Hi, I recently started playing on Everest and I'm using HEM. I have two problems:

1 - Everest automatically rotates the table so my seat is always in the center. I can't seem to find an option in the Everest client to turn this off. Right now, I'm moving the player stats to the right spot after the HUD has loaded, but it would be silly to keep doing that. I've noticed there's a preferred seat option in HEM, but I can't get it to work.

2 - When I'm playing, auto-importing and the HUD is up and running, I regularly get a runtime error when I try to open a new table, and Everest just shuts down. The only solution I've found so far is to completely shut down HEM, open the new table, and then relaunch HEM, but that seems a bit tedious.

Anyone have any solutions? Thanks.

Go to HUD-Options/Seating Preferences select Everest and set 6-max to "3".


No problems here, my system is WinXP with SP2.

No. I use the 'Adjust Color for Sample Size' on all my stats, and then use color ranges on the number of hands (as well as all my stats). The adjust for sample size keeps the stats color dimmed, until a sufficient sample size. Some stats obv take much larger samples to converge, such as 3bet, 4bet, etc.

Sounds like you should post on our own forums. Send the log.txt file from the logs folder to support@holdemmanager.net as well please.

Can you attach hands using the table finder - under the tables menu? It is possible your skin isn't one of the auto-detected ones and you will be prompted to add it to the "cryto skin list" if the Table finder works.

I've always been responsible for the HUD. I kinda like having everything in one place just to get an idea of what's going on overall...but w/e

All new hands from Stars are being marked as duplicate and not imported.

For the graphical cards shown in the tables, how can I get the colored cards? Right now I get the white cards even though I changed my HUD muck cards. Obviously that doesnt control the tracker cards.

Pick your preferred deck, and save/rename/paste into: C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Images to replace cards0.png. Any deck for FTP can be converted to work with HM.

What does this mean?

I know in graph, i can set from when to when...but in Report, is there a way to show how much I made each month?

Hey Fozzy, that's exactly what I did. I am still getting the white-face cards though, not the grey/blue/red/green.

You apparently named it wrong or saved it in the wrong place. More than likely its the former. Make sure that you can 'View File Extensions for Known File Types'.

If this isn't enabled, you may have renamed the file to now be cards0.png.png

View Known File Extensions.


You should end up with C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Images\cards0.png

If I "export hands" do I no longer have them for that database?

If so, how do I get my hands to another computer while still having them on the original?

It simply exports a copy of the HH's to text files. Those files can then be imported into another PC with HM, or another HH Tracker, to recreate the DB.

Good idea to start a new thread with loads of FAQ in the OP, yes (although really, I'd consider it better to change the OP in this thread and continue, but little difference).

Not very keen on the idea of TWO holdem manager threads, better in one thread imo.

In table manager, right click the table, and you get the window.

It seems to me, that it's intended to save the chosen table type as default here (when you select default from the dropdown,) but it doesn't, and you have to change it for each table.

Any chance you can add play money hands to the purging options? My DB is screwed from testing my AHK script. Want some HH's? I can send Party and FTP. How about a check option to never import Play Money hands as well.

I just downloaded it to check it out and imported just a couple hundred hands. I'm new to this type of poker software though but it looks promising and I am sure once I get use to it it will help me out.

My questions is though....I only play tournaments, no cash games as at all. Is there a way to track my tournament play and money finishes based on different stats such as buy in and number of people playing etc? When I load my hands right now it seems to take a running total of the money I have lost in the tournament (ie the $1500 starting chips you get) I see under the tourney tab there is a "session" and "graph" tab that doesn't work....

Oh, ok, it's deleting the hands but not the data I gather, I wondered why the numbers didn't change and assumed the play money hands stayed. I have to do a monster import for my SNG hands so I might just get rid of the play money HH's and make a new DB- and stop testing my script on play money A check option to never import play money hands would be handy just the same...

Is there a way to get HH the way Pokerstars save them?

Right now I only get Holdem Manager format for hands I played and I don't really like it.

Could someone tell me how to get stats, but to only get them from popup (not to have them listed all the time). Also, on certain stats like open button raise, I would like to have in parenthesis how many times the player has been in that situation (i.e. how reliable that statistic is). I know it's possible to do both of these things, but playing around with it I couldn't figure it out. Could someone help me out?
