another question: i always get confused which delete does what.

I wish to do two things. Firstly to make HEM run faster i want to delete all hands from 3/6 BUT KEEP HUD stats and reports of 3/6 results and VPIP etc, for both myself and everyone else.

Secondly I want to delete everythign from 2/4 - hands, reports, HUDs, just get rid of it all

how do i accomplish these two things?

You can suggest it - http://holdemmanager.uservoice.com/p...er-suggestions

Options > Observed Hand History Configuration > Purge Observed Hands

....
Options > Purge Hands > 3/6

The stats will remain in the HUD and the Players tab but the hands should be gone and unable to be replayed, etc. Once we implement the Cache Rebuilder, they will be able to removed from all areas of HM.

I'm guessing the answer to this is going to be no, but it couldn't hurt to ask just to be sure.

I play mostly $6.50 STTs, where I'm generally at a table of randoms with maybe 1 (usually max. 2) players I have any history at all with. Since STTs play out very differently at the beginning than they do at the bubble, players' stats (or at least a good player's stats) will look very different on/near the bubble compared to at the beginning. However, I find that weaker players (generally those who are limping half the pots and never raising) don't really change at all.

What I'm wondering is if there's any way to filter HUD stats (based on number of players at the table) only for players that I have previous history on. So say for instance I'm at a table with 1 person who I have >1k hands with, and the rest of the table is randoms. Is there any way I can filter the HUD for just that one player but not for the rest of the table? Like I said, from looking around in HEM for a little I think the answer is no, but it couldn't hurt to ask just in case.

I had another question that I can't remember now, so if I think of it I'll just post it in here. Thanks in advance for any help

Quick Question: I have looked but didn't see any info on this. I have installed postgres 8.4 and when I restart psotgres has created a new user profile in the Windows 7 logon screen.

Is it ok to delete this user? Why did it create itself? did I do something wrong?

Thank you.

It is a quirk of that new installer from enterprise. You do NOT want to delete the user, or you will have to reinstall SQL. Trust me on this.

A small registry hack works well though.

This was my first time ever manually editing the registry and it was very simple.

The HM FAQs have some info, if this is your first time using it.

For analyzing the stats/data, the best place to start is the HM > Articles menu

Thanks Fozzy! yeah I uninstalled it right after posting to see what happens and sure enough it messed up HEM.

Does having the extra postgres user account use up any resources? It shouldn't right?

No, it is a basic windows user account, just like if you made a login user account for 'mom, dad, son, etc'.

Hi I have just a couple of questions about HEM. I am currently 12 days into the PT3 60-day trial and love it. I've heard that Hem is a little better, will the $55 small stakes version of HEM work for .01c/.02c - .25c/.50c NLHE, and can I transfer my PT3 data over to HEM somehow? If so, how?

That document, along with other HEM documentation and FAQs, is being updated currently to more accurately reflect the current 1.09 version.

That PDF manual you linked is also linked in this FAQ:

I've just bought Holdem Manager and I don't know where to start. Please help me configure it.

This morning HEM is not importing hands for me from PokerStars. I just get an increasingly larger number of import errors. I did update PStars yesterday. How do I go about updating HEM, if that indeed is what I need to do?
