It seems like I have some problems with my database.

Around three months ago, I created another database in the D: location while my original installation was at C:. I guess that’s the source of the problem.

After some time, I wasn’t able to find any player in the search player tab or find my own played hands, etc.



The HUD in the game was still working perfectly, tracking all the data.

FreakDaddy gave me the advice to check my main database. Now I’m not sure where exactly my original main database is?

Yesterday, I updated to the latest version and also tried the repair function to solve this issue. This was not really helpful because, since today, my HUD seems to work with a new database. The stats have all started at 0, and the biggest problem now is that the hand counter in the HUD stays at zero.



The last number in the first row should be the hand counter and is still at zero here, although this HUD already has more data, as you can see from the sample sizes of the other stats. I tried several times to start new tables and so on, but it always shows zero. When I used the hand replayer software, the sample was shown correctly.

just wanted to add:
The HUD now still gets updated after every Hand as I've seen and the other Numbers are changing. Only the Hand Counter Stat has stayed at Zero since today. But in the DH Hand replayer, it shows the Handsample too, and was working fine until now for Years.

So you created a new database on a different drive, and you want to locate your original DB? Is that the question? It's going to be in the same location as your D: drive one, but on C: The default location is:
C:\Users\(your system name)\AppData\Roaming\DriveHUD 2\

The other Question was about, that the Handcounter in my HUD didnt work after the Update. I changed it now from -All Hands- to -Total Hands and its working again.

Hi - I'm trying to make my own range charts within Drivehud 2, but I get a "chart position load failed"...when I try to either import a file from Pio or copy to clipboard. Any easy fixes for this?

Ah, ok. That makes more sense. Do you remember changing the setting, or you're thinking it changed when you updated?

I don't have any quick fixes w/o seeing the file. I'd recommend just sending it to support and they will have one of the devs check it and address it. Whatever it is, it's going to be a very simple fix.

Is there a way to clear the database before a certain date? I would like to crop to 1 year.

You can set a date filter that you want to delete, and then just go to overall report, right-click on the data in the report and select delete all. I'd make a backup before doing any DB changes,

Wow.. That's a big improvement. How many hands is that, if you don't mind me asking.

I reduced the number of hands by about 500,000 (using the total numbers from the Population Report). The savings in time was by reloading a HUD (in the Replayer) that took 15 seconds went to 9 seconds.

That's pretty long. Maybe make your default replayer HUD something w/o a bunch of custom stats, so it loads quicker.

You are correct, I am running a self made HUD. That and running an old/weak system (Windows 8.1). Even before I cropped the database, if I used the default DH: 6max, the load was about 4 seconds and now it is about 2. I just haven't taken the time to clean up my HUD and figure out what is taking so long.

So that's fine to run that HUD when you're playing. My point was, make a more basic one, or use one of the default ones for the replayer, so it will load faster. Whatever you switch to on the replayer, that one will load up by default.

Just a quick update. The latest clubgg update is intentionally closing down instances after 5 are opened. It's some command they are sending on the server side. At first the dev team thought it might be resource related, as it would run on higher profile systems, but after about 5 minutes, it would start sending close commands. They are still looking into it, but there may not be any resolution, as it's intentional on their side.

Thanks for the response. I think you can reduce it more by adding more RAM or closing unneeded background programs. Also, are you already using SSD?

Thanks for the suggestions and I am also taking FD's suggestion about making a HUD for the Replayer.

My system is 11 years old and I will probably buy a new one this year. I am not using an SSD. When I purchased this system, they were not that much faster.

Thanks, I got the Replayer down to just over 3 seconds. The one change that had the most effect was removing the (hover over) 3b vs hero. I could never see this stat anyway (I have a pop-up when I hover over 3b stat) and it took off almost 2 seconds by itself.

We need to get you winning lots so you can upgrade that system. SSD makes such a big difference, especially when you're accessing mass data.
