Active Session tab > Open Tables Detected > un-check the box in front of each table name you don't want the HUD to be displayed on.

Hello,

I accidentally clicked Import on the wrong files, and it says "20 files imported" but "0 hands." What does this mean for my database? Will any of my stats be messed up because of this?

Thank you

It will not affect your database in any way if you attempt to import unsupported files or duplicate hands.

That being said you should do regular database backups that you store on an external drive and/or cloud drive/service along with your original hand history files in case you ever do have database issues. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary.
Here is a FAQ explaining how to backup your database and all settings in one easy step - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...onfigs+work%3F

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with v7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.

Thanks for the help. I have another question please.

When I mark a hand with a specific color, where does that color code show up in the database reports? I would love if there was a column that showed the tagged color so that I would know if I already reviewed a hand. Is there a feature like this?

My HEM 2 is showing slightly different winnings than my PokerStars.bg balance is showing. For the last month the difference is 130$ for 65k hands.
Edit: I played 50 zoom only

One more please... Is it possible to see which hands were imported today? I just clicked import on my Archive directory, and it imported 19 hands new hands and 6000 duplicates. I want to see what those new hands were, and why I didn't have them previously.

Lastly, it says 6000 duplicates when I imported the archive folder, but I only have 4000 hands in total that I can see in my database. Where are these other 2000 hands / how can I see them?

Thanks and apologies for all the questions, I am doing the trial version and considering buying it.

You have to open the Settings > Hands View Columns menu and move the HandMarkingIcons from the Available list to the Included list then it should show in any report but is probably most useful in the More Reports > ByHandMarking report.

With Zoom it is very important you leave the table open for at least 5 minutes after you sit out to be sure all of your fast-folded hands have been written to disk/file. You should try requesting all your hands from support and import those to see if it corrects the issue.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Audit Files in .htm format. They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder and then manually import those files by going to the Importing option in the HM Ribbon menu and choosing import from folders in the manual import section. You may see import errors as some of these hands are probably already imported.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments and repeat the process of importing all the files. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions otherwise they will not import. You can view this FAQ for more information on importing emailed hand histories:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...dem+Manager%3F

If you continue to have problems even after importing the summaries, please zip and email the problem hand histories (HH files) and tournament summaries (TS files). All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have changed the default. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth e.g C:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with v7283+ it would be in C:\HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\DD\MM.

Anyone else recently (last couple of months) have an issue with HEM1 or HM2 not recording finish and runners in Poker Stars ournaments correctly? Support at HEM are telling me HH and TS have discrepancies so the s/ware can't complete runners and sometimes finish position.

If this is correct it must be happening to everyone but I haven't seen any complaints or notes on it from others so wondering if it is just me with an issue as it seems? I have some hh with Help but guess they're swamped as it's been weeks with no reply.

If you want to PM me your email address I can try to have one of the testers take a look at your email you sent. They have been busy with other tasks (and we also have lots of vacations this time of year as it is the slow season for poker) so they haven't had much time for working through the testing inbox. It is likely a known issue but they will need to actually test/investigate the files you sent to be sure it is something documented and able to be fixed in the future.

On July 6, 2015, from 1200-1300 EST (1700-1800 GMT), we will be performing routine server maintenance. This will affect http://www.holdemmanager.com and HM Sync. Licensing may have short, intermittent interruptions during the maintenance.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Please avoid sync service during these times and leave Holdem Manager open to avoid a license issue.

Okay, so in terms of the actual time you meant 1300-1400 on the US East Coast and 1800-1900 here in the UK?

Thanks for the speedy response!

We meant East coast US from Noon. I think it was the wrong terminology to use EST in the post since we are in Daylight Savings Time right now so I apologize for the confusion it caused. It is done and over with already and fully tested on our end and no issues resulted that we can see.

Hi, I recently got HM2 for my Ipoker software, and I am having problems with the HUD displaying, it keeps on saying that it's " Waiting for hands " I've followed the sites instructions on how to set it up on the Ipoker software, ticked all the boxes I needed too, and it's getting rather annoying.

Is there anything that I am currently missing, I've also tried Manually import hands from the import hands section on the client, but still nothing.

Please help me !

Make sure your site is configured to save hands and that HM2 is setup to auto import those hands - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...20Setup%20Info

*Note that we do not support play money hands so you must test/play real money hands when using HM2 - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ay+Money+Hands

Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ime+Adjustment

If you continue to have problems:

Please follow the instructions in the following FAQ and reply back with the answers to the 12 questions in that FAQ. Those answers should help us quickly identify your issue, skipping questions will just mean we have to ask again in the next email and will delay the resolution of the issue - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...es+not+work%3F

Alternatively you can use our Priority Support Tool which often resolves the issue and it will ask you relevant questions and at the end it will forward us the answers if you couldn't resolve it - http://www.holdemmanager.com/store/priority-support/ - look for the 'HUD is not working' topic. Requests via the priority support tool receive higher priority than normal emails.

