I just bought it yesterday and downloaded 1.6.3d...so there is a new one out now? I'm surprised it doesn't update automatically. Do I basically have to check every day?

So I've got to download the newest version of the HUD now too, eh? With all this does I'm really surprised it doesn't update BOTH automatically

I believe he enabled auto-update now, for major versions. These 'test builds' in between the major releases, are beta builds, and do not update automatically.

There is limp call stat in player preferences, but I don't see one for HUD popup stats

my stats keep moving to the bottom, i play on ipoker tell me how to solve this problem it should not be so hard please...

What color do you have for alt background? I've got a grayish color and it doesn't work so well. My regular background is transparant so I don't want to use that

Hey Hey,

Okay this is PT2 and Holdem manager related question.

So I went to load HH from my latest session into PT2 however it said there was none!?!? So i look in my HH folder and no new HH was there.

I then found that the holdem manager archived them into another folder. But PT2 still wont upload the hand histories from this folder or even if i copy the files and put them in my original HH folder it still wont load up. Any ideas?

The hud that comes with 1.06.03 has this bug where the stats drift down (I use ipoker miniview with stats outside the table window). Replacing it with the one I linked to fixed it for me.

When I try to open the software, it doesnt open and this message appears: "The following error occured when trying to open the database: Failed to establish a connection to 127.0.0.1"

What is the problem and how am I going to fix it? Im using v1.06.03.

Read the FAQ, nothing helped. Seems like my postgresql is somehow being shutted down and I cant put it back on; when I try to put it on, I get the message where im being told that postgresql has been put on and then shutted down.

I know you fixed your problem but FYI...

Uninstalling and then reinstalling doesn't mean you have to reimport all your hold HH's. Those HH's were imported once and are now stored in the postgres database. You're uninstalling HEM which is a separate program apart from Postgres.

Hmm, my holdem manager seems to be broken. I updated it a few days ago with the newest release and now when i try to open it i get this "this application has encountered an error: 0xD000011E"

anyone know what i should do?

Hey, I've been using Hold Em Manger for months now and last night this message pops up when I goto run it.



First Box
"The Following error occurred when trying to open the database. Failed to establish a connection to '127.0.0.1'


Second Box
DB Control Panel
Holdem Manager has determined that you are running micrsoft vista. In order to have Holdem Manager run
you should do the following.

1 - Disable User Access Control in your control Panel - Users Section. This is needed in order to properly
install PostgresSQL

2 - Righ click Holdem.exe in your Holdem Folder, select properties and go to the second tab and make sure
it runs as admin.

3 - Repeat for hud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe

I double checked everything made sure HEM was updated, anyone had to error or know how to fix it? I've been running Postgres since I got HEM.

I just upgraded to HUD (latest version) and still learning some of the options...

Everything appears to be working fine, but for some reason mucked cards aren't showing up. I know about the opacity setting, etc. It seems I'll see the muck very randomly, maybe once at the beginning of a session, and then it just stops showing up after showdowns...

I used Fozzy's link and tried to start up PostgreSQL manually through admin. options but it says..


Windows could not start the PostgreSQL Database Server 8.2 service on Local Computer

Error 3: The System can't find the path specified.

What do I need to do now? I haven't ever had a problem before I don't understand why this would be coming up out the blue.

All,

I've been dragging my feet around upgrading my version of PT2 but I guess I'm finally going to go ahead and do it. Is there any sort of consensus re: PT3 vs. HEM? I've been playing with the Hem trial version for the past few days and it seems pretty good so far. Users in this thread also seem to be less irritated with their product than those in the PT3 thread.

I was going to start a new thread about this but, even though I couldn't find it, I'm sure this topic has been discussed. If anyone could provide their opinion or even a link to a relevant thread it would be appreciated.
