I currently play cash games at Full Tilt and utilize HEM; however, I've recently began dabbling at Pokerstars. Accordingly, I am trying to figure out how to get two names, from two different sites, to track in my singular HEM database. Is this possible? I'm screwing around with the "player alias" feature, although if that's the ticket I'm clearly doing something wrong. My HEM HUD automatically began tracking when I play on PS; however, I never actually did anything to get it to pop up - is there something I need to install? I suppose since my HUD displays on PS, it isn't the end of the world if it doesn't store in HEM, but that would be my preference if at all possible.

Any help here is greatly appreciated. I'm mediocre at best with technology, so dumbing down the explanation as great as possible would also be appreciated....

pretty much= you don't need to do anything and it will work.
maybe ur auto import hands are not getting hands from your pokerstars folder. if ur sure its getting the hands you shouldn't be having trouble with any of what you said, and if you are then idk whats wrong.

its so wierd, according to what you said (is probly usually right) i'd be seat 5, but when i put seat 5 it puts boxes on wrong people. when i say seat 2 it works, so problem solved i guess, even though it doesnt make sense to me.

make a unique alias name, add both screen names, and then search for your alias name to see both screen names combined.

You have to make sure you set the preferred seat in the stars client and then match it in the hem seating prefs. Then try opening 1 micro table and playing to see if it works.

Anyone else having a problem with HM crashing when I open up new tables?

I'll be playing a couple HU tables, have a few HU tables empty and I open a new one and HM dies.

Please go to Hud Options > Table Preferences and enable logging. Then recreate the crash and then go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Logs and send Mike the log.txt file with details of whats happening to mike@holdemmanager.net, make sure you send the file before restarting the hud after the crash otherwise it will clear the file

Is there someway to display your pot odds on the HEM hud? I know the poker office hud is capable of this.

I'm trying to download Hold'em Manager for my pc (Running Vista) and everytime I install PostgreSQL I get an error message towards the end of the install saying it cannot connect to the server.

I have followed the guidlines on the Hold'em Manager website to the T, and have turned off my user controll settings.

Is there any option that the HUD pops up when I opne a new table? ATM I have to mark the tables with the table finder but when I open a new table a little later I am not able or I simply do not find a "table finder option" so I have to close HEM, start it again so that the table finder automaticlly pops up when I click on "Start Auto Import".

You sent me alot of hands you mentioned 220k hands but its more like 220k players by the look of it, it says 3 days to import (thats at over 100 hands/sec so i need to do it a bit at a time so it might take a few days)

Strange that youd get it while installing, can you try rebooting and try it again

i try opening hh i copy and paste to 2+2 and it comes unvalid data or cant find data...

i wonder since im struggling finding a good hh converter for ipoker i found some but not sure how to get them copyed over to 2+2.. beeing i convert them f.eks on flopturnriver.com if i try and copy past from them it does not work...

im not member of weak tight etc so cant use them..

Is anyone else having trouble with HEM insta-crashing when you click on the Scanner tab?

This has been constant for me since I first tried it in beta 18 all the way up to beta 32 now and I haven't had any luck with the advice on the HEM forum. I have dual monitors but it still crashes when I disconnect and use only 1 monitor.

Vista - tried multiple settings: Aero, Standard, Classic etc.
Clear Type turned off.
Tried adding HEM to my firewall exception list.
Tried 1 monitor by itself, then the other.
Did a fresh install following Morny's directions.

Anyone with this problem that has figured out how to fix it?
