Felt bad for the blonde girl who lost to Mathai. She didn't have a chance on that song trying to sing those high notes which were clearly out of her range---was painful to watch actually.

I was pleased that Adam was honest enough to call a battle from his team disappointing, which is exactly what I was thinking about it.

I thought the Line still outperformed Moses. He was a good performer but the other judges were right - everytime he sang it was flat and offtune.

Also thought Karla was bad but so was the other fella so no problems there.

And yeah... felt so bad for the blondy vs Mathai. No shot at all.

I was going to post almost exactly this but I got busy before I could and forgot. I dislike her for that reason.

She was really mad that they lost. And mad she had to perform that way and dance off that black kid.

But she had nice big terts. SO I still like her obv.

I thought Karla was great and has huge upside.

Didn't like the battle rounds, tho. Hope the live shows are better.

Ashley seems like the total package, but Lindsay was my favorite tonight. I also liked Jordis and Charlotte. I don't get the Jesse hype. He is good, but is he that good? In this format, I would never sing anything that couldn't be made current. The girl that did the west side story type song can sing, but it made her seem really old.

Just like last year, Christina seems to look a lot better by the live shows.

X-tina looked smokin'. Looked like she lost a lot of weight from the taped shows til now.

Voted my ass off for Jordis. Nobody else really interested me. The one girl really destroyed that Adele song, and I don't mean in a good way.

Was Jesse the last guy? Because I thought he was horrible. Although tbh, I ff'ed through most of it.

The battle rounds do a great disservice to this show. There were too many situations where two strong contestants were paired resulting in the loss of a good singer (Anthony Evans, Justin Hopkins) and poor vocalists were able to slide through courtesy of weak competition in their battle (Erin Martin). Ultimately the best half of the 48 contestants didn't make it to this round.

Jesse is very good but he just isn't my thing. Chris Mann as well. Stellar singer but I'd never buy anything he released. A little too polished for my tastes. Both will deservedly advance though.

I can't say any of the 4 below is a favorite over any of the others. With the public voting to eliminate 3 of the 6 anything could happen here. I'm torn between Ashley and Lindsey. Lindsey's blind audition was excellent and she was a favorite of mine but she hasn't lived up to that early potential. I agree with Adam's comments last night - she played it kind of flat from beginning to end. Would like to have seen a little more intensity.

Ashley came out of nowhere last night and killed it. I normally don't care for the younger contestants but she was very good.

I love Jordis but she didn't sound great last night. Erin's song choice may hurt her but she can certainly sing. Raelynn has the country niche thing going for her so she should advance. Personally I can't stand Charlotte. She gives me douche chills but I think she advances. Personally I'd like to see this reversed with Jordis and Erin moving on.

The only one who sounded remotely professional to me last night was the fat chick whose father died. Good voice. Everyone else sounds like an amateur.

this show sucks. people just aint that good or interesting.

I agree with fatty being good, the performances overall being bad and the song choices being poor. The Bon Jovi song being old wasn't a problem. It's that it didn't fit anything about Jermaine, not his voice or the type of artist he would be.

The guy who sand Bridge Over Troubled Water should be shot. that's a song that you underplay through the whole song until the very end. Just listen to Art Garfunkle's amazing vocals in the original! Making it into an opera song?? WTF? If you want to go sing opera, go do that. Just because a novelty act like Susan Boyle can find success with that style doesn't mean you can.

Jesus, I wanted to punch my TV during that.

And what's with the judges all saying everyone was great? Lindsey was breathy and off-key. Charlotte was off-key and boring.

I didn't know what to expect with the results here honestly, but I guess everything made sense.

Moses went home like was uhposed to.

Or was it uhsposed. Whatever he was singing rather than supposed during that song.

Opera guy somehow made it through...but really, Charlotte and dreadlock girl weren't any better, so whatever.

Yeah, it's hard to be either happy or upset here. Hopefully next week is more exciting.
