Boardwalk Empire has GOAT potential. This season of True Blood has been all over the place. I still think things will come together but I haven't been impressed thus far.

When Scorsese directs your pilot there is a lot of high expectation heaped upon your show.

Time will tell if it delivers but it is aiming high and is all but a lock for best new show of the season.

I think they need to create a show based on Eric and Godric back in the day. I think that would be 100x better than True Blood.

I agree that they need to stop showing all the best parts of the next episode.

I may actually stop watching the rest of the Season until the whole season is DVR'd them watch them all back to back.

It will...their relationship will be interesting.

Well as I said they've changed the plot a fair amount, but I expect it to have the same/similar ending. I can't wait for it. I will say this, this plot just got way more interesting and I think its fair to say that its better than what was in the book.

Eric seeing the crown of his father, and then having a flashback, was just awesome. I really have no clue how this story will develop, but it should be good. I want to see him rage, but obviously the King is a big problem since he's much older than him.

The dossier Franklin took from Bill's house is very important and it will have an impact on the story, just wait.

Def best episode of the season. Will be interesting to see it get into more of Sookie's powers. And I really hope Tara becomes a vampire maybe she would be a better character idk

The difference in emotions from when he was alive and telling his father he'd avenge him, to when they came out of his flashback was well done. Not sure if he was just covering up his anger or if he's so old that he just doesn't care about his previous life anymore.

I feel like she made some sort of face that makes me think she is learning how to control the powers she has. Will have to rewatch it to make sure.

seems pretty obvious, the latter would make for a useless scene

yeah Eric is definitely angry, probably seething with anger. Remember the earlier flashback with him and Godric. Eric's been searching for the leader of the Werewolves for a long time and at that point he finally learned who it was.

would it really take Eric a century to figure out that the Mississippi King is the leader of the werewolves? Like Sukie and Bill find out by chance in like 5 minutes and Eric spent 1k years not knowing? Seems implausible.

Sookie didn't know the wolves worked for the King, she actually doesn't learn that until she gets to the club in Mississippi. Who know how easy it is to hide this fact though. If you recall, Alcide's pack leader says this group of Wolves are new to their area after previously terrorizing other parts of the world.

Plus the good dog didnt know the "antiques guy" was a vamp let alone the King. They slipped in to a secret ceremony to learn something and she picked up that he was the King from mindreading the pack leader iirc.

It seems largely a mix of random chance and the use of a psychic and it isnt like they have achieved anything major yet. In fact they havent even told Eric who only knew because of the crown.

He wanted to sign a TV contract first.

Also, vampires and werewolves are implausible :P

Its possible Eric doesn't know for sure that the King was the culprit, but based on what Sookie and Alcide saw, they should now know everything. It will be cool to see what Sookie and Eric do once they get back to the Kings house.

Just watched again. He definitely has a bit of a nervous look on his face. Loses the gay demeanor and becomes much more serious. If you watch Eric before the flashback he's smiling, enjoying himself as he looks at the antiques. When he finds the crown he stares at it intensely, for who knows how long. I think the gay one is suspicious of something, but doesn't know what.

last ep made Eric > Lafayette

it is pretty clear eric, is still angry about the flashback and wants to kill the king. idk if he is strong enough, he might need pam, sookie and bill to help him out.

I don't think he can kill the King w/o suffering some serious consequences.

If you assume strength (speed etc etc) to year is a 1:1 ratio the King is still destroying all three with around 1500 years over all three combined.

The end game, i assume, is they turn the evidence over to the Magister and they hang the entire V sales around his neck too given its a short leap from feeding the wolves on your own blood to selling someone else's for profit.

His fate is probably similar to what Bill was faced with, a long time inside a silver casket buried in concrete.

hmm..... now that I think about it, the King and Queen will most likely sell someone out and they will get murdered since both of them are in serious trouble for what they've done. Bill and Eric are the two vamps that know everything (other than the King and Queen), and I think all four will be safe by the time this season is over. I wonder who will get sold out though.

Btw, this is just speculation, I have no idea how this ends.
