So my 15 day trail is up and I want to get HEM. With the 'get it free' offers, it appears that the FTP offer could be achieved in a very short space of time, and provides $100 off. I do however already have an account there, and all the alternatives appear to require a much larger volume of play to 'clear', even the $75 ones (which is all I require). Anybody have any evidence to the contrary? Which would be the next easiest one to clear??

Thanks

EDIT: I obviously already have a stars account, as well as betfair and Titan I think

Once you have filtered the dates click the [x] All radio button to load all the hands. Left-click one hand in the list, then right-click that hand, and choose Export all Hands to hard drive.

Most people just import all of their hands to HM in one large database and use the filters to see what they need. It is usually easier than trying to maintain multiple databases.

now how can I delete duplicate hands? there is no the same sessions I can see..
Duplicate hands are ignored/skipped (quickly) when imported. They shouldn't actually appear in the various reports. If you are seeing the same hands twice in the reports/sessions, your database is likely corrupt, and I would suggest you create a new one.

I have the following problems in my tourney results screen.
  1. Both tourneys are still in not finished when they should be completed.
  2. Buyin is $1.10 apposed to $1 buyin with $0.10 in the rake section.
  3. Speed is down as regular when these were both turbos
  4. Times are wrong they are down as 9 and 7 minutes when they both took between 25-30 minutes.
I know I can email stars and request the information to manually sort these out this time, however its vitally important to me that HEM does its job going forward as I'm switching to tournament poker from cash and undergoing a challenge.

If anyone can help me out I'd be extremely grateful

I agree, I personally want EVERY hand I have ever played in my database, no matter how odd it may look. Filter by date, if you don't like to look at it every day, instead of using the All Hands date filter.

If both are yes, open table manager, click table, click table finder.

Highlight the table in the list, drag the red x to the table on your screen.

Click ok.
brky pretty much nailed it:

Please update to the latest release - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English. Set your Windows Regional and Language Settings to English (US). Restart your PC.

Try the table finder - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...r+to+Show+HUD+

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK. Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK

You can also try importing your recent archived hands now that you ae updated.

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.

If you are at all unsure, I would first get your time zone settings and day starts at times set, then create a new database and request 'all' your hands/summaries from FTP support to import.

For the date/time issues:

It is a combination of issues when you are in a different time zone than your poker server, and play past midnight regularly.

If you play past midnight, and use the 'Today' filter often, you will want to adjust the Options > Settings... > Miscellaneous > Day Starts Time > 06:00 (or similar).

You want to leave your windows in your normal time zone, but you may need to use English formatting for date/time. To fix this you just need to change your Windows Regional Settings. Go to the Control Panel and open the Regional and Language Options and select English (USA) as the "Current Format".

The poker client needs to be in it's normal server time. For full tilt this EST.

If you are in GMT+0 you would be 5 hours ahead of the FTP server.

Set the Options > Settings... > Adjust Site Import Times > Full Tilt > Edit > 5

Now the hands will be written in their actual time and HM will adjust 5 hours to make them appear in your local time.

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

restart your computer

Did you try creating the new database? Do you get import errors? Same discrepancies? If the hands aren't being archived you may have some settings mis-configured.

Please www.7-zip.org the hands (from your stars folder and recent archive) and email them to me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread and your forum name.

Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files(x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config. If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager.

Make sure you have stars setup to write the summary files and HM setup to import them -

If you didnt have the poker client writing summaries you can email their support and ask for all your old hands and summaries.

If the results are still inaccurate with the hands and summary files, zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

0 and 0

Mine is the same way. You want windows and poker clients all in their normal time zone settings and then you adjust (only if necessary) to compensate for any difference. Your window clock and poker client clocks should be the same so you dont need to adjust your site import times.

Read my post above, about pokerstars summaries. I am going to assume you play at stars (or FTP). Any table more than a single table must have a tournament summary file in addition to the hand history files. If there is no summary file HM can not calculate the results properly. If the site you play can send you the original summary files you should be able to import them to correct the finish place, size, prize, etc. If our site does not write summaries (the majority of sites do not) then you will have to manually edit any MTT (or multi-table SNG).

If you play at stars or FTP:

You need to request and import any/all your tournament histories and import those to HM. Stars did not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive in the past, like FTP did. They recently added this feature, so please enable the option in the PokerStars client and add the folder to your Auto Import Folder Configuration.

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...er+Stars+Setup

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Results.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. It will probably ask you to search/select your Pokerstars screen name. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

Full tilt sends them as multiple RAR files which extract to a single (often very large) text file with the hands and summaries both.

You are asking if you can see the HUD on cash tables before you sit? Most sites do not allow datamining of observed hands. stars and ftp let us pre-fetch 1 hand to pull up the HUD on observed tables. If you decide to sit down, and the table spins you to your favorite seat, the HUD will not adjust to the proper positions until after it has imported your first played hand.

Norton Internet Security bundle is the devil, if that is what you are referring to. Norton Antivirus should work fine (with windows firewall), if you set exceptions - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...lems+(Firewall)

Also on the black-list: McAffee Security Scan, Comodo Firewall, Comodo Internet Security, PC-Tools, PC-Doctor, Panda, etc, etc, etc.

Windows Firewall in conjunction with a stand-alone antivirus such as AVG Free, Avira Free, or Microsoft Internet Security should be fine for the majority of users. If you want to pay for security I would suggest Kaspersky or Eset NOD.

Odd. Holdem Games? Is your DB very large?

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

I would suggest you do the majority of the things in this thread: http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=11194

Some of the most important things, imo:

- Remove the WinnerName, WinnerCards and WinnerWon from the Options > Hands View Column Selection.
- Turning off logging and deleting existing logs
- Vacuum/Full/Analyze, then Reindex - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...tabase+#manual
- Defrag last and make sure you stop the postgresql service before you defrag. I personally use Smart Defrag.
- Do a Cold Boot (Shut Down > Start) before you use HM again

If that doesn't work, maybe try to duplicate the problem in a new, smaller database, to rule out the possibility of a corrupt database.

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...+-+Backup+Tips

HUD options, site options, check prefetch stats. Also click launch hud with auto import under HUD options. After this when you first log on to start a session, go to import and start auto import.

I did have to do this. There were two or three files involved and the HUD was blocked by Norton causing the whole program not to work. I dont remember file names, but if you go searching through Norton they should be clearly associated with HEM.

What firewall do you use?

You need to give all poker programs allowance in your firewall. This includes: client, HEM, table ninja, AHK, postgres.exe, db control panel, client update.exe. Basically, if in doubt, add it.

In windows firewall, go to control panel, security, it's one of the featured features.
