Which Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Which version of PostgreSQL are you using? Is HM and PostgreSQL all set to run as admin?

I was previously using AntiVir but as I suspected a virus I switched to symantec at rebuild. Symantec is controlling windows firewall. Running version 8.4. Confirm both apps are running as admin.


Have just followed link and added all exes to firewall exceptions list. Will give that a spin

Try a different version of postgresql. Some computers with W7 really dislike 8.4.


1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator
[PHP]net user postgres /delete [/PHP]
4) reboot.
5) Install PostgreSQL 8.3.9 from this link - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/Pos...3.9-v1.0.7.exe

Is HEM able to deal with running it twice on Full Tilt?

It records both runs and properly awards the pot and EV, but HM has no way to be able to show the 2nd run within its GUI, so it only shows run 1.

I have a question regarding moving my HEM from laptop to my PC.
Is installing HEM on PC, then copying the HH database to import enough ?

You should export all of your hands from the DB, as well as any tournament results, hud notes, and custom HUD configs. You also want to backup your current \HMArchive folder as well.

Now that everything is backed up you can try to either move your \data folder and reinstall the same DB or you can try the .backup/restore method. If either of those methods fail you will need to import all your original and exported hands/files to rebuild the DB.

Hi have a few questions/requests,

1. I want to be able to filter stats automatically for how ever many players are at the table. So If we're playing 6max and the game break down to 3 handed the stats for each player only show all the past 3handed stats and when it breaks down to HU on 6max/FR table it only shows the HU stats of the guy. Is there any way of doing this?

2. When I view 'vs players' under cash games and data filter is set to 'Today' for example, when I select a particular player the hands that will show up for this player (under the results) will include all hands previously played with this player not just the hands played with this player just 'Today'. Is there any way of changing this? (I know I can filter by 'vs a player' and look at the 'Hands' tab filtered for 'Today' but it gets really annoying doing it for a bunch of opponents).

3. It would be cool if a new session for stats could be started without having to close the HUD and restart. Like if I'm playing HU vs someone then he leaves and someone else sits my stats on that table will include the hands from the previous opponent getting mixed with the stats vs the new opponent. Would be very useful to just start a new session on a particular table for my own stats.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi there, I play on UB, HEM says my rake is $2269 for the month, but my rakeback provider says its $1525. So does it mean my jackpot rake is $2269 - $ 1525 = $744? Thanks

You would get a discount. The price is $50 to Gold members of CR or Stox. However, that price is probably going to go up slightly in the next month so you won't ever find it at a lower price.

If that doesn't help you will probably have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely and reimport your hands using these instructions

If that installer fails to install PostgreSQL, please reinstall PostgreSQL using the following instructions:

Hi there, I did all that and nothing worked until I ended up re-installing Postgres and importing all my hands again to a new database. The issue now is that I dont seem to have my old notes, i'm wondering where they are saved?

The notes are stored within the database, so if you can't connect to it you won't be able to export them. if you have ever exported them they could be imported to your new DB.

So basically I play both 10max turbos and 6max superturbos on iPoker and I wanted to know if it was possible to filter the stats so the supertubo stats wouldn't show up in the 10max games and vice-versa, Is this possible.

I just upgraded from Windows 7 RC to the full Windows 7.

HEM wants me to register again, but I can't use my serial number. And unfortunately I have no idea what I set my username and password as so I can't log in when HEM sends me to try to fix it.

I have my serial number and email address. Help!

If you have never been to the registration site before, you have to register before you can login. The login/pass is not the same as your forum login, although it could be setup that way.

1. Delete C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe.ldat (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)

2. Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

3. Update to the latest beta - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe

If you can't find those files, DO NOT delete any other files with similar names.



1. Shutdown Hold'em Manager
2. Navigate to your RVG Software/Holdem Manager/Config folder
3. Create a file called LicDebug.txt
4. Restart Hold'em Manager

You should hopefully be able to enter your new code now. Once you have done this close Hold'em Manager, delete LicDebug.txt and restart Hold'em Manager.


Please try using our registration system to register your current/new license. Then you will be able to retrieve or reset your own license, as needed. http://www.holdemmanager.net/Registration/

To get your current license from your running installation of HEM: Help > Show Serial Number

You will need to sign up, login, and then reset your code, then logout/login, to verify it was reset.

I have 2 databases: (1) Hands I played; (2) Hands I played + mined hands.

Should I be purging all the hands in database 2 to save room? If I do, can I still use that database for TableScanner and my HUD?

No, you don't. HM moves them for performance reasons. If it had to scan thru hundreds of old hand histories every 5 seconds it can bog down HM so that your HUD won't display.

You can disable archiving under Options > Configure Auto Import Folders, but I would not recommend it for Pokerstars or Full Tilt. The only sites i recommend you disable archiving for is Microgaming network because HM is incapable of moving their gamehistory.dat files.

Just saw this while I was moving it: if this is a request, then could I also request the ability to have the auto-import move delay settable to zero (ie: no delay at all with hands moved instantly to the archive folder).

Currently, even with this set to 1 it often leaves some files behind in the Party HH folder (until the next time you run the auto-import) and it's a nuisance when you want to zip up your archive and find these are missed (BTW: I don't use the auto-import while playing - just at the end of each session as a way of importing and moving the hands like I used to in PT2).

Only if you are trying to improve your free space or performance. I don't know for sure about the Table Scanner but my guess would be it uses the actual DB unlike the HUD which has a cache of old stats, but I am just guessing at this point. Our resident scanner expert is still sleeping I think. If you want to be sure about the scanner issue I would suggest asking in the Table Scanner forum. The HUD stats remain after purging hands, as do the stats on the Players tab.
