How are you getting 5 observed hands on ftp? Could it be considered datamining by ftp? Any chance of ftp banning HEM cause of this or have you cleared it with them first to allow the 5 hands?

This is a known bug and should be fixed in the next beta.


Go to \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe and see if it will open. It likely won't.

All of your original HHs should be in your C:\HMArchive folder (or w/e u set it to archive). The exporting the db to text is insurance.

There are a couple other things you can do to help make sure you don't lose anything.

Make sure you do not uninstall postgresql, first and foremost. You should be able to connect to your DB, assuming it isn't damaged for any reason.

If you were to have to uninstall SQL, this can be done without deleting your DB (in the \data folder), and then you can install SQL and use the old data, as long as you are using the same version of SQL - http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=177

Cant get HEM to import HH history. I follow configure instructions to a T. But when I go to import prom C:Programfiles/FTP I cant find C:Programfiles? Does any have any soutions to this or HH for tournament and SnG hands thet would like 2 share with me please. Thanks 4 any help with this promblem.

Ok, so I downloaded the Beta 15 version.....

I saw you told another poster that you had to Configure his Auto Import Folder.....I was wondering, Configure it to what?

In that folder option, I have 2 folders listed. One being for FTP HH, but then I added the second one FTP HH and my user name, because of the whole observed hands not working deal. That part I have, and it is working fine for me.

Is there a third folder I have to add now to that list, for the pre fetch to work properly? If so, what is it called, or do I create one....computer newb here, so not really sure.

I thought if I downloaded the Beta 15, and then went to options, set it to fetch after 1-5 hands, it was all I needed to do, but it appears there is one more step.....

I also see it isnt saving my 1-5 fetching option, but I know that you are aware of this bug and will have it corrected on the next patch update.

You do not need to have both folders designated, and it shouldn't matter which you get rid of, as long as the one you keep is set to also 'import from sub-folders'

If you only play at ftp you will want 2 auto import folders set, and yes, for now you have to turn on pre-fetch for ftp each time u restart HM.

Anyway, I want to make a custom stat for rakeback. Not based on rake paid, but on MGR.

I was trying to find or create a customstats.txt file in the reports folder, but it doesn't exist and there are no other files that seem to in any way indicate the placement of stats. I see bystakes.report, handsatshowdown.report, etc. I made my own customstats.txt file and placed the rakeback stat in it, but nothing happened.

I am sure that I am overlooking something really simplistic, but I just dled this program and I have the HUD and everything else working the way I want except this.

If anyone would help or just point me in the right direction it's greatly appreciated.

Make your own, blank text file, using Notepad. Then enter your custom stats there and save the file.

Today I can only seem to get select stats on certain tables. They are mixed and matched on what I get stats on, so it's not like I can't get stats on ONLY deep tables or ONLY cap games or something like that.

Yes I have the latest beta and it worked 100% with no problems yesterday on a huge session, what broke now?

Nothing other than the obvious, make sure you are using 1.09 Beta 15. If you are still having problems start a thread on the HM forums and we can take a look at your machine to figure out what is happening.

Anyone know if its possible to re start Holdem Manager Omaha trial i was playing on cake but couldnt get the hand histories loaded into HEM so i didnt worry about it.

Now I am playing on Fulltilt Poker and know there is no issues with loading hand histories and setting up HUD so i would like to restart my 15 day trial

Anyone know how to do this or if its possible?

Sorry, it is not possible. You would need to install it on a new PC, or else reinstall windows on your current PC.

There is an existing HM thread in this forum, where these questions should be posted, instead of making a new thread.

I played 150 hands 4 tabling at FTP and had no issues at all.

You will have to be a bit more specific. There shouldn't be any major issues with the HUD on FTP/Stars.

why does HEM lags my FTP client like really bad whereas it's smooth sailing on Stars?

Have you tried playing the new FTP client w/o HM running?? Is it still laggy? The new FTP client is very laggy all by itself in my testing, and according to other posters I have read.

I'm having the same problem today. The HEM HUD works fine for the first 10 hands or so then stops. It's importing the hands because I see them in the database, but they aren't displayed in the HUD (past the first ten).

I have not played in 3 days. HUD was working fine then. Go to play today and it works on stars and not tilt. Any ideas?

You can also get the latest beta from the main site. The same beta link is posted there, but the text on that web page is typically behind the actual beta number. I am going to email Roy right now and ask him to update that page, as it says Beta 7 currently.

Under the Hands tab is there any way to add columns? Specifically I would like to add an absolute # of bb's. In general I don't care if I won or lost the hand, I just would like to see all the hands where I put a lot of money in.
