hi pokerpro,

where on your website can i find the optout feature which was requested by pokerstars security (jeff).i thought it should be plain visible and usable for noncostumers as well.

It’s located at http://www.pokerprolabs.com/smartbuddy. The link is the fifth one down on the left hand side. You can also find it within Smart Buddy by going to the help section.

Do we have an idea of when crypto network is gonna be supported??

Just bought a 1 year subscription, pretty cool program. When it does the auto search/open for a table, however, Snoopfree detects it as a keylogger, or at least a keyboard hook.

Put my mind at ease and tell me ur not in my computa, stealin' my keystrokes.

Hi Holland3r,
We don’t hook into your keyboard or mouse and we don’t log any data.
I had this question asked before and here is what I said. “Ryan, we are a well established company and have been in the poker industry for many years. We work directly with or provide services to many of the poker sites, poker publications and poker t.v. shows all over the world. You can be rest assured that there is nothing malicious in any of our applications. Feel free to do additional research on your own about our company. “ . I don’t know about snoopfree but you can run any program to check for yourself including Norton or Symantec.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you

Vinny80, I know it’s on our list of site we will be supporting. I need to check to see where it is on the list.

The updater now works for me.

Then I tried to purchase a month's subscription via a Visa debit card, but the card was rejected even though the card is fine. To be honest I didn't feel that comfortable providing that info anyway and don't want to try it again. So is there some way to pay via PayPal? Or could you PM me and tell me some way to pay via PokerStars? I would like to try the program.

I will pm you all the information you need.

Has anyone tried getting players out of PT/PO in a coma delimited format and into SmartBuddy?>
07-03-2007 , 10:44 PM
Thanks, got the info and made my monthly payment. Then got SmartBuddy running but one problem and one question:

1. When I click on the tables indicated I get an unhandled exceptions error. I PM'd you more info on the error message.

2. Is there any documentation for this program? I can't find any. When I use the Help menu and try either Topics or FAQ it takes me to pages for PokerPro rather than SmartBuddy. And I can't find any docs on your website. For example, I don't know what the difference is in a Watch List and a Buddy List. I also don't know what Update Stars List does. Am I missing a guide or help page somewhere?

The table opener is MUCH faster in this new update. Nice job!

Now the list is not working at all. No buddies showing online at FTP.

What is the problem?

We had some issues with a few units on Full Tilt and so it ran very slow for about 1hour 20 min. Everything looks good and running smoothly. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Whats the deal with this? Half the time I log in it shows that everyone is offline, as Im playing next to them.
07-05-2007 , 07:30 PM
what site are you playing on? I am not showing any issues.
07-05-2007 , 07:32 PM
I play on Pokerstars and Bodog, but the full tilt buddies also aren't showing up as online.
07-05-2007 , 07:42 PM
can you pm me with some player user names? I am showing full tilt updates running 1-2 min. thanks

Could you address question 2? The PokerPro site is a mess - half the links don't go where they say they do, and some don't go anywhere.

Also, you said you took my info from my PM to support but I haven't heard anything back yet about how to get the "take-me-to-their-table" feature to work. Please advise.

Hi dfan, I am traveling all week. Can you please contact support at pokerprolabs.com
They will be able to address any questions or issues you may have.

Will do. Enjoy your travels.

The new alert feature is helpful, BUT it places the alerts smack in the middle of a 1600x1200 resolution screen. If your intent was for the popup to appear in the bottom-right, it's not happening (unless maybe the screen is set to 800x600).

It would also be helpful if there were an option to NOT alert us when people on the Stars list show up.

Finally, any way you can add the date and time our buddies last logged on? (Perhaps next to the greyed-out name when they are inactive?)

That's weird. The alert comes up on the bottom right for me with 1600 X 1200.

I like your two suggestions. As far as the stars alert, you can just delete that group via the players menu. You can always reload the list on the settings menu.

But it'd be nice to fine tune what alerts you get. For example only get alerts when your buddies are playing at a specific game and limit. Or limit the alerts to 6-Max only. Things like that.

We will be adding a filters section for game, limits, players, groups, etc. to the alert system.
