One more bug with the latest stars update. If I have the "hide spgo animation" ticked from the hud it freezes the client sometimes and you can't even close it. Now trying only the hide from layout editor to see it that helps.

Latest versions of StarsCaption have Options / StartSpin delay option. By default you have 1000 milliseconds there, but you can increase it and check if you will have freezes (although Layout editor / Hide spin & go animation most likely will not work after it)

Gotta check it out thx. Fwiw it works kind of fine using the layout editor. You still can see the spin but it removes that massive prizeblock from the table and that is more important. No freezes at all.

I'm very sorry, but this option has been removed from StarsCaption by PokerStars request. This button must be present on the table by Stars agreement with the local regulator.

You can try to create a HUD panel and place it on top of this button (for example you can create a panel just from spaces in Table panes, set height for it by font size and width by number of spaces). You won't remove the button this way, but it will be covered by HUD and you won't be able to click on it by accident.

Is it possible starscaption is causing client crashing/freezing on stars? Was 16+ tabling on stars with HEM3 and starscaption and my tables frozed many times. HEM3 crashed many times and so did starscaption. I notice there was like that red x on starscaption and then it crashed many times.



Then after I close the stars client and starscaption and reopen starscaption and reopen stars client and log in... my tables load but they are literally frozen it seems. You can't even see anything on the table and it seem like starscaption has that red x. I mentioned a similar issue a while back with 888caption and 888 and I think its a similar problem?



But if few of your tables bust because of you sat out and say you down to 12 tables or less, then it seem your tables load. Do you know if this is the stars aurora or could it possibly be starscaption? Or its HEM3? HEM3 crashed multiple times when I was playing. Is there some setting on my pc that probably is causing this such as I need to set my graphics card to be the better one or something? Starscaption is great to use but I'm starting to wonder if it is possibly causing these issues along with HEM3? I mean starscaption and the other caption rarely use much cpu etc right? I don't see it ever use much on the task manager etc.

I having issues with client crashing, in event viewer its fault code 1000
I re-installed Net Framework
I uninstalled and installed fresh version of 888poker
Still having crashes every 30/60 minutes
Ive got top range PC with specs that can run 100 of 888 pokers with ease...

What may i do to get rid of these crashes, please?

By default, it uses the Intel graphics card for many of my programs but I tried to make changes where it would use the NVidia GEForce instead. But is there a way to use the NVidia Geforce when running starscaption or is that not possible? I went to task manager and it doesn't seem to show which GPU starscaption or 888caption uses etc. For other programs, it would show GPU 0 and others GPU 1 etc.

I'm not sure if this problem can be 100% solved, but there are some things I can advise.

1. Some users have reported that the client can freeze when hovering the mouse over the replayer button (replayer is displayed in popup in this case and it seems that this may cause the client to crash). Perhaps you sometimes accidentally hover over this button with the mouse, and this provokes a crash.
To prevent it, try to make a right size panel in HUD / Table panels and place in on top of this button. You also can configure OnClick / Replayer for it if you need to open replayer by click (also you can use a hotkey).

2. If chash happens at open of some dialog box, then try to increase Dialogs / Window processing delay

3. One user reported that the poker client is less likely to crash when the main lobby is minimized. I'm not sure if this can somehow affect, but maybe in this mode the lobby is not updated, the client spends less resources on it and the stability of the work as a whole increases, so you can try it.

Since the new Star's build I have more than a few issues but was curious about StarsCaption' ability to alleviate some of them.

1) Tables no longer auto close when I bust out even though it's checked in the client. Is it possible to have StarsCaption close the tables?

2) auto rebuy and auto addon are set to always rebuy when possible but it doesn't really work like that for me anymore and I'm mostly forced to do it manually with confirming popups that I also have to select OK too. Is it possible to have StarsCaption do the auto rebuys and addons?

I guess those are the main ones cause I often play in stackandtile and these messages, etc get buried in my stack sometimes and it's they are an annoyance to act on while playing.

1. Yes, you can use Dialogs / Close finished tournaments after X seconds
Depends on a tournament type you play (and some other things) there are two algorithms for this option can be used now, you can switch them by Options / Debug / Test9.
The latest versions of Stars client have a bug, and at the end of spin a dozen of windows may appear at the same time (previously there was always only one such window).
If the program cannot close all these windows with default settings, then try enabling Test9.

2. There is no such option in StarsCaption, although can auto handle most of dialog boxes (it has options like Dialogs / Cuto click 'Yes' in 'Auto Rebuy For This Table' dialog).
If you need to add autoprocessing of some additional dialog boxes, then let me know and I will try to do it (I don't know what kind of windows appear on rebuy or addon and I'm not sure if I have options to handle all windows of this type).

Custom player note menu doesn´t work in the pokerstars.PT replayer in the last client update.
This makes this functionality uselesss when we bust and the need of had a note is impossible if it is enabled.
Debug 9 doesn´t work too.

AFAIK you know that 'Custom player note menu' option requires 'Left-click player to assigning label' (in Stars options) to work.
New PokerStars tables have many bugs, and this is one of them - 'Left-click player to assigning label' doesn't works on observed tables and in replayer.

Custom player note menu intercepts the display of this menu and displays it in a separate window, but this option will not work if the client does not display the original menu.
I hope that Stars will fix all these bugs in the future, and they will do it faster if you write about it in support.

Latest update for BetMGM Michigan has caused the HUD (PartyCaption) features, specifically the custom bet sizing buttons to no longer appear at the table.
