So Survivor is a charity now. F the gameplay just have the best story for needing the money

I mean you can argue that Kenzie being able to use her story to influence the jury's votes, IS gameplay. So why shouldn't she get credit for it instead of saying the stupid jury robbed Charlie?

Kenzie reminded me a bit of Michelle Fitzgerald. Nothing super impressive about her gameplay, but won on sheer likeability.

I thought the votes were fair. Charlie and Kenzie both had legit cases. The jury may not have expressed their reasoning very well or at least not within what some think is the game. But even if you don’t agree, Charlie was the #2 of the only player I’ve ever seen teamed up against in an individual immunity challenge. And then it was a unanimous vote out for Maria.

47 showed some promising personalities but tbd after the first half of this season. Granted, the second half of 46 was much better.

Fair gameplay. The rules don’t say otherwise.

With that said, the irony of Kenzie taking out Liz coupled with Liz actually thinking she had a chance is hilarious. I almost lost it when Liz had to turn down the reward because of “allergies.”

The jury eye roll when Liz claimed her robbery after fire was great.

Remembering maria breaking down in tears after she was rightly called a fake for saying hungriest person comes with me, now play roshambo. Her not voting for Charlie is outrageous.

I agree. Maria was going to be the GOAT of the season, and to not reward and vote for your #1 who got you before you were getting him.... well that is just bitterness. But, it does not surprise me because I never found Maria genuine to begin with.

I am not sad Kenzie won, I really liked her. But for me Charlie played better and articulated himself better.

His only problem, which may be a bit ironic, is that perhaps he explained himself too well, as in too clinically, and this was a very emo group who happened to appreciate Kenzie's answers more and found her more deserving - albeit for the wrong reasons. Good for her though.

This is not anywhere near a Russell Hantz loss, but it still goes to show that the jury rules. Period.

Final 4 fire making has to go. It can have outsized influence on the game while punishing the people (like Charlie) who successfully argued for being taken to the end.

And maybe its a flaw in my own understanding of the game, but I don't think there's been a single satisfying winner since Tony shipped season 40. It seems like the game at its core is about managing your threat level. You need perception and reality to not be totally matched so your threat level doesn't get too high but it also can't be so wildly divergent otherwise the jury won't actually believe you when you pitch your case at the end. I thought Charlie threaded this needle about as well as anyone has done in recent memory and yet it seems he lost because he's an Ivy league educated would-be lawyer who didn't make fire and not a struggling salon owner who did.

What a moron. Not realizing that earlier in the game she would have easily been voted out first just because she said that if they had ever gone to tribal.

Was not a fan of allowing Liz to help Kenzie in the IC. That is the type of thing that happens on The Challenge every season, and it always tilts me. I wasn't even rooting for Maria, but she literally had no chance once Liz ran to get the plank for Kenzie.

Liz was delusional and angry till the end. She legit thought she was winning. Her best hope was probably the Ben zero-vote 3rd place spot.

I thought Kenzie was a deserving winner although Charlie also played a great game so it's close. Kenzie was incredibly well-liked by everyone and never appeared to be playing the game as hard as Charlie, which is usually an asset in this game.

It seems like the game at its core is about managing your threat level. - um, yeah, they say this every year, and Probst hammers it home constantly - you have to be aggressive but not too aggressive, you have to be nice but not too nice. That's what makes the game interesting.

Final 4 firemaking removal would make the situation worse TBH. It was implemented mostly because by the time they reach F4, there's usually a clear frontrunner, and 3 people working against them, so they have to win immunity or they're done - essentially exactly what happened at F5 this year.

Ironically - ideally Charlie should have been angling for a F3 of him, Ben and Liz. That he acquiesed to Ben's insane notion that Liz was any sort of threat was probably his biggest flaw in the game. Just say "Liz is a clueless delusional woman who will get zero votes. Kenzie and I are the biggest threats, you might as well ensure only one of us makes it there", then win fire, then sit vs Liz and Ben and win 8-0-0.

Charlie was simply terrified of losing fire and not making FTC. It's akin to laddering up at a final table but not actually putting yourself in a position to win. But hey, he still won $100k.
