Works great on Stars and FTP, but on Party the table re-sizes and moves correctly, but the program freaks out as if something is constantly clicking on the table and if I load 2 party poker tables, they both start flashing and going totally insane and I cant click "file" "tools" or "help" to even pause the program

plz help

Okay I realize it's because the F5 thing messes with Party for some reason...so how then do I have it recognize that in pervious groups these slots are already in use? Now I can get it working but if I open party after a 4 stars tables are open, it goes to slot 1 not slot 5

I successfully installed this and created a windows group. I see FTP in the Regex.xml, what do I do with this information? I only play tournaments if that matters..

Also, can this thing sort the tables by certain critera? ie, having the oldest tournament always at 0,0, ?

coxquinn,
Basically, you can't. Each group is independent, so there is not cross communication between them. You can either create 4 slots for Stars and 4 slots for Party in different spots. Or just move the windows yourself to properly position them.

I Gotta Push,
In your Full Tilt group, select the Full Tilt RegEx. Now when you save and close the configure window, PlaceMint will position the windows into the slots you created. Use Ripple Forward to order the tables. When you close a table, if there are windows in higher numbered slots, they will be moved forward in the list.

Thanks, I got a workaround anyway using the stars theme manager and making stars open tables the smaller size by default.

Is there a hotkey to "ripple forward" -- sometimes this would be nice but I dont want it on all the time

How do I even get the slot hotkeys working? I want F12 to insta move the table the mouse is over to slot 1

so I made slot 1's hotkey F12 and clicked all the buttons about hotkeys and mouse setting...but it nothing happens

Hi, I tried to search for a solution to this problem but cant.

When I open a stars table, it goes to the top left corner of the table like i want it to at the correct size but it shows one fourth of a big table. I cannot only see the top leftmost 3 players and nothing else.

coxquinn,
In order to enable hotkey swapping: Tools > Options > Swapping > Check Hotkey Swapping and select the appropriate option for mouse of active window. Tools > Configure > Select the appropriate group > Select the appropriate slot > Check the modifier keys you want to use. Then select the textbox and press the key you want to use.
Ripple Forward is either always on or always off.

vinceman,
You need to use the Send F5 option discussed just recently in the thread. Make sure to make the change in the Stars file as well.

Got it working, but here is what I dont understand....

Let's say you are in 9 tournaments:

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

and busto table 5, I would like to be able to mouse over table 9 and hotkey it into the lower slot... like 9->5 instead of 8->5 then 9 goes to 6 then 10 goes to 9

is this possible without dragging???

Okay. I got this out of the predefined Regex list :

- <PMRegex>
<title>Full Tilt</title>
<match>(Cap\sPot\sLimit|Cap\sNo\sLimit|Pot\sLimit| No\sLimit|Limit)\s(Hold'em|Omaha\sH/L|Omaha\sHi|Stud\sH/L|Stud\sHi|Razz)(\s\(\d+\sof\s\d+\))?\s-\sLogged\sIn\sAs</match>
<case-sensitive>false</case-sensitive>
</PMRegex>
- <PMRegex>
<title>Full Tilt Last Hand History</title>
<match>Last\sHand\sHistory</match>
<case-sensitive>false</case-sensitive>
</PMRegex>
- <PMRegex>
<title>Full Tilt Lobby</title>
<match>^Full\sTilt\sPoker\s-\sLogged\sIn\sAs\s</match>
<case-sensitive>false</case-sensitive>
</PMRegex>

I put that in the dialog box shown below :

Does everything seem to be in order? I am not sure it is running correctly. Is it compatible with FTS always changing the table size itself?

coxquinn,
You can create a hotkey for every slot. Once you do that, you can do a bunch of hotkey pressing to move windows anyway you want.

I Gotta Push,
Why are you not just using the RegEx list provided? Tools > Options > Files and select the file you down loaded from the website.

Because I have little to no idea wtf I'm doing...

I'll try that

Okay, it's seemingly working.

1) Should there be anything in this box when I have 7 tables open?

2) Is this program able to automagically put the SNG that has the lowest tournament number, or highest blinds (ie, the tournament that is the oldest) at the 0,0 position? Can it sort the tables chronologically when tiled?

1) Yes, the window titles will be displayed there when they match what you selected as the regular expression.
2) The only time PlaceMint will automatically move a table is if you have Ripple Forward enabled. This will only move tables when one of your tables close. If you have 4 slots and you close the table in slot 2, the table from 3 will move to 2 and the table from 4 will move to 3. This will force the empty slots to the bottom of the list. This is not directly sorting the tables, but after you play through a couple SNGs, you will have the table that has been open the longest in slot 1 and the newest in slot 4.

1) As stated above I'm using the sample Regex under Tools/Options/Expressions list. Yet nothing showed up in those boxes as my .gif suggests.

2) Thanks...

After you selected the file, did you go configure the window group to use the correct regex?
PlaceMint: Window Positioning Tool Quote

Yup.. So it should be functioning smoothly then? To be honest, I can't tell whats doing what when FTS is also running. I will play around with it more later..

Yeah but is there a hotkey to "ripple forward"? I like that feature but want to be able to control it-- and ideally it would move the last table into whichever slot is in front.... can this be done???

Thanks

The change I found in the PokerStars tournament names was that some were using "Stakes" instead of "Blinds". Please try the new regex and let me know that if anything else is being missed.
Hi, I dont have a user.ini file under my pokerstars folder. I do however see a user.ini.migrated file. Is this the same thing? and how do I add the line?

coxquinn,
There is no ripple hotkey. As of now, when enabled, it will always do a ripple and not move the last slot into the open space.

vinceman,
I honestly don't know. If you ask in the Stars Planner or Quick Answer threads, someone who does will be able to answer.

Sorry to keep asking questions, but how can I sort the tables by site, i.e., all FTP tables get first slots, then stars, etc.
PlaceMint: Window Positioning Tool Quote
03-18-2009 , 02:05 PM
create separate groups for each site is the way I do it. FT will always be in one area of the monitor, Stars in another

mine looks like...

FT Stars
1 2 1
3 4 2
5 6 3
7 8 4

I think that's what you're looking for, but if not re-word the question and I'll try

Is this compatible with FTS table sizing?
