oops, I didn't see your edit. I'll get that fixed in the next patch but the "hud" is very basic so don't expect too much (e.g. you hem hud to appear)

entraction is supported today. It's not listed in the OP because that hasn't been updated in way too long.

Is it possible to keep my own color coding? So that it only changes the colors of players, that havn't been marked before?

by default it won't overwrite your colors You should verify that the option "overwrite user selected colors" is unchecked in file->settings->color settings

When NC adds a color, it will add an ® character to your notes so you know NC added it. If you're playing stars, your "labels" may get overwritten. For example, by default stars says "player type 1" or something like that for green. However, NC may change that to "fish" or whatever it is to match its own classifications. This makes sense in most cases but if you've customized that and don't want it messed with, make sure that "export labels" is unchecked in the same options screen

Hi SretiCentV,

I´m testing your program. Great idea from you . Keep up the good job and support!
I play only at FT. The color codes created my NC are not showing when I play at the tables. To your information I use HM, FTNinja and I use some mods. I use the last version of NC.

What could be the problem?

check in file->settings->color settings. Does the file selected for full tilt look like "djodds.xml"? (assuming that's your screen name at full tilt)

Try opening that file in notepad. Do you see a lot of "®" in that file? NC leaves that when adding a color. If so then maybe it's still the wrong file. For example I have "c:\program files (x86)\full tilt" and "c:\program files\full tilt" on my computer.

If there's no ®, then try selecting all the color definitions in NC and right click->seek full tilt players. Does that come up with players?

Hi Sreti

Im trying to create a definition involving villains who call a pot sized bet on the river with less than top pair. For the purposes of this I'd like a pot sized bet to include stuff like a bet of $99 into a $100 pot, ie is there a way to define calling a bet of more than 90% of the pot?

If 2 defintions have the same grouping prefix name how does NC decide which one to display first in the notes it generates?

Thanks

in river->previous actions you can use "manual bet" and set it to minimum 90 maximum 0 or if you want an actual maximum like 110% pot set it to 110. I noticed the help bubble has bad info and that will be changed in the next patch

alphabetical. This is going to be more customizable in 2.0.1

New version is amazing. Would love to have the ability to use custom notes with more specificity; that is, say I want to colorcode based on how often player's threebet vs my button open, I would like to be able to put in number ranges using the created definition. Since the definition is defined by action I don't think this can be done?

Thank you for the kind words mr davis. Right now its not exactly possible but you gave me a good idea. Right now you could make a definition "three bets my steals too often" and set the minimum frequency to like 80 percent or so. Then you can use that as a "required definition" for color coding. That would roughly accomplish what you want but then you'd have the caveat of having a superfluous note since you already have a similar note. 2.0.1 is coming and will be at least 500 percent better than 2.0 and one of the improvements will make this particular task easier.

Thank you for your great support. Everything was ok but no notes. I started again getting the file djodds.xml manually and proceed with color coding. Now the file has plenty of ®.

New User Questions:

Hi, just got your program and went through your youtube videos and manual...few quick questions just so I can get this up and running and experiment...I will read through this thread in the next few days...sorry for repeat questions.

1) I just want to make clear that when NoteCaddy makes a note in HEM, will it put the notes on the top above my HEM notes or on the bottom? And if I manually alter any notes or manually enter notes, there is no way NoteCaddy will ever touch those, right?

2) Does the trial allow me to take notes so I can see how it looks for me - or do I need to just purchase it first?

Thanks! Looking forward to playing around with this.

1. by default, your notecaddy notes will go below your manually entered notes - however, you can configure them to go above them if you want. Your manually entered notes will get prefixed with an [M] but they won't be removed lest many people get very upset

2. the trial is fully functional

Can you elaborate a little bit on the problem you're having? There is a bug with BB/100 that I'm going to get patched tonight. However, I'm not clear what you mean about it not using the min sample.

I can understand your frustration. Minor patches are auto notified inside the software but this was a major new release. There was not any way I could think of to inform people from within the software. I did, however, send out a newsletter with that info
