If the vote were tonight, under what pretense would the jury vote Dawn or Cochran over Phillip?

He's a figure head who no one respects and is just been humoured by the other members of his alliance. Yes, these are the people who receive votes in the final tribal council to declare the winner. It isn't as much what they have done this season but more what blunders Philip has made that would result in people not voting for him. I think either way it's moot point because Philip is playing really hard right now and will find it hard to make it to the end.

I'm predicting a Dawn, Cochran, Philip F3 with Dawn winning. You heard it here first.

If Philip was in the FBI he would have to be college educated. And possibly with a law degree, as well.

Dawn and Cochran seem to have by far most equity.
If by possible we mean based on edit, chance to get jury votes, and current position in the game, I think we have to give Reynold some small possibility of winning too.

Corrine, Erik, Eddie, and Brenda were all varying degrees of invisible in early episodes.

I don't think Phillip is drawing dead. The edit is making it look like no one respects him, but he's getting his way on everything, which could mean we're being tricked. His chances are slim, but if he gets to the end with people who did a lot of stabbing, he can win.

If I was on the show I'd probably think philip was a funny guy. He doesn't seem crazy just trying to have some fun with the whole secret agent thing.

The only way Phillip wins is if its a one person FTC.

Yeah. Maybe he does other stuff that pisses people off, but getting mad at him for pretending he's a secret agent is stupid. People need to lighten up.

Dawn's in a great position, but I really can't see her winning based on edit. When was her last confessional?

Why? These people are living in miserable conditions and have to put up with his crap all day every day. Why do they need to lighten up?

I didn't ask what you thought of Phillip (I know it seems like most dislike him) , I asked why you think Cochran or Dawn would win?

Personally neither has shown me anything yet, so it would be impossible for me to give either $1mm

I will be very disappointed if this seasons ends up with the winner being that winner only because there are either sour grapes on the jury or it is a "well, you didn't play the worst" vote where they have no option but to give it to the person who basically didn't do anything. I'd prefer to see a dominant strategist actually get a deserving win, and Dawn definitely isn't that - neither are Cochran or Philip IMO.

To be fair, we aren't even at the merge yet and there is plenty of time for each individual to proof their "worthiness". Whatever that means.

There's a difference between being a dominant strategist and being a figurehead. Dominant strategists don't pull hard for Julia to go home, then let Cochran+Dawn dupe them into booting Beardy. Dominant strategists are also generally well-respected people, which they need to be in order to get their allies to carry out their plans.

Maybe he meant dominant as in has suggested a lot of strategy, which is true. It's just that its all awful.

I'm not sure his general strategy has been awful, but he's not imposing his will on these people. They've agreed with him for the most part, and when they haven't (ex. voting out Julia this week), they've quietly turned the tide against him. Had Kim or Boston Rob wanted Julia out, she'd have been gone without any fanfare.

I must be watching a different show from you. I thought Phillip ultimately wanted to keep Julia*, and Corrine wanted to keep Matt because she would like to align with Matt and 'her gay'. I also thought keeping Julia was a much better spot for Phillip.

*I know he told Matt and Michael otherwise, but that's to be expected. I wasn't sure whether he realized Julia was a better option for him before Cochran brought up the idea of busting up the duo, but once it became clear that Corrine wanted to keep Matt, it seemed like Phillip was set against that...whether because Julia is better for him, or he just wanted to oppose Corrine, I'm not sure.

I think Phillip can sense the difference between the more tolerant-types (Andrea) and the people who really think he's a buffoon (Corrine). I don't know that he thinks of it that way, but I do think he senses it somehow.

Am I missing something,

Nobody can stand him
They all think he is a joke
He has played no role in deciding voting nor alliances
He is literally drawing dead to win.

The only positive thing one can say about his game is that he has been decent at challenges.

I stand by the word awful.
