i have about 200 hands, and on another there's ~500. Obviously this causes stat errors. How do I fix this?
Are you using player ranges? What about the filter for current limit?

The Fold SB/BB problem is known and will be fixed.

I was runnng AHK-Stars Planner, PT3, Stars ONLY at the time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
No tables:
AHK 2-5
PT3 0
System Idle 92-94
------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 Tables
AHK 6 - 9
PT3 Mostly 1 - 2 , spiked as high as 16
Stars 0 - 4
------------------------------------------------------------------------
4 Tables
AHK 22
PT3 Mostly 0 - 5, Periodically bouncing between 10--19--27--39
Stars 0 - 4
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
6 Tables
AHK 24
PT3 Mostly 0 - 8, periodically bouncing between 10 -- 22 -- 24 -- 50
Stars 2 - 6
There seemed to be lag when tables were being written to and stats updated, lasting up to 4 seconds
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
8 Tables
AHK was about 24
Stars was about 3 - 7
PT3 Bounced eratically any where from 24 to 58
Lag seemed significant, lasting from up to 8 seconds.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
At this point I had about 150 hands. I then closed a couple tables and plaed for a little while longer. At about 225 hands, stats started disappearing from about 1/2 the tables.
I stopped the HUD and CPU use dropped to very little. Imports seem flawless, but HUD seems to complicate things
I made a copy of my Log file, it is 26000K in size.
System is: 4.3 Ghz Intel w/MultiThread
2Gig Memory
200+ SATA Hard Drive
Dual Dell 2001FP
Dual head video card
Thanks for the information. Please zip your log file and attach it to a support ticket along with the contents of your message here.

I've tested the latest beta on everest tonight.
The application is really impressive but there are some problems to fix.
Fold BB to steal and Fold SB to steal stats are always = 0
The hud is fantastic. I managed to build a cool layout pretty quickly. It would be nice to be able to manage all sorts of layouts, for different rooms, heads up/6 max/full ring tables, etc.
It works fine during play but sometimes some stats disappear for no reason.
The replayer crashes the application once every other hand.
Ability to differentiate heads up/6 max/FR table is really necessary.
Biggest problem is that the app seems to freeze after something like 30/45 minutes of play. Hands are not imported anymore, hud is still working fine but the only choice is to kill the process and restart PT3...
We will be adding profiles to the Hud, which will allow you to create separate layouts however you want them.
The replayer will be getting major changes soon, as well as the ability to mark sessions as 6 max and 2 max.
The Hud performance problems should be fixed with the above mentioned cache.

Yes. In the Hud Stat Config window, go to the Hud Options tab and check off the databases you want the Hud to read from.

PT Icon -> Config Stats -> Group tab -> Select Default Popup group -> Stats tab -> edit.
