Do they not do a basic fitness test along with the medical?? By basic, I mean can you pick yourself up off the ground ?? FFS how does this happen...??

I mean physical challenges in hot weather are a huge part of the game. If he went to the log and puzzle challenge he'd have wound up babbling and blubbering at the base of the log pile.

I think a lot of "content creators" are extremely out of touch with reality with regards to overestimating their own physical abilities. I assumed he was gonna be awful at any physical challenges as soon as I saw his occupation listed as "content producer," although not even being able to climb the ladder onto the boat has to be a new low.

As much as it gets downplayed, there is really a survival element to it where you might not eat for a few days, you're sleeping on bamboo or sand, you're going to the bathroom in a hole in the jungle, there's bugs and dirt everywhere, and that's a pretty big shock to the system for a lot of people. Some embrace it and some crumble.

You seem to forgetting shes still sitting on a tribe with Brandon.

Call me crazy but I have her as a dark horse winner pick at the moment after what Hannah apparently said about her in the exit press,

Kellee or Katurah still being the obvious choices after episode 1 though

the bar is pretty low... she's able to get up from a lying position. that makes her not the worst... also she didn't quit during the first tribal... that makes her not even in the bottom 2

Yes it's funny how they are getting so many superfans who seem to only worry about their strategic and social game and forget about the physical side these days. If you've watched every season and many more than once you should have a good idea of what to do gameplay wise and thus should focus your pregame prep on getting as fit as possible and learning all the skills like fire and coconuts etc. Besides you have like 5 days to plan your strategy in the pregame anyway once you see everyone.

Correct. A good villain should have ulterior motives that work towards the nefarious goal of victory and you kind of want them to succeed.

Emily isn't doing this to further her goals; she's doing things and acting this way because she just sees the worst most pessimistic outcome of everything. She's a complainer.

If she did a confessional where she said something along the lines of:

"I am a calm person, and I think other people really struggle with adversity, conflict, paranoia. I'm going to do my best to create an atmosphere like that to try to keep everyone off balance, while I keep my head and make logical moves", I'd be all for it.

Instead she gives confessionals saying things like:

"I'm generally a super negative and pessimistic person who sees the worst at all times."
