Seat 1 is clockwise of the chip tray, at 1 o' clock.

1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
2) Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.
3) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref.txt and pospref2.txt.
4) configure your poker client preferred seating and seating preferences in HM accordingly
5) Setup HUD pre-fetch: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm....aspx?faqid=29 (if on stars or ftp)
6) open one cash Table and adjust the HUD while observing, and then sit and play at least one hand
7) move the stats with the right mouse key to the correct positions
8) Table manager -> File -> Save positions
9) Now you can open further tables but you will always have to play at least one hand for the stats being moved to the correct positions.

If you still have problems Please email me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/TeamViewerQS.exe. Please let me know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you.

The 'Hero Names' option is to help the HUD know where you are sitting at the table.

Cash Games > Reports > Click 'Change' and search your Poker Site name. Do not click the drop-down arrow. That opens a list of previously searched names.

Thanks, i updated to the beta version and that worked for a couple of days. Now I am having the exact same problem with the beta version. I tried reinstalling the beta version again, but it did not help. Any ideas as to why this keeps happening?

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.

If deleting/purging and/or reimporting don't work, then there isn't much else you can try except importing them to a new DB.
i eventually got it to work by changing the table name, my screenname and the hand numbers and then adding the screenname to my alias.

however it just happened again today and i obviously cant do this everytime a hh doesnt import. this time its ftp thats missing an obvious table out of a 4 tabling hu match. what im trying to say is there's obviously a bug in HEM. the answer to a bug in HEM is not to reimport ur database only to face the same problem again. the answer is to fix it!

creating a new folder on desktop only sometimes works. e.g. there was a table i played 28 hands but hem recorded only 4. i moved the file to desktop, reimported and all 28 hands came through. but for this other table which never showed up originally, moving it to the desktop does nothing and nor to any other folder.

omg this is tilting me so much. ur lucky ur competitor sucks even more.

ok so from my 4 tabling HU session, 1 table completely imported, 1 table didn't, and 2 half imported. even worse is if i filter by last 2 days and choose group by sessions my total winnings will be different to if i group by sessions (by table). this is obviously a ridiculous result.

Please start a new thread on the HM forums. This type of issue is impossible to work on in this thread. This is not a common problem and it is likely something specific to your system or your files.

Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to your new thread, to support@holdemmanager.net.

I have created a thread on the HEM forums but I thought I would also post in here as well.

Does anyone know a lot about creating custom reports in HEM or know someone that does?

I have started doing a lot of HEM analysis and looking for someone to help me get my analysis off of spreadsheets and into HEM.

You may be able to find some 'HEM Coaches or Training'. There is only 1 site that I know of, but it is not affiliated with holdemmanager.net in anyway.

I have only recently started using the replayer more. I right click my marked hands and choose Replay All Hands. Then I go from hand to hand ok for a while, but always after going through maybe 10 hands or so it starts throwing exceptions, "Timeout while getting a connection from pool." Quitting the replayer and starting it again doesn't help. Restarting HEM helps. Maybe the replayer is not re-using the connection when going from one hand to the next, but is opening a new one, and is not releasing them either?

how would you mark a whole torney to review later in the HEM replayer?

secondly in game is there anyway to have the HUD show stats from that torney not evey hand you have on them villains?

Lastly when reviewing hands in the HEM replayer is it possible for the stats to show just that torney as well rather than the everything in the database? reason i ask is reviewing my own play it can be good to know how loose tight you have bene in a torney....

I just saw a similar thread on our forums. Is it by you? Maybe it was a post in the beta thread. Can you please start a new thread on our forums with as many details as possible? Then I can have the HUD developer take a proper look at it.

You cant 'mark' a single/entire tourney. You can replay an entire tourney.

tourney > results > dataview > select the tourney in top window > in the bottom hands window click on Time column heading (twice) to sort it so that the oldest/first hand is at the top > right-click > replay all hands

I think the 'session stats' work for tourneys as well as cash games, but I can't say for sure. I will try and test it later tonight when I play a couple sets, if I run into some familiar players.

I don't think that there is an easy way to do this currently.

I just recently started using HEM. I'm having a problem where the HUD shows up fine, and starts to import hands, however the HUD stats completely stop updating after 8 hands or so. It also doesn't update when a player leaves and a new one sits down. I haven't done anything filter wise as far as changing min/max players. I play FR on Tilt fwiw... thanks.
