You would need to create/edit a tournament hand history file with a unique tournament number and import at least one hand so you can edit the tournament results manually. You can't enter results manually and you have to import at least one hand for a tournament before there is something you can edit.

We don't support Bovada hand histories. There is a 3rd party converter but I am not sure if they support tournament hands.

We hope to have a new beta out soon with a fix for this but it may take a day or two.

*Note: If you have more than 1 pokerstars.xx client installed you need to do to make sure the auto-center or preferred seating options are the same in all installed ps.xx clients - http://screencast.com/t/itOrPv6Adr

Once you do that it should set the HM2 > Site Setup > Preferred Seating options accordingly. You do not need to make any adjustments here if you set all ps.xx sites the same as shown in the above link.

If you continue to have problems, try the following -

Do you have more than one stars install location? Did you ever before? Check for .eu, or any other country's software installation. If you are not playing on more than one, uninstall the other, and delete the c:\user\username\appdata\local\pokerstars.xx folder for that corresponding version and delete the c:\programfiles folder for that version. If you previously had one installed, check in the appdata folder - there probably is still a folder. Delete any for sites you no longer use.

If you play on multiple sites, make sure they have the same seat preferences set and Please turn off auto center in Stars' options, for all seats. Please see this:

http://imageshack.com/a/img534/4143/783.gif

If you still encounter a problem, close HM and Stars. Add the Stars appdata folder from above to these steps as well:

Please see this FAQ to alleviate any security bottlenecks:

http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...olders+HM2+use

Delete the c:\programfiles\pokerstars\user.ini file.

Now restart Stars and make sure your seats are assigned. Then, open HM2. If the site setup has preferred seating set, then all is well.
I deleted the user.ini file in the pokerstars folder. There is no other pokerstars client installed besides pokerstars.eu.

autocenter is disabled in the pokerstars software.

It is not saving it because we read the information from the pokerstars user.ini file(s).

*Did you try deleting the user.ini file you did find?

Are you now playing on ps.eu? Did you ever play on ps.com? The most likely cause of this is because it is reading an old user.ini (that you can not find) from ps.com but you now play on ps.xx.

The current build has a bug we did not notice in testing where if it finds a user.ini from ps.com it will stop looking for other user.ini files. The next build we are working on for a quick beta release will address this issue. Other customers with this problem were able to solve it with the steps above or by installing the previous release v7990 so I am not sure why rolling back did not solve it for you.

I will PM you a testing program the developer made that will search your computer for user.ini files and their settings via PM.

Hello,

I'm playing HU on Stars, both normal and Zoom. After last update, it messed up my HUD preferred seating. If stats are under the right player in Zoom, they are inverted in Normal and so on.

Can't get them both to be on the right player. And yes, I tried changing preferred seats and didn't work. The new preferred seating options suck, btw.

How to fix this?

I'm running .7995

It sounds to me like there is something wrong with your postgresql installation.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? Some security software programs have been known to cause problems with postgresql because they do not allow all of the files to be installed properly originally.

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ender+Problems
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

If you continue to have problems, try the following -

The secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services > secondary logon > right-click > start AND right-click > properties > startup type: automatic.

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.

2) Delete the \PostgreSQL\8.x\data folder that is left behind.

3) Delete the sub-folder(s) in c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\HoldemManager\Da tabase (XP - c:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager\Database).

4) Restart your PC

5) Use our combo installer to reinstall PostgreSQL. Make sure you un-check Holdem Manager during installation. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...er_2_Setup.exe

Start HM2 again and create a New Database, and make sure to name it differently than the default name.

*Please update to the latest version - HM2 > settings > check for updates

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and attach your log.txt file with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing. Email this file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.

Hand import is ok.
Did you refresh the graph after enabling the LAW option? The tournament graph does not auto-refresh like the cash results graph when you change an option.

Which site/games are you playing? The LAW line will only be calculated on single table tourneys.

Any tournament with more than 1 table (and many single table games) will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes. The only sites that write these summary files is Pokerstars, Full Tilt, and Pacific. If your site does not write summaries, or you experience any discrepancies with the results, you will need to manually edit the results via the Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rnament+Editor

If you play at PokerStars you may need to request and import any/all of your old tournament histories and import those to HM2. Stars did not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive in the past, like FTP did. They recently added this feature, so please enable the option in the PokerStars client to be sure that it is enabled in the Pokerstars options and be sure that HM2 has added the folder to your Auto Import Folder Configuration.

http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...er+Stars+Setup

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Summaries.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...and+Histories+

If you continue to have problems, please zip and email the problem hand histories (HH files) and tournament summaries (TS files), with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.

When sending any hand history files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is too big to attach to an email please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox or filedropper and send us the download link.

As mentioned in my replies to danuuutz this is because the new build reads the user.ini to support auto-center but there is a bug we did not discover in the beta testing. We are working on a solution to improve this behavior that we hope to have released as a beta ASAP. For now you can rollback to v7900 from the link in our release thread or you can try the instructions below to solve it.

Please see this FAQ to alleviate any security bottlenecks:

Hey I bought a new computer and I turned to hem user. Now I exported all the hands to lovable hardrive and imported to hem2. I see that hem is reading correctly my pokerstars hands but with ipoker, it just shows I have lost every game. I made new database and imported again. Nothing changes. I have been trying to look for help but so far havent found any.

The best way to move your data to a new computer is to use the backup/restore.

- Backup database and settings to file - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...onfigs+work%3F

If you have any problems with that method you should import the original archived hands from your old computer.

What HM2 needs is an option to right click on a hand and choose "upload hh to web" which then instantly uploads it to a site like WeakTight, or a site of your own, for sharing with friends. It's not like it's that hard to copy and paste a hh, but it'd be much smoother to just be able to auto-upload, esp if you could upload it with relevant notes/stats.

We have 'copy to forum format' options available in the new hand history viewer and plan to have similar options in the redesigned replayer in the future. We don't have plans for your specific method of uploading it to their site/converter, or exporting in forum format from the report hands grid, but if you want to suggest it on our forums it is something we can consider in the future if others on the forums also like the idea.

p.s. I didn't address part of your post:

Uninstalling ps.com will not remove the user.ini file. You need to search for the old file and unfortunately you may have to install something like Total Commander as I suggested. One of our remote support techs couldn't find the old user.ini file searching with windows search and had to install total commander and use their search tool to find it.

If you can download that tool I sent and send us the log it should show us which file(s) HM2 is reading from and where they are located which should help you to find the file you need to delete without the need for total commander.
