I'm banking on the fact that any somewhat athletic attractive girl is pretty much safe in the first week because the guys will want to keep her around in an alliance.

What happens if say the first 10 weeks you happen to pick 10 players of which none are voted out (very unlikely). So there are 10 players left in the game and you have already used them all. What would happen the next week. Do you get to start over or are you done?

also cardfish1 is in this too, as he was last year, and he's been a thread regular. if you're going to volunteer to run this then as long as someone posts their pick somewhere on 2p2 before the deadline they should be included imo. the whole fun is having as many active participants as possible, and i'm sure we'll already have multiple dropouts once things get started. those not in the game or who plan to get eliminated in a week or 2 shouldn't be weighing in on the rules.

Is Swag been disallowed from playing? I'm taking Shamar as he should be safe weak one but never make merge.

why is he never making the merge? Seems like he'll be decent in challenges.

I don't even know the S1 final standings. I assume you won though, so I'm sure you will let everyone know about it.

And obviously it's fun to have as many people play as possible. I'm not going to disqualify someone if they accidentally post their pick in the wrong forum, but I'm also not going to bend over backwards for anyone who knows about this forum but refuses to use it. Luckily that doesn't seem to be an issue, so we're all good.

He may very well be good in challenges, the main reason I believe he isn't voted out first as well as his initial survivor skills. I think from his interviews, that he wants to make peoples lives miserable which shows me 2 things. From that statement alone he doesn't understand the social dynamics that come into play to go deep in survivor. This will lead to him to assert his dominance not only in challenges but also around camp, that will make him a big target once the inevitable swap happens.

Cliffs: I think he will be a more mean-spirited Joel from original fans vs. favs and should go around the same spot.

Disagree with your assertion here because i don't think he's talking about openly being a prick, more hoping things are rough/doing stuff behind the scenes. If life is miserable (assuming he's not openly being a dick), the guys with the skills to maintain the camp become more valued.

Yeah I understand, I must have failed with my execution of my statement because I meant to imply he lacks self awareness. If lets say, hypothetically he does make things worse for the people and his value increases. Doesn't that play into my assessment that he becomes a larger target for the favs when the eventual swap happens? I just find it hard to fathom this person who has strong survival and physical skills being able to downplay his abilities, to a point where he won't be viewed as a must boot before the merge.

Yeah, that's a reasonable question. It'll depend in large part on whether he's an emotional leader also (See Rupert). Is he can let someone else be the leader while strictly being the surval guy, he might be able to pull it off by easing off "survival guy" as it becomes less-important after the merge (esp on this season, where half the players know they can survive the rigours of the game). Does seem plausible for someone with the soldier mentality. Granted though, we haven't seen a lot of success with that track record.
