Does HEM/HUD work with absolute poker MTTs? Today first time tried MTTs there and seen o hands imported.

Fozzy, you helped me a few weeks ago when I could not connect to 127.00....... that occured after I did a windows update.

Fast forward to today and I did another windows update and I`m getting the same error. I think I remember all the things you did to fix it so I should be able to do it again, but do you have any idea why this is happening?

I am not certain, but a couple possible causes: The updates sometimes turn UAC back on, if it was off, for Vista. If W7 it may have set the secondary logon service back to manual instead of auto.


Under Vista and Windows 7 make sure UAC is disabled http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=73 and/or holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the holdemmanager.exe and the hmhud.exe executable and select "Run as admin" from the popup menu.

Control Panel > Secondary Logon > Start (or right-click > logon > make sure it says auto and not manual)

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, uninstall it completely before installing HM/SQL - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=171

Hey, if this is in wrong forum myb.

just had to reformat my comp and having problems setting hem up with stars.

ive set up postgres, dld HEM and set it up..

my hands are being saved to c/pokerstars/handhistory and they are being saved in english.

i checked off auto import and made sure that it was being imported from the same file+subfolders.

ive played some hands and they are being saved, but theres clearly something bad happening with the importing, because the hem isnt showing any hands being tracked, and i cant set myself up as hero


any ideas and help would be appreciated.

I just downloaded the new version of HEM for my Vista 64bit laptop and its giving me problems. The HUD isn't working probably after 13-15 hands. It works fine for the first 13-15 hands (all the stats popup on the screen etc) but after around the 15th hand it just stays the same. It doesn't update the hands after that on the screen, so the HUD stats just remains at whatever it was after 15 hands. I am playing on Full Tilt.

Someone help me out please. Thanks.

I have a big issue with HEM.
My all Ipoker stat have disappeared from all tabs even if it still showed as current import folder.
Same for FTP even if stats never appear in any tabs but works with my HUD

Any help?

All the postgreSQL install walkthroughs are for 8.3...are there any instructions anywhere for 8.4 since the setup is completely different?

We are re-writing and updating a lot of the faqs soon. The install for 8.4 is a breeze. If you dont have postgresql isntalled, and this is your first install, just go download the one-click installer.

You basically only have to click next a few times, and enter a password for postgresql.

I am looking for a stat which will show an opponents fold to 3 bet % by position (specifically his fold to 3 bet % from LP when 3 bet in the blinds).

Looking through the different stats I see Fold vs 3b.CO.blind according to a post in the HEM forums the nomenclature for these commands are "fold vs 3bet (your position) . (Villains Position)."

Am I right then in saying that using Fold vs 3b.CO.blind and Fold vs 3b BTN.total will be the best stats to use for this purpose?

We have been discussing this over in sttf, does the HEM red evline work with non 9man sngs. Is it set to a 50/30/20 payout or does it change based on if its 6max, DoN, mttsng, etc? Is the red line completely useless for DoNs and such if its based on 50/30/20?

I have problem when i'm starting Holdem Mnager my computer showes error.
I click > ok then > continue HM start (it shows litlle window - HM initializing database) but main window HM don"t show itself (import, cash games,tournaments etc.). It's possible that HM test itself 20 min or more? If not and this is error what I should do? my database sql has 400 MB. I have HM i SQL in external hard disk

Hi, it works for all 18 man and single table tourneys including HU, double or nothing, sites that provide different payouts for 6 max tourneys, etc. It does not work for MTT's since we require a complete payout list at the time of the hand.
