Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] Panel Positions > OK

1) Open one Table only and ensure at least 1 hand has imported before moving to step 2.
2) Move the stats with the Arrow Buttons (< >) on the Table Averages HUD to rotate your HUD to the correct position.
3) Now you can open more tables and it should be automatically configured. Let at least 1 hand import before changing anything as this is needed to gather the correct positions.

Please check this FAQ if you play at pokerstars - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...For+PokerStars - and make sure it is set the same in all/any installed PokerStars clients if you have more than 1 ps.xx client installed.

If you have any difficulty following the above method with the arrow buttons you can set the positions manually as explained here - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...1/Site+Setup#5

They do not write tournament summaries so you have to manually edit the results. Any tournament with more than 1 table (and some single table games) will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes. Without this information it is impossible for HM2 to work out the correct results. The only sites that currently write these summary files that we support right now is Pokerstars, Full Tilt, and Pacific. If your site does not write summaries, or you experience any discrepancies with the results, you will need to manually edit the results via the Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rnament+Editor

Recommendations good antivirus that wont effect hem? I was using MSE but i was told there were better free ones available now
The only free one that doesn't cause these and other problems is MSE. Some people manage to get away with using some of the free ones if properly configured but they cause so many problems for so many customers I can not recommend any other free ones in good conscience as the likely hood of you having some sort of HM2 problem as a result is pretty significant. If you want something better than MSE that you pay for I would suggest Kaspersky or ESET NOD.

FWIW I have used it since it was released, and still use it (as do most of the tech/testers on our team), and have never had any infection that I am aware of.

HM2 updates the HUD on 888 and FTP while playing. But it doesn't update the HUD (neither the normal one nor the session stat HUD) on PokerStars. If I look under all tracked hands I also see that only a fraction of all PokerStars hands are in my database. But some hands are tracked. Thanks for your help.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...r_2_Update.exe

Try creating a new folder on your computer such as C:\StarsHands and C:\StarsTourneys then configure PokerStars to save the hands/results here in their Options > Instant Hand History menu and setup HM2 to Auto Import from here in the Site Setup menu.

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ime+Adjustment

If you continue to have problems:

Please check all of the steps on this FAQ (even if you do not play zoom) - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rs+Zoom+Tables

If you continue to have problems please send the requested files/screenshots as instructed at the end of the FAQ in the link above.

I've finally decided to get HM (to record and review my cash game sessions).

I was just wondering can I have the programme on both my desktop and laptop? and if I switch between the devices will all the results be kept together?

Thanks

The same code can be used on 2 pc's you own at once and can be reset as often as needed.

No, you have to manually sync the hands, settings, player/hand notes, etc. We have a beta feature called HM Sync that lets you sync the hands over the internet but this feature isn't 100% reliable with tourney results on some sites at this point, and doesn't sync settings or player/hand notes. We generally recommend you backup/restore your main database to your secondary device then use dropbox to keep your original hand history archive synced between devices and manually import the most recent hands played when you switch devices. If you also need to sync new hand/player notes those would have to be done with the backup/restore method while skipping the database/hands you imported manually.

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question, but I'm a tournament player and I've only just started playing some cash games and reviewing my play.

In the "Vs Player Report there appears to be some discrepancies. For example, there is one player where my Net$USD is -$15. But then when I click on that player, and the hands I've played against him appear in the button half of the screen, the "Net Won" in the button half of the screen tells me that I've won $293. What is the reason for this discrepancy?

Thanks

The upper part of the report will show you how much you won from each player specifically. The hand grid below the report shows money won in hands played with that selected player in total, not from just that player like the upper portion of the report.

Ok thanks. So the bottom half will tell me the total amount won in hands that that player happened to be involved in, but the majority of my winnings could have come from other players? As would obviously have to be the case in the example I gave? Also, would a hand where the villain was in the blinds, and I won a pot against another player, count as one of the hands I've played against him?

Correct.

Yes. If you won his big blind at NL2 then those $0.02 will be reflected in the upper part of the grid even though he folded his blind and you battled with someone else in the hand. The total amount won in the hand will be shown in the lower part of the report grid regardless of who you won the most from or went to showdown with.

Hopefully I am explaining that right and not making it more confusing as this used to honestly cause me a lot of confusion in the past as well.

Haha, no you've explained it very well, I just wanted to double check my understanding was correct. I'm new to cash games so I'm just trying to get my head around things.

Another quick question: Is there a way to see that stats for how that player plays specifically against me? The only way I can think to do that is to change the player in question to the hero, and then go to more filters and filter myself?

I can show you via skype/teamviewer if needed.
This issue has now been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve.

The assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-8583

I have added your email address to the ticket so we can notify you once we have fixed it.

To work around this, you can change it in the dropdown - that will change the filter after you change positions as well.

That is how you would do it to see his stats in the reports but if you replay any hands the stats in his HUD are still going to be his normal HUD stats vs anyone. If you want to see stats in his HUD when playing of how he views you then you would need to use the Malkovich Collection stats NoteCaddy Premium - http://assaultware.blogspot.com/2011...n-by-your.html

We also have a lot of 'Vs Hero' HUD stats in the HUD Designer that do not require NC.

Thanks, that's pretty cool. Do the notes on how a player views you accumulate over multiple sessions? I.e. if I have 1000 hands on a player, the stats of how he views me would be representative of how I played over 1000 hands. I'm guessing if that wasn't the case, the stats of how he views me would simply be my own stats for that session, which I can obviously see for myself.

Hi Fozzy,

I saw that you mentioned JoyToKey. I have been using it as an alternative to xPadder (their site seems to have broken download links) with an XBOX controller on Windows8.

However when the HUD is on it seems to break JoyToKey, if I click Stop HUD everything works fine.

Do you know why this is? Or how/if it could be fixed please?

That must have been a really old post, I haven't used a gamepad or my belkin n52te in years. The only thing that comes to mind would be HM2 or J2K not being run as admin.

Please give HoldemManager and JoyToKey's exe files Administrator rights - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...7%7D7+%26+8%29

The postgresql database server is something local/specific to your machine. It is not some sort of server all customers connect to like our licensing server.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue and the following guide gives a step by step guide:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rt+PostgreSQL+

If none of that helps:

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rewall%29#MSES
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing. Email this file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.
