Hi everyone

I have a small issue with my HUD HH.
When I start a new session or move to the other table in MTT, my HUD reset every time so it doesn't keep my own stat...

Does someone know how I can fix it ???

sooo I've been having the following two problems.

First, my HEM has been getting a lot of import errors from datamined hands. I had this exact same problem once before, but was able to get rid of it by reinstalling HEM. I'm not really sure why this problem has come back. I tried upgrading to beta36 today, and I am still getting the same import errors.

Second, it seems HEM is missing the import of a lot of hands that I've been playing. The hands may be clearly in the text file, but it won't show up in my database.

Any suggestions?

That is by design.

HM is designed to only show your session stats at that table as we felt it was alot more useful for a couple of reasons:
1) A lot of people will have a huge amount of stats on themselves so it saves lagging issues having to show these for yourself
2) A lot of regulars are very aware of their stats and when youve alot of stats accumulated it would take a huge swing just for 1 stat to change since you've such a big sample and so there not very useful
3) Its much more beneficial to see your session stats to get an idea of how aggressive or passive people will see you since you sat at that table. (again even if its against a reg youll know yourself your overall image or at least you should)
4) You can easily check your overall stats in the reports section to remind any stats but again most people know their stats pretty well.

Please update to the latest beta - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.
4) Paste them into your new desktop folder > HM > Import From Folder.


If that doesnt help try a new test DB:

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=146
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=173
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, and export/import the hands from the old DB, and then delete the old DB. - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm....aspx?faqid=21


If that doesnt help, start a new thread on the HM forums with all the details and we can have you email us some hands.

I get an error that says:

Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 and/or holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=171


If HM is opening at that point, but wont connect (transport connection error):

Hi. I've got the new Holdem & Omaha Pro Version. I also already downloaded the 1.09 Beta Patch. However, after having imported all my omaha hands they don't show up in the Cash Games area, ie. I have no stats whatsoever on my omaha hands. I'm guessing this is because the beta patch isn't working for some reason. I double checked that I installed it into the actual HEM folder (C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager), but it just isn't working for me. What to do? Any help would be appreciated. Fwiw I'm running Windows XP sp3.

Edit: HEM's top bar does read the following, though: Hold'em + Omaha Manager Professional 1.09 beta 36b. That'd imply that the installing of the beta patch was a success, right? If so, what the heck is wrong w/ the missing omaha stats then? Oh and btw. they are importing as errors, just like someone wrote above (and the solution for that problem was to download the beta patch, lol... sigh).

I own, use, and like HM, but fyi: this is a sign of poorly written software (2nd fyi: This isn't needed at all for me on Win7)

And is the "shouldn't be needed" 96dpi setting being fixed in the future?

They were importing as errors, before you updated? Have you tried to reimport the hands since updating?

UAC doesnt NEED to be off on UAC either. I dont think you read the post I made completely.

If you leave UAC on, you have to set your programs (that communicate with the database) to always run as admin. We also suggest you add exclusions to your firewall for the holdem manager and postgresql EXE's.

I can't speak to the development time-line for that particular item. The best thing to do is make sure is it on our uservoice suggestion site, so the developers and management can see it. We are doing a lot of things internally to free up time for the developers so they new features/improvements can begin appearing faster.

They were importing as errors before and after the update. I've reimported a few times after the update, no success. To me it still feels like the beta's not working even though it seems as though it is. Should it be activated somehow, in addition to the mere installing?

My \HMArchive folder was totally empty. Is that something to worry about?

I'm not a huge software geek - or genius, if you will, so perhaps I've made some elementary error or overlook or whatever... Is it possible that the omaha stats aren't showing because of something else than the reasons stated thus far?

When you purchase holdem manager do you have to renew it every year? Or is it a one time purchase. Reason for my ? here is that I purchased it through cardrunners when i was a CR member (about a year ago) and my computer crashed, so i bought a new computer and Im trying to reinstall HEM, but HEM support has no record of my purchase and cardrunners has been no help so I was just gonna purchase the software all over again. Has anyone ever dealt with this situation before?

Can someone let me know how to import the player notes that I have from the HEM on my PC to the one on my laptop? I just imported all the hands, but I don't know how to import all the notes I have on most players.

Step by step guide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

HEM isnt correctly recording my tournament results on pstars, ive been playing a bunch of 180 man turbo and its not so far only 1 has recorded as a 180 man, its not showing correct field size, finish position or cash how do i fix this?

Thanks fozzy, but right now I can't even open the friggin software because my firewall decided to randomly go crazy. I don't have time to deal with it now and I don't have access to my desktop during the week so I'll probably return to the subject next weekend and try to avoid asking the same questions all over again. Hopefully I have the omaha tracker up and running by Christmas!
