I did an update so i would not have any HUD problems for switching $/€ tables

i did an update before ofcourse but this time i had to set up my player preferences again, cant remember i had to do that the last time

player alias was already set, but i did had to set up the auto import folders again also

so there i was ready to hit the tables again,

but no table manager and no HUD on any table, not even the $ ones.

what am i missing?

The secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services > secondary logon > right-click > start AND right-click > properties > startup type: automatic.


You must have installed it previously? Unfortunately it is not possible to extend the trial. We do offer a 10 day full refund, so you could use that as an extended trial of sorts.

No Table Manager? Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.


If you still don't see a Table Manager, try this:

0. Make sure you have installed the latest Beta version.
1. Note your database connection settings from the database management
2. Close holdemmanager
3. Go to the folder config in the holdemmanager installation path
4. Rename the file holdemmanager.config to holdemmanager.config.corrupt or sth. like that.
5. Under Vista make sure that UAC is switched off or check the administrator settings for holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe under properties->compatibility
6. Restart Holdemmanager
7. Holdemmanager reinstalls and displays some messages and warnings
7a. A new holdemmanager.config file is generated
8. Reconfigure your database connection
9. After successful start reconfigure your Auto-import settings
10. Table manager should start again.

Is rake calculation still dealt only, not possibility for contributed?

Before I updated from beta 43(IIRC) -> to current beta 5, I checked that my BF rake for the year shows $53k which is way too high.

After installing the patch, the rake still shows as $53k.

Do I have to change it manually from dealt to contributed?

ok i got postgres installed and now when i try to connect it says "connection error: Access to path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config\HoldemManager.Config' is denied.

Do recent versions of HEM differentiate between Dollars and Euros? If I'm playing a combination of Dollar and Euro stakes, can I set my earn in Dollars or Euro so everything is summed in 1 currency or can HEM treat the Euro tables as their own stake?

If i upgrade from the small stakes to the full, do i keep all my data from the small stakes version?

Yes, you just have to use a different regkey, which they send you.

We are working on multi-currency behind the scenes and it will begin appearing in the 1.10 Beta versions sometime after Beta 6.

We currently have 2 stars VPP stats. Roy is working on adding a new stat for the 2010 changes. I would expect it in Beta 6 or Beta 7.

Please please add more filters to tourney reports. I have already "voted" for this on your site, but it really needs to be added and hopefully posting here can get a little more support from other users and yourself.

Currently we can only filter by date, so I have no possible way to analyze my stats for a given tournament type. If you just added things as simple as being able to filter by buyin and number of players in the same way you have for the results section it would make it 100000% better. The reports section for tournaments right now is virtually worthless.

Is this why I have a problem with my HUD when playing in euro money? The HUD works perfect when playing in dollars, but wont show up at all when I play in euros. Is there any solution to this?

how do you get your other license? I've been having internet problems and might have to use my mothers computer to finish poker for the month (so ****ing close to gold star i can smell it) and I don't know what the other license is. Only used HEM on one PC so far.

i did what u advised, i set the files as administrator so i do have a

tablemanager but no HUD at all....

Dunno if it has been answered yet, but the team pro online icons are ****ing my "join" function of the table scanner. It won't join the waitlist when there is a pokerstars icon in front of the table name. That is for PLO and I'm using the beta 5. Any hotfix for that?

Not sure if this is where i should post this but i need help!

so i have HM open and i start auto import from the file where i have hand histories saved from UB and when the import starts the table manager opens up shows tables i am playing on but it says 0/6 players. also it says it is importing files, but the hands imported is always remaining at 0. and 0 import errors.

so if you guys could help me out with this that would be awesome!! thanks
