1) Yes, general marketplace. So long as it is about seeking other investors to go in with you and not about finding horses you'll be fine. If it becomes more of the latter it'll be closed.
2) Not that I can think of. You could ask in one of the subforum's general questions type threads for people to PM you. I think "randomly" pm'ing would be fine just to see if anyone would be open to talking. As far as someone who backs a lot of people - should be easy to determine in the offering stakes subforum
3) No, see answer to #1
4) No, we don't allow that
Firstly, thanx for the answers
, took you guys a while but I at least recieve some clear replies to my questions, so its all good!
I am obviously aint gonna argue about those replies, I am not the one creating the rules and I surely respect the one who does cause obviously he knows better than me why and how each of these rules help/protect this community.
With this being said tho, I would like to know/discuss whats the case about the negative answer in question no 4.
I ve been told in the past, that the main reason that selling shares of a stable in the marketplace could be tricky, is the extra layer of transactions that will occur and all the problems that come along with that, but if there is a stable owner who is a well-respected and trustfull member of the marketplace who guarantees about investor's money meaning that even if a horse actually scams the stable, owner will have to deliver the stolen money to the investors harmed, I really cant see what the change will be and why this action is not allowed.
In my opinion both investors/stable will benefit by this as stable will be more willing to attract more horses as variance can be countered by selling the right % fraction of horses action, horses will gain some extra equity by selling their % at MU and finally investors will be able to back a group of players (that are obviously proved winning and had someone picking them up + coach them and vouch for them) instead of individuals giving their investment a way better protection vs the variance as well.
I dont know if its my personal opinion or if I do miss something arround this issue but I would personally prefer to buy a 10% at 1.1 MU from a group of players rather than a single one. So can someone please enlighten me about this and why there is a rule forbidding this action?
Cheers !
