Go to \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe and see if it will open. It likely won't.
Also try to reinstall the Verdana Font. -

All of your original HHs should be in your C:\HMArchive folder (or w/e u set it to archive). The exporting the db to text is insurance.
There are a couple other things you can do to help make sure you don't lose anything.
Make sure you do not uninstall postgresql, first and foremost. You should be able to connect to your DB, assuming it isn't damaged for any reason.
You can use PGAdmin to backup your DB, in case you ever need to try restoring it. -

If you were to have to uninstall SQL, this can be done without deleting your DB (in the \data folder), and then you can install SQL and use the old data, as long as you are using the same version of SQL -

No, it fit's within their new rules. Roy obv cleared it with them before implementing the feature.