When I try to select and show the $USD EV adjusted column in HEM2, the column will appear with no numbers for a few seconds and disappear. It does it both in the sessions and stakes tabs. I recently upgraded PC's and imported all my hands and my notes. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it nor why it would but everything else seems to work fine.

If I look at graphs, it will show the allin EV line no problem.

- Close HM2 and then delete:
- Win7: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Co nfig\ColumnSettings
- XP: c:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager\Config\ColumnSettings
- Showing hidden files: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...+in+Windows%3F+
- Start HM2 again

If you continue to have problems:

Close HM2
Please delete everything in:

Win Vista/7/8: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Re ports and \Filters
Windows XP: C:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager\Reports and \Filters

Showing hidden files: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...+in+Windows%3F+
Restart HM2 and the issue should be resolved.

If none of that helps:

Please try a clean install of HM2. This will preserve your database and backup your HUD and settings.

Step 1 – Restore Default Settings:
First try restoring your default settings, often some settings files can become corrupt and cause these issues:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...fault+settings

Step 2 – Uninstall and reinstall HM2 with Revo uninstaller:
Other times critical system files may not have been installed on previous updates and it can also cause these types of errors or in some cases antiviruses may have removed files that it mistook for unsafe. Doing a revo uninstall also removes old registry file information which might have become corrupt. You can download the free version here: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_..._download.html and there is a useful tutorial how to use it here:
http://www.guidingtech.com/457/revo-uninstaller/

Uninstall Holdem Manager 2 via Revo unistaller and then reinstall this version:
http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...er_2_Setup.exe

Please add this file to your firewall and antivirus exceptions and run it as Administrator.

Step 3 – Follow the steps in this FAQ:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...olders+HM2+use

Step 4: If the default settings work, please use the FAQ in step 1 to restore your settings and test them.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem, describe exactly what you were doing, and attach your log.txt file -

For HUSNGs, Hold Em manager counts a rematch a a "rebuy" within the same tournament tag.

Is it possible to separate my rematches into different tags? They should be accounted as two different tournaments.

Hello, i can see from HM2 that my database is x gb , but in reality it takes 3x as much as seen from hard drive free space.
I just did a full db optimization under db maintenance and purged older hands, but it just saved a very small portion.
I also stopped postgresql from saving logs, but they were under 1 gb.

i checked "HM2 performance tips" from HM forum, but is there any other thread to how can i optimize my db to get closer to the db size shown in HM?

Thanks!

I am not familiar with this issue and not sure if it is documented or can be improved in some way. We will need you to send us some sample hand history and tournament summary (if available) files to our testers.

Please zip up and email the problem hand histories with details of the issue you are experiencing or a link to the relevant thread and send it to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. When sending any hand history files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is too big to attach to an email please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox or filedropper and send us the download link.

The Database Info tab only reads the \PostgreSQL\x.x
data folder. It does not read from your C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Da tabase\Database_Name folder. Vacuum/Maintenance should always be done AFTER purges but purge/vacuum can never reclaim as much space as if those hands were never imported so if you want the smallest database possible you should create a new database and only import the most recent hands you want then delete the old database. If you have player/hand notes in that database those can be backed up and restored by themselves without the actual hands in your older/larger database.

In HM1 there are a lot of tables that deal with a specific hand played by a specific player. In HM2 we don't have these tables, instead, for player related hand data, we use a flat file approach. Each player has his own folder and each file represents a single day. Each line within the file is a tokenized version of a single hand with incredible amounts of detail. Your overall HM2 spaced used (DB + Files) is about 2/3 of HM1 and we store probably 2-3 times as much info plus it can be accessed many, many times faster and allows us to do some things that wouldn't be possible otherwise. If you don't want the space in your Roaming folder due to limited C: file space, we do give you the option of storing this data anywhere when creating the database.

General rule is 1 million hands = 10 GB.

In reality it's: 1 million hands
HM1: 6.8 GB
HM2: 4.3 GB
PT4: 13.6 GB

So with a 10 million hand database you need a SSD of at least 60 GB (Windows) + 100 GB = 160 GB. We use 1 million = 10 GB (instead of 6.8) because when you want to perform a vacuum/analyse or backup/restore a database it will require a LOT of disk space to perform such a task.

You can use this FAQ to try and fee up more space - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...+of+Disk+Space
