Agreed. Weekend Update really suffers without an audience in particular.
WUWT is a fun little weird sketch, but it should be the kind of thing that airs at like 12:45. The fact that they lead with it after the credits says something about the quality of the writing these days.
The first one was one of the worst SNL episodes ever, which is saying a lot. Haven't watched the second one yet because the first was so bad, but I'll watch the what's up with that clip.

It certainly wasn't the worst and I appreciate what went into making it, but I think that is quite the overstatement unless you just started watching SNL.
