Sorry, one more thing. How do I change the font colors for these sub-ranges? I'd like to add a yellow and purple one.

To set a different font colour:
1) Left-click the range to select it
2) Select the desired colour from the popup

Sorry, let me clarify that. How do I change those particular font colors? I'd like to add a purple and yellow one and change the red to a darker one.

Those are the preflop group colours.

They can be edited directly in the file /config/settings.txt under [PREFLOP GROUP COLORS].

Or by entering any range in the matrix, clicking on "Apply groups to selection", and clicking on the "Options" icon.

See the screenshot below.

The colours are stored in RGB format.
Just google "RGB colours" for several websites that show you which code belongs to which colour.

Is there a way to import nodes from HRC similar to how hrc-pio does?

HRC exports its data in .json format.
This file can be imported into GTO+ with "File->Import .json ICM model".

HRC seems to offer many different formats for the .json file.
Ideally you should export the format "HRC Spot Export".
We support several other formats as well, but the "HRC Spot Export" is by far the most useful one, given that it contains both the ranges and ICM conversion data.

All your custom settings are stored in the files in /config (the folders are not important).
Specifically, your profiles are stored in /config/profiles.pfl.

A little mod nobody asked for
Doing just 2 things: making RNG more visible, and restricting quiz answers to its value.
Works with GTO+ 1.5.2 x64.

Having a randomly drawn number in a prominent place would probably be very confusing for many users.
So unfortunately I don't think we can add this.

You don't have to , sorry for confusion, it's already implemented by the mod (url in the message). But, if you do, by any chance, it will greatfully help me not to update it for a new version.

But a mod that I absolutely needed! Nice job

Can you please clarify a couple of things for me though regarding the underlying logic used to determine correct/incorrect choices?

1. Using the image below as an example, if RNG is 15, is the "correct" answer Check because 15 is less than 17% or is the answer Bet because 15 is less than 83%?

2. How does the RNG determine the correct answer if the EV's of more than two actions are the same (within solved nash distance)?

In regards to point 2, it may be preferable to activate rounding with the setting "Round for ... 1" and "Multiply with nr of actions".
When doing so, this decision will be rounded to chunks of 25%, with "Check" being rounded to 75%, "Bet $124" to 25%, and the other two actions to 0%.

Hey I am really sorry to ask such a simple question. But how do I see the ev for the entire stratgey?

Its Been Many years since I used your software but I appreciate all your hard work over the years

For the overall EV, go to OOP's very first decision in the tree.
The EV below the table is the EV for the entire strategy.
If you mouse over this EV, then a popup will show IP's EV at this point in the hand.

Hi Scylla,

Is there a way to see which hands are taking certain actions the most often? Like in the below screenshot, can I sort this table by betting frequency? Or EV?

Hi, I can do nodlocking only on one combo by making a pure bet, but have the solver solve the other combos in the range?.
I try to do it, but GTO+ blocks the whole line and no longer solves it, leaving it unbalanced.

Not at the moment, but I can check whether we can add a sorting method for the table.

We looked into this, but the interface was just too confusing to work with. The problem is that it requires two clicks for every combos. The first click to set the desired strategy. The second click to set which combos you want to keep locked. This sounds very straightforward, but as it turns out, within a list of hundreds of combos, it's humanly impossible to keep track of which combos have been set, and which combos have been locked. It was just an enormous mess, and we decided to leave it out entirely. It's not difficult to accomplish from within the solving algorithm, but this is purely because it doesn't work from within the interface.

Really helpful, thanks!

Can you please answer another couple of questions?
1. Is it possible to drill a specific spot using all flops in a database? I don't want to lock the board, just the action sequence.
2. Is it possible to drill only the current decision without having to play out the rest of the hand while still having the result scored as optimal/suboptimal in the Session History?

1. Not at the moment, because there's spots where this feature would not work entirely smoothly. The problem is that it's not always possible to predict in advance whether a spot is suitable in a tree, which could lead to long loading times between hands.
2. Press F1 to skip to the next hand at any point in your hand. An incomplete hand will however not be stored in the session history.

Higher RNG is - more agressive move among the greens will be assumed "correct".

For the 1st picture:
1-17 : Check
18 : Check or Bet16.5
19-100: Bet16.5

For the 2nd:
1-65: Check
66: Check or Bet27 or Bet62
67-68: Bet62
69: Bet62 or Bet124
70-100: Bet124

Hi Scylla,

Is there a way to run a solve with given parameters in the below table, then slightly different starting pot/effstack/rake/cap parameters? I'm asking because I've been building detailed trees for 3bet pots and then editing out the branches that don't make practical sense. I'd like to keep the actions the same while only making tweaks to these parameters instead of rebuilding the tree with slightly different parameters, then going back in and editing again.
