I'm looking into purchasing HEM2 and was wondering how it works if more than one person (player) uses the same computer as me to play. Will our stats/HH's be inadvertently combined because of this?

Both are playing on the same pokersite? In the reports you can switch between the playernames to see the different results. In the Hud you will see overall stats for other players at the table.
If you want to have everything separated you can create different databases for both players and switch between them before starting a session.

HM2 > HUD Options > Config Properties > HUD Text > Click the 'Background' black box > in the 'Select a Color' window that opens slide the 'Opacity' slider to the far right > OK > OK

Hi!

I got HEM2 for small stakes. When I play at Svenska spel (A Swedish network, BOSS-network) I get import errors when playing 0.5/1 SEK games. I guess that HEM thinks im playing $0.5/1 but 0.5/1 SEK would be about 15nl since 100SEK = $14.

Is there anyway to fix this, without having to buy the full version of HEM2.

This should be fixed in version 7774+.

  • All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\DD\MM.
  • *If the new DB seems to work properly, it sounds like your database might be corrupt. You will want to restore your most recent backup and/or import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and backup/restore any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.

Hi, i have a problem with Holdem Manager 2, my antivirus (avast!) said something about a malware and i hit delete instantly, and i read that i delete something of "postgre"..then the next time i tried to open HM2 this message appears in red "ERROR: There was an error starting the service: postgresq-8.4. Please manually investigate the problem " -

Oh, please dont let that be the only option, i cant manually investigate this i suck really hard at this stuff, so thank you very much to anyone that can help me -

You will need to recover that file from the avat quarantine or more likely you will need to reinstall the same version of postgresql.

If you originally installed postgresql with HM2:
- Uninstall postgresql from windows control panel
- This will leave your \data folder in place
- Reinstall the version from this link and it should get your existing database working again.

In HM1, the session table. Does the USD column ie profit/loss take into consideration the rake column or do I need to do that.

Ie if I'm up 10k for a month according to the USD column but paid 2k in rake according to teh rake column, I'm really only up 8k or is the rake factored in already

That is your actual net profit (minus rake). It is the same amount you should see in the Graphs tab and Reports under winnings.

I haven't seen any significant increase in reports of zoom issues. We hope to have a beta build for the rush issues in the forums later today for testing (and hopefully live in the beta feed update channel tonight/tomorrow if forum testing goes well). hi,i have a problem with hm1, when I try to open it a box comes up saying An error occurred while reading the config//holdemmanager.config file: root element is missing.
holdem manager will now backup the old config file and create a new one for you.

when I click ok nothing happens, any help would be kindly appreciated, thanks.

1. Note your database connection settings from the database management (server name: 127.0.0.1; port number: 5432; login name: postgres; password: postgrespass)
2. Close holdemmanager
3. Go to the folder config in the holdemmanager installation path
4. Rename the file holdemmanager.config to holdemmanager.config.corrupt or sth. like that.
5. Under Vista make sure that UAC is switched off or check the administrator settings for holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe under properties->compatibility
6. Restart Holdemmanager
7. Holdemmanager reinstalls and displays some messages and warnings
7a. A new holdemmanager.config file is generated
8. Reconfigure your database connection
9. After successful start reconfigure your Auto-import settings
10. Table manager should start again.

I have multiple reports from the forums and from our testers that rolling back to that build will get the rush cash game HUD working again while we finalize our next beta build.

Edit to add: In this forum thread there are multiple reports that using 7822 with the posted rush file workaround solution works so you might want to try that before you try rolling back to 7785.

I started playing on pokerstars.be and i start showing HUD/stats after imported 2 hands.
before it was always after 1 hand. What can be the reason and how i can change it so i get stats after importing 1 hand.

I have just started playing on WPN and when i use my HEM2 it never shows the stat overlay, just kinda stalls and says waiting for hands. When i try to edit my preferred seat, it says i need to play hands to see where i am.
I have all the latest versions of all software and had reinstalled them both. Can you help resolve this??

HM1 or HM2? Is this on cash games or tournaments? Is this when observing the table or after you sit down and play a hand? In general that is to be expected if understand your description correctly and you are referring to observing tables.

When you open a table to observe it a hand is already in process which will be incomplete. The HUD will not show until after the 2nd complete hand is finished.

Once the observed hand is displayed and you sit down to play the HUD is not going to update (and correct positions if using preferred seating options) until after you have played your first complete hand and it is imported.

WPN does not have a preferred seating option so you need to leave the HM2 > HUD Options > Seating Preferences > WPN options all set to null '-'

No, its for games i playing, not observing. Its clearly showing a HUD after 2nd hand is completed. I not have this on other sites, only on pokerstars.be that i have this. I use HM1 and play sit n go's.

Are you using the latest HM1 internal build 1.13.01 from our forums? We don't have any testers on ps.be but I just had a tester try this on ps.com and it showed the HUD after the first hand played.

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa..._17Jul2013.exe

Move the files in the handhistory folder to your \hmarchive folder and import them via import file or import from folder to make sure you don't have a back-log of old/stuck hand histories. Make sure that you do not have any folders of old hand histories such as C:\HMArchive added to your Options > Configure Auto Import Folders... menu as this can cause the importer to be over-loaded and delay the HUD.

Try a new session with auto-import. A new handhistory file should be generated.

If you continue to have problems:

Please email your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files(x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config. If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager. Windows hides 'known file extensions' by default. http://www.granneman.com/techinfo/wi...howextensions/
