Think Sophie may have gone ahead with the drunk cast on RHAP. Was kind of fun but 100 times better on D&C.

And like a poker tournament, you have to pick your spots. I think we'll see Christina try and make a move, but she won't do it until she feels she's at risk. Try too soon and you risk getting targetted when you're not on the block. Her best spot to try is @ F7, IMO.

There's also the fact that people can realize they have little to no **** at winning. With this realization it's all about longevity, there's significant equity in sticking around an extra couple weeks. Making a move that might put you in a slightly better spot but one in which you still have a low chance of winning isn't going to be worth the risk of drawing attention and getting booted.

I'm not suggesting players are exactly aware of this, consciously but it can be an intuitive thing. Kinda like sometimes people nitting it up in a poker tournament near bubbles and pay jumps coincidentally jives with ICM stuff.

I think Tarzan def knows he has a good chance of F3 due to him being a non threat in almost every way. Reminds me of Phillip in that sense. With that said, has anyone ever won in this manner? I have seen about 3/4 of the seasons, and can not remember a time where someone was dragged to F3 because they sucked and won. Anyone?

Well since they let the girls wear make up to Tribal Council I wouldn't be surprised if they gave them some wardrobe options too. I think it is pretty silly that they get to wear makeup to TC.

Sandra was good at buttering the jury up. While others are scheming she's making people laugh, working hard, and not pissing people off. Her strategy is not to be a strategist. She gets people to like her without looking like a huge threat, that's a damn good trait in survivor. She's ran super good in both her seasons but comparing her to huge goats Tarzan and Phillips is ridiculous.

she wasnt likeable at all

people just happened to be bitter at the others because she had nothing to do with any boots because she was worthless

I thought she and Rupert were good buddies? Wouldn't he then have been talking her up to the other heroes.

sandra has like the perfect survivor personality. grating enough that noone really thinks she can win but nice/funny enough to capitalize on jury bitterness at the end.

some of the survivor debate is absurd and akin to chuck's mttc comment, "i'd rather be a losing lag then a winning nit".

Who cares if you think deeply about the game if you can't execute?

Not to mention if we really think deeply about the ability to analyse it's really no different then naturally being born with a personality that flukes into good survivor equity. I mean, plenty of brilliant philosophers doubt the existance of free will...there's a decent chance it's all down to random chance anyway!

Yeah, her too. The more this season goes on the more I think Tarzan and Rupert are very similar. The only major differences I see are age difference, education difference, and Tarzan may be a tad ruder but that just could be because of edit.

No one has a large enough sample or anywhere close to access their skill level though.

right but I'm not saying sandra is the best, I'm just disputing the assertion that she's terrible.

i definitely don't think Sandra "butters up the jury", but i do think she does a pretty good job making personal connections out there. That is a far more effective way of getting on the jury's good side though i don't think she does it with that knowledge in mind.
