No, I'm using the newest version, it's got that release number. Weird. So you're telling me that the super huge file prob. did not import correctly if it happened balls fast?

Sounds like it is failing on the first file.

If a multi mb file bails fast, then it almost certainly fails. FPDB imports between 50 to 100 hands per second, my 21Mb file contains 17k hands and takes around 6 minutes.

Actually, I was just thinking about this, and it made me curious. How does the bulk importer know how many HHs it is importing before it imports them? After all, it's just a bunch of text. I get the indicator popping up but it never progresses past 1/1 and then just says import is complete after a while. I have a database of 35K hands in here, so I know it's doing something. Does make me wonder tho that you said 21Mb = 17K HHs. I should have a lot more HHs based on how much fileage I have theoretically imported. What would be the trouble here with the indicator/importer?

I just imported a 5.8M file and it contained 5290 hands. The number of hands is obviously dependent on the type of game you are playing, and the average number of actions per hand. Limit games tend to have longer hand histories, and HU matches much shorter.

I know I'm going to get flamed, but please bear with me. I'm a noob at poker and ubuntu.

-_- how do I use this? I'm running this on ubuntu 10.04.

not sure how to get the hud to display or or what path to direct the auto import function to

what's a good basic way to configure the HUD? how many rows how many columns and which stats?

also using full tilt poker the text is really odd

how do i fix this?

Not sure how to fix the FTP text - it is a little bit flaky under wine, but generally works well. Check the winehq page for the FTP client for some hints.

When I try to run the programm a windows pops up and 1/2 second later it disappears. I runned the programm once and then it worked but now it doesn't anymore.
Is anyone here who can help me via skype/or a detailed instruction on how to fix this problem? If it works I will ship you $30 on FTP or STARS.

I've forwarded the offending HH to your email, let me know here if you didn't receive them.

I managed to import the rest of my HH by trial/error. Running the bulk import, forcing the program to close when it crashed and then checking the log for the HH that caused the crash and removing it from the HH folder. There were 3 HH in total (out of 100 or so total) so it wasn't a huge task.

Im having a problem where it is not importing several sessions. I play 8game and my last 3 tables will not import. I dont run the HUD so I use the import after I play FWIW.

No I have only been using this for a couple of weeks and had to uninstall and reinstall last week to get it to work again. I have all my HH's is there a way I can wipe the database clean and reimport everything.

I am on the beta list for the new Pokeit you guys are helping with and was just trying to get a feel for the tracker.

What site are these 8 game hands from?

FTP had some issues which i've since resolved including but not limited to:
- RIT hands
- Handling of players sitting-in/out 'correctly'
- Cancelled and partial hands

Several of which could crash the importer.

Stars as far as I know hasn't had any issues, but it may not have any users either.

why do the stat windows appear in the wrong place? i've been manually dragging them to the right player, but is there way to somehow automatically do that?

i tried the reposition stats but it doesnt work

^thanks a lot. they're not showing up some place insane, just on the wrong player.

is there a stat for each player's current stack? i've checked the stats.py but i dont see any stat like that. maybe i'm blind and it's osmething super obvious.

i just want to tell whoever's contributing how much i appreciate this program. i kinda want to learn python now just so i can help

is there a way to alphabetically organize the stats when we configure the hud?

also i speak/write korean if you guys need translators

edit: i think the current stack stat is net but i dont see it in the options

So you fixed that by adjusting the favorite seat thingie. main menu->preferences->sites->your site->fav seat

stack is not available. I suspect someone will put it in someday.

python is a fun and easy language to work with. A Korean translation translation would be cool; I have no idea how to get started on a translation, that would be a nice addition to the wiki
