When im importing im only getting 10-12 hands per second. I am datamining but that is done on a networked computer and it saves the HH files onto the main PC which isnt overworked. I have a 2.6ghz pc with 1.5gb of ram and im running windows xp service pack 2 so my system dosent really lag etc

I remember a while back you said you can do something that drastically increases speed, maybe something to do with POSTGREL or something similar. Any ideas on how to improve speed.

Thanks rvg!

I need help with one last question that went unanswered:
Can you show me an example of how to retrieve the early1limpervpip stats for a player called "tinktank"?

I'm in the command promt. It says
HOLDEMMANAGER=#
What should I write?

is there any way to add to the HUD BB/hr of each player? i'd like to see if i'm playing against winning or losing players and if they are all winning players then i'd probably change tables.

an alternative, but not as exact is if in the HUD you displayed winning player names in GREEN and losing players name in RED. currently everyone's name is red. Maybe have really good BB/hr players name with a + sign beside their name and a - for really bad players.

RVG

I am finding the changing of colours in player preferences options of hud stats awkward to use.
Whenever I try to edit inf it gives me an unhandles exception error.
Also when I start changing values in order it just changed them back to inf and I can't set up properly

I'm having some problems with Prima. The HUD stats are not updating sometimes. I think the problem might be with HM. I run both PT and HM while playing and I have been getting different numbers from them.

For a recent session I played, PT showed me playing 231 hands losing $82. But HM shows me playing 171 hands winning $11.59. My sessions from Pokerstars have been the same on HM and PT, but when I play on Prima the stats differ.

Also, the HUD groups my stats together on all the tables I am playing. It isn't giving my stats for each individual table, it just groups my stats on all table together.

Yeah, super software firstly just a few suggestions, change the HUD stats with no abbreviations, it just takes up too much room and is too messy.

On the color ranges it would be nice if you could export and import these layouts.

Lastly in the Preflop Hands TAB in the player information window it shows what % of hands he showed down but we dont know if thats over 4 hands or 400 hands, obviouslly if its over 4 hands its not very reliable info but if its over 400 hands we can give it alot of weight so if it displayed how many hands the sample is somewhere there it would be a massive help. I know you can filter it to show you this but you dont have time always during a game so this would be a great feature.

Keep up the good work

I too am having trouble with the colors and it seems like it isn't wrking right for me not sure I really understand how to make the number/abbreviations and names the color I want as it seems every time I change some thing it changes a differnt thing (if any of this makes sense) I hope a good tutorial comes out with HM because comming form using pokeroffice this very new and differnt to me. By the way the program is looking hella good RVG.

Hi RVG,

Just downloaded the latest beta after barely touching it when it 1st came out and it looks fantastic now. HUD looks great, haven't played a proper session using it yet, but just got it set up. Has any1 else tried this on Crypto yet? There seems to be a slight problem with my stats only showing for the most recent hand, and also a problem with my seating position???? Has any1 else had this?

I will play a proper session with it tomorrow and post more details.

Great work!!

Edit:
Also, I'm sure this has been mentioned but currently, my NL£200 hands show as NL$200, it would be good if it could be displayed as a separate level, and also if exchange rates could be set so that I can graph $ and £ together, which I am currently unable to do.

Hey, hopefully someone can help me with configuring Eyepoker With Holdem Manager, this is the way i have it setup is this correct:

My Password is correct and it scans when i run it but im only getting 14% known players compared to the usual 60-70%. I imported all the hands i had in the PT and it defo installed all the HH successfuly because i still have 10k-20k hands on all the regs when i use the HUD in HM.

Also Holdem Manager HUD works fine and says ive 48k players in the database but im thinking how would it pick up any players if it wasnt getting through to the database then it should be 0% found because thats the only active database so im a bit confused.

Heres my Database Management screenshot in Holdem Manager

Hi, just a quick note on two error messages I encountered while using this program:

1) In the Select Player screen, clicking Select while leaving the box blank will cause an error message to pop up.

