I'd also have 2 questions for graphical HUD:
-can I hide the table HUD showing average VPIP, PFR and AGF for the whole table?
-can I customize which stats are shown on the graphical HUD?

HM2 doesn't support them yet so they are not in your HM2 database. You will have to manually import the original HH files that were played since Stars added that feature, from your C:\HM2Archive folder* to HM3 via the File - 'Import Folders' option.

*All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.* It is configured in the Site Setup - Auto Import Folders menu.

Just in case, I am waiting for the same update (fortunately it seems it will be released very soon) but in the meantime, I was using the instant hand history, copied the data and pasted it into a txt file in which I just deleted the line that villain cashed out and the part about "cashed out" in summary at the bottom, then implemented them myself.

Hi, In HM2 I created a player alias that has a great deal of player names. I'd like to copy down the players I used. Is there a directory or folder anywhere on my computer where the names in this alias are copied so that I can retrieve them easily?

I was making a new popup in the popup designer, but for some reason at one point when dragging in new stats it just instantly started turning the cells black, and not actually adding the stats. even though I was able to add several stats before during the same session.

I am not really experienced with it so first I thought maybe somehow I didn't unselect cell coloring and that`s why it was doing it (but even in that case, why would it make a black cell when I drag in a stat? and not just clicking on a cell.) Also a youtube tutorial showed that by simply right clicking we stop the "formating cursor"

I have restarted HM2 thinking maybe it will "reset" its settings or something but no success.

i'm also missing the hand history HUD for each table, showing the last 4 hands played on the table, so i can click on one and see the hand history directly. Is that still available?

I saw on videos that this is still available, but how do I turn this on? When I enter table averages HUD through HUD Editor, it shows only the averages but not the hands played. It is only the hands played that I'm interested in - we could see such HUD in HM2.

I am sorry but there is no way to do this that I am aware of. They are part of the PostgreSQL database and in there they are nothing but strings of numbers for the aliases 'player_id integer'

If you import the entire database from HM2 to HM3 the alias will transfer with all of the players, and hands, and player/hand notes, etc. If you only want the names so you can recreate the alias manually in a new smaller HM3 database (that you created manually importing files from HM2Archive) then I would suggest you take multiple screenshots of the Alias name list in the HM2 Edit Aliases user interface. Then you can just open those images in paint or similar software and draw a line thru each screen name in the HM2 alias images after you add them to your HM3 aliases interface.

You can edit the font size in the HUD - 'HUD Editor...' menu for each HUD/Stat in the Item Properties section. You can also try toggling the HUD - HUD Options - General Settings - Advanced - HUD Display Options - [ ] 'Allow Vector Scaling' option and/or try changing your Windows DPI Scaling.

You can Ctrl or Shift + Click to select multiple/all stats before making the font edits. HUD - HUD Editor - Ctrl + Left-Click multiple stats in the 'Group Items' list then make your edits to the item Properties - Font.

The HM2 recent winners list in HUD was not part of the profile in the editor, so it does not come across directly on HM2 HUD Import. You will have to copy Recent winners group from one of the default HM3 HUD Profiles. We are looking into the possibility of automatically creating Recent winner list when importing HM2 HUD Profiles.

Here are the instructions on how to add table averages to any HUD profile:

Open the HUD - 'HUD Editor...' and select one of the default HM3 'Profile' that has the 'Table Averages' group included. In the upper left 'Group' window select the 'Table Averages' group and click the small button right of the Delete button and 'Export Group' to your computer. Then switch to the HUD Profile that doesn't show them and 'Import Group' for that Table Averages group file you just exported.

No, there is no need to do that if your database is working fine. We had a few database schema updates during the beta but those were all handled automatically on update. There was no such DB update in the official release, just a version number change from the previous/final pre-release beta.

is hem2 able to import allincashout hands yet?

There are still a couple minor issues left in the internal beta we are testing that the developers have to resolve before we can make it live in the HM2 beta update feed. If they can get the last remaining issues resolved in one last check-in then it hopefully shouldn't be too much longer.

I just recently installed HM3. Where can I find the "Hide hero HUD" option so that my own HUD will not be shown ingame? Thanks

Open the HUD - HUD Editor and choose the 'Profile:' you want to customize from the drop-down menu. Select the group = Default and under Group Properties - set the drop-down menu option to 'Everyone but hero' as shown in this image:




If your HUD has multiple 'Groups' you will want to repeat the process above for all of the other groups in the HUD.

Is there an ETA for the release of NoteCaddy for HEM3?

Also, if I'm certain all my hands properly imported over from HEM2 to HEM3, am I safe to delete the HEM2 program, PostGress, and all of their folders/history?
