Not sure why that's surprising, Monica was tizzle with Laura and John single handedly knocked Laura out and ruined Galu's lead. So with a bandwagon on John, Brett really has no choice because if he votes any other way they might give him some airtime.

Okay, so I was right that Russell would target John, but I don't love him going behind Shambo's back. He even said it: she votes based on emotion. As much as I preached not letting John get into the F7, I'm not sure it's worth the risk of pissing off a nutjob like Shambo. I wouldn't call it a mistake, but I agree with Jaison that it probably wasn't worth the risk. I guess you can weight it as (John's chances at immunity) - (Dave's chances at immunity) > (Shambo flipping back to a Galu that inclues Dave). If the left side is indeed more likely, then it's worth pissing off Shambo.

One thing is for sure, though: there is no way Shambo is getting into the F4 now. I agreed with most that R/N/S was the likely F3, but there's no way she's getting that far now. She's too much of a wacko to take deep into the game because she's completely unpredictable. Dave will still go next, but I think Shambo goes before F5 (and definitely before F4).

I love the auctions. It really shows you who thinks strategically and who is ******ed (which is why I was disappointed that Russell blew it). Natalie insta-opening with $200 for a crappy sandwich? It's $500, not $5,000. I guess the money might mean a lot to some people, but it makes sense for a guy like Mick to just buy the meal if he wants it. The burger obviously isn't worth even $50, but you're playing for a million bucks...if you think a burger and a beer will help you, it's worth the money imo.

I do think the people who buy stupid stuff like a shower or a piece of pie are ******ed, though. Stuff that has no nutritional value is pretty much worthless, especially when you're 10 days away from being able to eat whatever you want.
