Played tourneys on Stars today using Shortcuts for the first time (long-time FT Shortcuts user). When I can play both sites using the same software I might just Jizz in My Pants.

fulltiltshortcuts is no longer available, you have to go with pokershortcuts beta 4 for free trial, which you cant multi-table with.

Do the people that bought full tilt short cuts in 2008-2009 have to pay for Poker Shortcuts after the final version will be released after the beta? Will we get some key or we have to pay for a new one?(NOT Temp key, after the beta)

It's posts like this that keep developers from giving any kind of timeframes. If it comes out later, it does. If it comes out Monday, it does. Hell, anything before next weekend would be great.

He said he didn't mean to be rude. I think we're all just anxious. nano has done a spectacular job keeping everyone in the loop and for that I'm very thankful and I think everyone is. I can't imagine he's had much sleep since this update.

Same with everyone else here. I found I relied so heavily on this program that I haven't been able to play much since the update.

Nano is probably just putting the final touches on things, which is why we haven't heard anything yet.

Or it's an incredibly difficult task that was unexpected and requires quite a bit of work.

yeah that'd be my guess. dont stress too much about it nano, get some sleep and do the final touch tomorrow before you get sick and we're gonna have to wait a week

I would suggest that everyone just be patient. This stuff is not easy. I have been a programmer for 25 years and what he is going thru is very tough doing the re-coding.

And you guys keep bugging him about. Just chill and give him some space.

When he is ready he will released it but one thing for sure that he DOES NOT want to release a mediocre product just for the sake of cry babies. That is just the way a GOOD programmer rolls. Must be close to perfection, unfortunately the line of perfection moves all the time.

If you are any good at poker then Poker Shortcuts should not stop you from making any money unless you really .......... then poker is not for you.

Poker Shortcuts will not make you a winning poker player but it is a tool that will help you INCREASE your win rate/hourly rate. But if you keep losing because you suck then Poker Shortcuts CAN NOT change that.

You are 100% correct and I agree with you.

The problem most of us have is that we have gotten so used to FTS (PSC now) doing certain things for us (read: clicking "Time") that w/o it, we are forgetting to do it ourselves, therefore timing out...among other things.

That said, I am all for Gary taking his time and putting out a good product. I'd rather it work than be what the FT update has been: a cluster****.

I guess we just have to win slightly LESS than usual or cut down on the number of tables being played.

I just multitable less than I would with PS.

And like I said earlier, the thing is, he said he would release a beta tonight. Ok he didnt, thats fine with me Im a patient guy...but next time if you think your going to release a beta on a particular day, then make sure you have enough time.

It would be better for him to say "ok, Im doing as much as I can atm, I will probably have a beta ready by monday/tuesday". That way people wouldnt be waiting on that one day for nothing.

Either way, I hope hes not too stressed from our constant questioning.

Chances are that when he announced it that he was almost positive that he could get it done by then BUT he prolly run on a SNAG, is like when you shove KK and run in to AA that has you covered and he flops AA for quads so you are running on empty .

Anyway, running on a snag happens all the time in programming and over the years as an experienced programmer has run into those snags sooooooo many times that it does not TILT me anymore. The only thing that still TILTs me is when my project manager and users keeps bugging me of when a FIX is going to be released.

For real, please people stop bugging him. He's been nothing but professional in the past and we can be sure he's working as fast as he can.

yes on full tilt. the previous version is 018 (look on your shortcuts), I was randomly refreshing the download and the version changed and my hot keys worked on the NL cash game. Hopefully my 90 mans are good now.