2) The drop-down lists (Report name under the Reports tab, and Group by under the Sessions tab) cause an error when you select an option from the list and then scroll too quickly with your mouse. Found this by accident because the drop-down list was still selected when I was trying to scroll down my hands.

By the way, I have a Party SNG hand involving a side pot that did not import. Don't know if a single hand is useful, but if you want I can send it to you.

In other words, if site x is not supported, but Pokerstars is, if we convert the HH's of site x into Pkerstars format on the fly and they are imported into HM, will the HUD show those stats on the tables of site x, or do they have to be Pokerstars tables? Thanks.

Ryan
Ryan, the active player details window in HM would work but the HUD would not know which windows to attach the stats too. This type of functionality is already on the todo list but its not an immediate priority.

If this is using auto import then don't worry about the import speeds because most of the time is spent with file IO - you might want to change the AutoImportTimerDuration in the config file to a number bigger than 5 if this is what you are doing.

If, after copying all of the hands to a folder and then importing from there one time you get those speeds then something is probably not working correctly.

the query for this if you are not interested in any filters would be:

select sum(early1limpervpip)*100.0/sum(early1limperhands) as Early1LimperVPIPPct from compiledplayerresultspositionaction where compiledplayerresults_id in
(select Compiledplayerresults_ID from compiledresults CR where CR.Player_ID = (select P.Player_ID from players P where playername = 'tinktank'))

Once we give the ability to completely customize the layout you'll also be able to customize stats and color ranges so this can be done.

This is a known bug that I should have wrapped up in the next update

I've noticed an issue with HM re-reading from the DAT file - working on fixing this. Once fixed you'll get the other 60 hands imported and you shouldn't have this problem again.

You might want to check with Mr Snood to see if he has seen this. You're right, the fact that t he number is > 0% is a little weird.

Starting to like the HUD more and more. Can't wait to be able to customize the layout more and notes/previous hands being added into the HUD.

One thing though. Is it possible to give people an option to have self stats in a fixed spot no matter what seat you have? As it is the place I have the stats often cover parts of the cards, and since I run it with non transparent background this is annoying when the cards are my own.

I don't know if this bug was reported before...

When I ask to replay some hands, it doesn't display the hand I asked, but a hand I replayed before.

Problem with Pokereye seems to have sorted itself out, im now getting 76%+ coverage, cant figure why but im not about to try and fix something that isnt broken

Should point out though that according to the eyepoker config page you should name the database: HoldemManagerBeta this appears to be incorrect as that is what you had it named in one of the first versions of HM but you have since changed it to just HoldemManager so people would actually be connected to a database but it would be a very old one. Actually thinking about it that sounds like what i was getting because i would have only had a small amount of hands in my old HMbeta database

Also another problem i came across was i had HM extract hands from my HH folder but i also had PT process the files and when it processed them it moved them from the HH folder to a seperate folder where HM was not scanning and this caused my recent stats from the tables i was at not to show up in HM.

So just a warning not to have PT processing files while HM is running at the same time otherwise your HH will not be in HM and youll have to scan the folder where you have your processed files for the missing ones

I ran into the same problem initially. Now I have HM import two folders:
1. The handhistory folder where poker client writes files
2. The folder where files processed by PT goes.

This way most files are imported multiple times by HM, but it hasn't been a big deal for me as HM import is pretty fast and duplicate hands are ignored anyway. I move processed files from the processed files folder to a third and final folder every now and then to ease the load on HM taking a look at too many files.

Maybe you can clear this up, when i open the Cash Games report TAB it dosent show my stats for the last number of weeks but it does in the hands and session tabs, is the report tab for something else completely? Its also the same for other people so say he has 400 hands in the reports TAB it will show 1 hand and in the session tabs it will show 400 hands, same for me it shows about 200 hands in the report tab and over 100k hands in the session TAB.

Also FYI PokerEye displays the amount won and lost wrong, it moves the decimal 2 places to the right for some reason so someone who wins $41.50 will be displayed in eyepoker as having won $4150.00, ill email snoop and let him know
