This is just a really really minor nag but in Windows 7, I have HEM pinned to the taskbar, but the icon never shows? just a unknown file type icon, any idea why?

Okay, HEM didn't import half my hands. I have no idea why.

So I made a new database to test and imported hands from the ongame folder. It imported every hand fine from todays session.

So I went back to my original database, purged all the hands and tried to import them again and it says: Found 0 files to process.

I exported all hands from the temp database I made which imported them all correctly, and tried to re-import them into my original database, and it says import error on all of them.

Help! I need those hands in my main database. (I've tried importing them from HM Archive, Ongame Folder, and Exported from HEM test database).

Cliffs: Basically hands are importing fine in one database, but not the other.

how do i get hm on my other cpu again ?? i had to wipe the hard drive clean.

You are the first I know to mention this. I have it pinned with no issues. Try to unpin it, create a new shortcut, and then pin the new shortcut to the taskbar.

Why would you purge all your hands? Did you copy the hands to a new folder?

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.

If you get errors importing them you may have a corrupt DB. You are always better off importing the original hands instead of exported hands.

If they won't import, or still give errors, after copying the hands to the desktop, your DB is damaged and you will want to import all your original hands to the temp/new DB to replace the original DB.

Just install it and register it with the same code, as PC#2. The code can be used on 2 machines at once and can be reset as often as needed.

Please try using our site to register your current/new license. If your code isn't there already you can upload it manually and then reset the code whenever necessary.

hud stats not showing up on the videos i make with camtasia. everything works fine but when i view the video, no stats.

when i try to launch the HUD it just come sup with a box that has my tournament number with a check next to it, but i can't gt the HUD to show up on my screen next to all the players names. I'm a new to this software, so please don't be too harsh

Whoops should have thought of that, thanks alot it worked!


As for the Database, I guess it must be corrupt as it won't import those hands at all. I only just restored it to a new PC 2 days ago too.

Under Data View, I checked my tournament results for the last two weeks, and there was only one issue. I played a bunch of 18-player turbo SNGs (5-minute blinds), and all of them showed a tournment speed of "regular". I fixed it manually.

What do you need on your end to look at this issue? Does HEM get this information from reading a tournament summary (looking for the word "turbo") or by tracking the time between blind changes?

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

It was a DB you had backed up and restored? It is less surprising that it had issues, now that I know that. Restored Db's are much more likely to become damaged, corrupt, or simply to have not restored properly. Unmaintained databases are also much more prone to DB corruption. I recommend you run the DB Optimize options at least once a month, on your new DB. After optimizing the DB you should also turn off postgresql and defrag your HDD.

Did you try to import the summaries before you fixed them manually? I think the regular and turbo results issues have been resolved, and the only big issue left is for the super-turbos. If they still don't import properly, after importing the hands and summaries, send me the hands and summaries to test, if you wouldn't mind. PLS CAN U HELP ME OUT OF A **** ???

I bought HEM pro. I play on Stars.
My HUD for tournaments and Sng's WORK! but for CASH-games DOESN'T.

ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THE PROBLEM ? I turned off UAV-control . I updated my HEM. But still the same!.. i become desperate. WHAT SHOULD I DO ??

CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLS.

This is the error I get everytime I try to import hands using auto import from ongame.

On latest beta and I am using 8.3 (as my laptop uses it also).

I recently bought HEM. WTF!?? I can't seem to get the HUD work properly. The stats on the table are never where I want them to be and when I finally got them where I want them it doesn;t remember them so the next time they're all over the place again!

Uncheck "Import from Subfolders" in the auto-import settings.

Move the files in the handhistory folder to your \hmarchive folder and import them via import file or import from folder.

Try a new session with auto-import. A new handhistory file should be generated.


This is in a new DB? If yes, and you continue to get the error, send us the files to support. I get similar issues every time I rebuild my DB by importing some old (exported) hands.

Site? It sounds like you need to update, check your seating preferences, and then fix the HUD positions.

Configure your pokerclient preferred seating and seating preferences in HM accordingly.
1) Open one Table, play at least one hand.
2) Move the stats with the right mouse key to the correct positions.
3) Table manager -> File -> Save positions
4) Now you can open further tables but you will always have to play at least one hand for the stats being moved to the correct positions.

I am not sure what you are after, exactly. I assume I am over-simplfying this. There is a Filter > Edit > More Filters > River Filters > River Fold = True, filter.

If that isn't what you want, and I have little faith it actually is what you were after, send me a detailed email and I can ask the other guys.

Yeah still getting the error when I import the hands from the HMArchive folder. I made a new DB to test again and they all import fine, I guess the original database is damaged.

i tried what the faq said on the hm site but, it still does not work. no stats when i watch the video. i am at my wits end. i have spent ~ 3 hrs trying to make the video play in full screen with the stats showing..

I have no issues when I do it using CamStudio. I believe Camtasia has an option to 'record layered windows' or similar, that should allow for the HUD to be recorded.

i noticed that mtts are starting to register the correct cashes and finishes which had to have been recently... if we go back and re import our data bases will it correct this for all?
